Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: A Meteor from Another World

Celestia, the apex of Teyvat, is also the abode of the Greater Will.

Since the fall of Khaenri'ah five hundred years ago, Celestia has cut off contact with the outside world.

No one knows what happened up there, nor whether the Greater Will is planning to destroy the next nation.

This tranquility persisted for five hundred years, and even the Tsaritsa's scheme to acquire the Gnosisfailed to disrupt it.

However, the arrival of a meteor caused a ripple in this world.

This meteor was so small, inconspicuous in the night sky of Teyvat.

Only the Greater Will knew that this was a true meteor, a meteor from beyond the world.

Opening her eyes after a long time, the Sustainerlooked at her gradually collapsing body.

In the battle five hundred years ago, Khaenri'ahsummoned knowledge not belonging to this world, polluting her.

But even so, she was the best-preserved among the Greater Will's four shadows, and this slowly dying body could still exert considerable power.

As the world's administrator, she had to purge the outsider, even if it would worsen her injuries.

"Hmph—dying? What a terrible feeling." A pitch-black cube appeared in the Sustainer's hand; it was her authority, the authority over space.

Just as she was about to approach the foreign meteor, a vast will descended upon Celestia, locking onto it firmly.

The Sustainer was on high alert; at this moment, she no longer held back, awakening her other shadows besides herself, and the Greater Will's long-dormant main body.

Five figures floated in the air, confronting the external will.

However, no matter how one looked at it, they seemed somewhat powerless, as their injuries were not fake.

"The administrator of this world? It seems you're badly hurt, aren't you?" That will directly spoke from the minds of the Greater Will's five.

"Honkai? Impossible! This world has been isolated; Honkai cannot appear!" The Greater Will, hearing the words in her mind, immediately thought of "Honkai," but soon, she denied her own idea.

"But it's coming soon, isn't it?" The Greater Will, through the window opened by Yu Jin, saw the "sea" spreading upwards, already close to the world he saw.

"…"

"Make a deal?" The Greater Will felt the world's window healing. Yu Jin had managed to escape, and he couldn't let him return.

"What?" The Greater Will clearly didn't expect such a grand display from the Greater Will just to make a deal with her.

"That meteor, you keep him in this world. In return, I will grant you eternity, an eternity that will never decay," the Greater Will said.

"Gulp," uncharacteristically, the Greater Willswallowed, and her calm heart ignited.

She was a Descender, not a true God.

But the entity before her was. That was a genuine God, a God capable of creating worlds and reversing life and death.

But what was that meteor? The Greater Will couldn't think of anything that could make the entity before her feel troublesome; she hesitated.

Teyvat was very fragile now.

"Do you think Gods have good and evil?" The Greater Will, seeing the Greater Will still hesitate, asked out of nowhere.

"No." The Greater Will was silent for a moment, then decisively uttered two words.

"But he does. I don't even understand how he became a God? The sun, the sun, what kind of sun can illuminate a God?" The Greater Will sighed like a mortal, and complained like a mortal.

"He is the Sun God, his authority is hope." The Greater Will saw the meteor land and slowly said.

"...Deal." The Greater Will, seeing Yu Jin's actions on the ground, twitched her eyebrow, then agreed to the Greater Will's deal... The first thing Yu Jin saw when he opened his eyes was lush forests and a brilliant starry sky.

It was a sight he had never seen before. The world of Dark Souls had no starry sky, and even trees were nine times out of ten grown by humans.

In the world of the elden ring, the starry sky was sealed, and the trees were permeated with gold, also losing their original appearance.

"A complete world? A complete world!" Yu Jin looked around him, somewhat disbelieving.

Doomsday had accompanied Yu Jin his entire life. From the moment he opened his eyes, he never stopped fighting, and it had been like that for ten thousand years.

Although the starry sky of this world was a bit strange, and although two strange things seemed to have looked at him, none of it mattered.

"Woohoo!" Yu Jin seemed to burst with new vitality and began exploring the new world.

"What is this? Let me taste it." Yu Jin picked a Sunsettia from a tree and, with lightning speed, stuffed it into his helmet.

The fruit's juice overflowed, forming wisps of steam on his face, but he didn't care. A furnace, after all, was that hot.

"This is a real fruit. What were the luo ya fruits in The Lands Between?" Even though Yu Jin couldn't taste anything, it didn't prevent him from evaluating the Sunsettia and luo ya fruits.

Because luo ya fruits were just cotton inside, and The Lands Between seemed to only produce that one type of fruit.

"Eh? Wait? Why do I know what a real fruit looks like?" Yu Jin scratched his head but didn't think too much about it.

He had forgotten too many things on his journey, but fortunately, whatever he lost, he could always pick it up again.

"What is this? Let me poke it." Yu Jin crouched on the ground and extended his staff to poke the wild boar in front of him.

"Oink!" The wild boar, startled from its sleep, saw an iron can suddenly appear behind it. It gave Yu Jin a kick and then ran away.

"Hahaha, so energetic!" Yu Jin stood up from the ground, patted off the dirt, and laughed happily.

"Hum hum hum~~" Yu Jin held a stick he picked up casually, hugged various colorful fruits, and hummed an unknown tune.

Any vegetation that reached his waist was broken by him; it was hard to imagine that those jagged gaps were made by Yu Jin, whose martial arts were enough to slay a Lord of Cinder and a God.

Perhaps none of the people he knew would have imagined that the king, who once never let go of his sword and shield, had such a childish side.

Yu Jin didn't know why he was so happy; perhaps in the distant past, in a time before Doomsday came, he was just such a person.

The wind brought a trace of defilement, and Yu Jinnoticed it.

The wooden stick was plunged into the ground, and the fruits were stored within his body.

Sword and shield were once again in his hands, because it was time to fight.

Jumping onto a tree, Yu Jin saw four figures continuously running in the distant jungle.

The one in front was a petite figure. Yu Jin only saw her entire body wrapped in bandages, with only a tattered robe draped over her, barely covering her.

The three who followed her were well-trained, and the identical emblems on their bodies indicated that they belonged to the same organization.

Clearly, an organization was pursuing someone.

But Yu Jin didn't care about that. He looked at the Damselette, whose body was covered in bandages, and muttered:

"A child? A child!"

"Hahaha! I feel the duty of an adult calling!"

...Garura felt her limbs growing heavier and heavier. The Fatui's efforts to capture her had intensified in recent days.

She had already used too much of the remnants of the gods' power within her body in one day and was about to collapse.

"Bang!" A bullet condensed with the pyro elementshot towards Garura.

Garura caught a glimpse of the bullet coming towards her with her peripheral vision. She forced her heavy limbs to roll away.

"Hey! Do you want to die? This is one of Master Dottore's two successful experiments!" Lei Chuishouted at the Pyroslinger behind him.

"It's just a leg. Even if it hits, it's no big deal." The Pyroslinger was unmoved and replied.

"Hehe, don't argue. The target seems unable to move. Our mission is complete." The Electro Cicin Mage's charming voice came, and Lei Chui and the Pyroslinger stopped arguing.

She dodged the bullet, but Garura no longer had the strength to run. Her eyelids grew heavier and heavier, and the accumulated fatigue finally erupted at this moment.

"Collei, Garura can't go on. You must escape, escape far, far away!"

In a daze, Garura thought of Collei, who had always taken care of her. Surely, with her attracting the pursuers, Collei would be able to escape their clutches.

"What is that? It's so warm." In a haze, Garura seemed to see a warm flame rushing towards her.

Fatigue and pain were dispelled by this flame. Garurahadn't felt this relaxed in a long time. She forgot everything and fell into a deep sleep.
