Chapter 1 - Limitless Chaos

A student is walking toward his school. His uniform is loose, his tie hangs crooked, and his clothes look a bit oversized. His shoes are dirty as well. It's not that he's poor—luck just hasn't been on his side. Still, he looks calm.

Another student passes him on a bicycle and shouts sarcastically,

"Hey One, try setting fire to the school, will you? I'm not in the mood to go today."

One stares blankly at him, then walks straight into a pole. The electric pole bends to the ground, but unbothered, he continues on his way to school. From a nearby announcement tower

[ Attention! Everyone is advised to evacuate the area. A doom-level monster has appeared nearby. ]

One remains unfazed by the danger awaiting him. He keeps walking, yawning.

Not again… I hate when I can't even go to school in peace.

Just as he turns the corner, a monster appears in front of him.

"I am Do-Dongo. king of the Dodos, and the most powerful creature on this planet. Get ready to be killed, kid."

As the monster finishes his speech and prepares to strike, One notices a line of ants marching by. He crouches and stares at them. The monster tilts his head.

"Are you already bowing before me? What a pity." He sneered and threw a punch.

Still crouched, One copied his motion, and their fists collided, canceling each other out. The monster stared in surprise.

One stood up with a straight face and said,

"Hey, I have to go to school. Can you please step aside? If I'm late, the teacher will scold me."

The monster shouted, "Are you mocking me, brat?"

One looked at him with a flat expression.

Suddenly, the monster lunged, striking at him again and again. One copied every move, matching the same force with each blow. Do-Dongo grew tired, and just as he was about to speak, One punched him in the face, knocking the monster down.

Without a glance back, One continued his journey to school. From a nearby tree, a person watched everything.

"Hmm, interesting. I think I'll keep an eye on him." He muttered, then slipped and fell from the tree.

One studied at Kantako High School. He was average in academics, weak in sports, but passionate about video games. He rarely showed emotion. Since childhood, he had been cursed with terrible luck, the kind that drew dangers powerful enough to threaten the entire universe.

Because of this, One grew up in loneliness. Even his parents kept their distance, and now he lived alone in an apartment. To him, being on his own didn't matter much. He simply passed the time playing video games.

Whenever danger shows up and he's attacked, he simply mirrors the same force and technique of the threat, clashing again and again until his opponent wears out. That's when he delivers his final move. For him, it has become just another routine.

Monsters, aliens, curses, evil spirits, and beings from other dimensions appear on Earth from time to time. To counter them, Japan has established an organization called The Zenith Order. Those who work for the Order and face these threats are known as Strikers.

The Order uses a ranking system with seven grades. These ranks motivate Strikers to keep improving and climb higher.

The grades, from highest to lowest, are:

X

S

A

B

C

D

E

Grades also have sub ranks ranging from 1-120 in every grade. order alot a grade out of seven to a person based on their test result . People with all type of different powers joins order if they pass the test .monsters are also cateorgrized in differnt levels .

Threat levels from highest to lowest :

Supreme – Planet-level destruction. Can wipe out entire continents or even destabilize the planet. Only the strongest Strikers can confront them.

Apex – Country-level threat. Capable of massive destruction across cities and regions. Requires elite Strikers to handle.

Blaze – Multi-city destruction. Can devastate large metropolitan areas and cause widespread chaos.

Crest – City-level destruction. Can flatten a city or cause catastrophic damage to infrastructure.

Doom – District-level threat. Dangerous enough to destroy neighborhoods or multiple city blocks.

Edge – Town-level destruction. Can annihilate small towns or communities.

Fang – Village-level destruction. Threatens small settlements or rural areas.

Ground – Localized threat. Can harm individuals or a small group, but generally limited in scale.

Just as One passes the main entrance of the school, heavy rain starts. He sighs in relief, glad he didn't have to get wet. He rarely shows emotion through his words or actions, though sometimes his facial expressions change depending on the situation.

As he enters the classroom, a pencil suddenly slices through the air, narrowly missing his face. One glances at the student who threw it. Another student quickly apologizes. The thrower hadn't expected anyone to come through the back door; he was just aiming for the bin.

One sits in his place without saying a word.

"That was close. I had to change the trajectory of the pencil at the last moment," he thinks.

His classes are unusually quiet, especially for someone with such extreme bad luck. During the fourth period, he glances out the window. On the road below, a man walks by wearing nothing but a large leaf covering his lower body, holding a spear in his right hand.

"Looks like someone's on a rampage. Anyway, isn't it too quiet?" One mutters, shifting his focus from the road back to the board.

An announcement echoes through the city block.

[Everyone is advised to stay inside their homes. An Edge-level curse has appeared in the area, and Strikers have been dispatched.]

Everyone starts to panic, while One taps his fingers on the table, wondering why they are shouting so much. Even knowing that Strikers are on their way, they still panic. Well, I guess I'll take a nap in the meantime, he thinks. The curse has been located in the children's park.

"Please, don't do anything to my daughter. You can kill me, but spare my child," a voice pleads.

A cursed mannequin, holding a child in its hands, stares at her and laughs. "Too weak, not worthy of eating," it says, tossing the child into the air. A gust of wind carries the child safely back to her mother.

"That's not very nice of you, Plasticman. By the way, I really like to dispose of garbage properly."

The curse giggles. "Come before me, or I'll kill them both."

"Why don't you turn around?" As the curse does, it is completely destroyed in an instant. A tall man, his face hidden behind a mask, picks up the head of the curse.

"So you finally showed up," the curse's head spoke.

"Oh, looks like you still have some energy left. So, what now? Are you going to kill me? Help! Someone, this piece of garbage is threatening me!" the masked man says, tapping the head.

The child shouts, "Mom, Rift Weaver is here to save us!"

Rift smashes the curse's head and gives a chocolate to the child. Then he disappears into thin air. The child opens the chocolate wrapper and finds a plastic lizard inside. She cries.

Rift walks home, hands in his pockets.

"Kids shouldn't take anything from strangers. A good lesson for her. But what can you do? I just love bringing people onto the right path," he mutters.

School ends a bit early today because of the curse that appeared in the city. On his way home, One thinks, I'll buy the game I've been saving for a month, Riok Adventures. It's very popular among students.

As One reaches the game store, a monster suddenly appears from the sky in front of him.

[ Blaze level threat ]

One picks up a toothpick from the ground and throws it at the monster. The force behind it splits the sky in half, and the monster is completely annihilated, only its lower half remaining.

One has a secret. There is no limit to his powers. He can use any type of supernatural ability, and his raw strength is limitless. Having dealt with all kinds of threats since childhood, he grew bored of finishing every opponent in an instant, so he set up a system for his powers. From that point on, against any opponent, he could only use the same strength and abilities as they did. There was one problem though. His stamina and energy bars had no limit, which meant he could fight without losing a single drop of blood, getting tired, or running out of energy.

To win, he has to think strategically and use his environment to his advantage, as he is bound by a self-imposed system. While the system is meant to limit his powers, it fails the moment he shows even a speck of emotion.

His fear that the game would sell out created a rush of emotion that instantly overrode the system. With his limits broken, he one-shot his opponent.

After he bought the game, he went straight to his apartment to play it, unaware that someone had been following him since the morning's fight.

"What's with this game? Isn't it too easy?" he grumbled, lying on his couch and playing. His doorbell rang, but he didn't hear it over his headphones. After a few moments, the person outside began to tap on the door.

He noticed the tapping, got up from the couch, and went to open the door. A person in a ninja costume was standing there.

"Please, teach me how I can become strong," the ninja says, bowing like his life depends on it.

"Wrong address," One mutters, slamming the door and diving back into his game.

The ninja keeps pounding. One groans, rips off his headphones, and swings the door open. "Seriously? How persistent can you be?"

"Please, teach me!" the ninja asked again, his voice cracking. "I saw you fight those monsters. If someone as strong as you teaches me, I know I can become strong too." Tears were streaming down his face as he pleaded.

One, wearing an irritated expression, mutters, What a bother. Can't even play games in peace these days.

"For now, tell me your name. We'll talk tomorrow. I have to take down a dragon," he says, referring to the dragon in his game.

"I am Sato. Nice to meet you, teacher—"

Sato's nose gets hit by the door as One slams it again and goes back to playing.
