Theresia slammed the bedside lamp onto the table, furious and refusing to accept Ace's words. Theresia didn't want to deal with any creatures anymore; her life was already unsettled because of the vampires.
The night breeze from the window made the atmosphere even more tense, and Theresia's aura was terrifying. Even if she tried to be a normal human being, she still couldn't lose her witch's soul.
"Get out of here, now!" Theresia said firmly, lowering her head to try to control her emotions so that her power would not take control of her body.
Instead of being afraid of Theresia's anger, Ace smiled and felt challenged. Of course, he was an Alpha werewolf and feared no one, especially since Theresia was his mate. Ace rose from his seat and walked casually toward Theresia, who still had her head bowed.
Once he was in front of her, Ace grabbed Theresia's shoulders and said, "No matter how hard you resist, and no matter how far you run from me, you will always come back to me, because you are the one the moon goddess has destined for me. Nothing can change that, my dear."
Hearing Ace's words just now made Theresia even angrier. She stared at Ace with her shining blue eyes. Angry, of course. Theresia's life was already complicated and ruined. She didn't want her life to become even more complicated by dealing with a werewolf. She had no desire whatsoever to be the mate of an Alpha werewolf.
"Get out of here!" Theresia shouted, pushing Ace hard.
Ace was stunned because Theresia's push sent him flying all the way to the window. Ace didn't fall, but he still couldn't believe Theresia had that kind of strength. Ace tried to smell Theresia's scent, but he didn't know who she was.
"Wow... your strength is amazing. I'm even more convinced that the moon goddess has destined you for me," said Ace with a crooked smile, looking at Theresia, who was now also looking at him.
"Damn it, why do you keep saying that! I don't want to be your mate; get out of here and don't come back!" Theresia shouted, clenching her fists, her patience being tested at this moment.
Ace laughed lightly and said, "Okay, I'll go. But..." Ace paused for a moment.
"But what?" Theresia replied irritably; she was really fed up with Ace this time.
A crooked smile appeared on Ace's handsome face, then Ace disappeared like a gust of wind. When Theresia turned to look for the man, Ace suddenly appeared right in front of her face.
Not only that, but Ace didn't waste the opportunity while Theresia stood still. Ace held Theresia's neck with his right hand, his face slowly approaching hers.
His gaze fell on her beautiful lips. A second later, their lips met. Ace closed his eyes as he gave Theresia a soft kiss, the blowing wind adding to the romantic sensation.
While Theresia remained where she was, she neither enjoyed nor resisted. It was as if she had been drugged and couldn't move at all. Theresia could only close her eyes, because her body refused to rebel. She didn't know what Ace had done to her.
After satisfying himself kissing Theresia, Ace finally released her lips. He remained in the same position, his eyes fixed on Theresia as he said, "You're mine; nothing can stop me from having you!"
Ace smirked after saying that, pressing his lips against Theresia's once more. He kissed her briefly, then vanished in a flash through the bedroom window.
A few moments after Ace left, Theresia came to her senses. The woman cursed silently, letting out a sigh. Theresia wiped her lips, which were wet from Ace's kiss, clenching her fists tightly. Who wouldn't be upset if a stranger suddenly kissed them without permission?
"Arghh... Damn it! That man is annoying; how dare he kiss me! Why didn't I fight back earlier?" Theresia grumbled as she slammed something nearby, feeling annoyed and angry.
Theresia sat on the edge of the bed, looking at the night sky visible from the bedroom window. "Is my life going to be complicated again? When will I be able to live peacefully without any disturbances?" she muttered as she squeezed the blanket near her.
Her memory returned to when Ace kissed her earlier, and she was annoyed and angry at him. There was no reason for her not to believe that Ace was an Alpha Werewolf. Remembering Ace's strength, which he had shown several times, made Theresia even more afraid. Was this a sign that she had to deal with immortal creatures again?
"Damn it! That man is making me dizzy." Theresia rubbed her lips again; Ace's lips still felt there.
"My first kiss, and that crazy man took it," Theresia muttered, her chest heaving as she held back her emotions. Then she got up from her seat and went to the bathroom to wash her face.
In the bathroom, Theresia immediately washed her face and rubbed her lips roughly. Wiping away Ace's lipstick, Theresia felt disgusted with herself. Even though the night air was very cold that night.
"Arghh... Just die, you crazy man!" grumbled Theresa, who was still busy washing her face.
While Theresia was busy washing her face, suddenly an old man stood behind her. It surprised Theresia to see the old man in the mirror's reflection, and she suddenly turned to face him.
"Who are you?!" Theresia screamed in panic.
An old man dressed in black opened the hood that covered his head and face and smiled at Theresa. Then he held out his hand and said, "It's me, your grandfather."
Theresa's smile widened, her annoyance instantly disappearing at the arrival of Grandpa Hans. Theresia threw herself into Grandpa Hans' arms, releasing her longing. She hadn't seen her grandfather for the past few months, but Hans was all Theresia had now. Since her father and mother had died, only Grandpa Hans still cared for her.
"Grandpa, I missed you," said Theresia in his arms.
Hans just chuckled in response to his granddaughter; he missed Theresia very much too. But whatever his decision was, it was the best for Theresia and the other witches.
Theresia released her embrace. "Come on, let's go inside. It's very cold here, Grandpa," she said, pulling Hans into her room and telling the old man to sit on the edge of the bed. Without hesitation, Theresia immediately ran to close her bedroom window and lock it so that no one could see or enter the room.
After making sure everything was safe, Theresia returned to Hans and sat down next to the old man.
"Grandpa, what happened? Are you okay? How are the witches there? Do the vampires still bother you often?" Theresia asked without pause, truly afraid that something had happened to her grandfather and all the witches there. She suddenly felt uneasy, her mind racing in all directions. Aiden and his friends were indeed very dangerous to the witches. Should Theresia go to Draciana to make sure everything is okay?
