What is life?
I once imagined it as a happily ever after where I could enjoy simple, carefree life filled with joy alongside my family. But that illusion shattered with a single tregedy.
It happened in the summer before middle school, a moment that changed everything. Throughout the following three years of middle school, it lingered over me like a shadow I can't shake. l was reduced to a mere ghost of who I had been, drifted through middle school as a gloomy introvert, consumed only by focusing on my daily routine and academics.
And yet, a single thought has echoed in my mind for those three years: I want to be sociable again. I want to live a normal life.
That chance came when my uncle told me about Burbank Heights High School. I took the entrance exam, and soon after, the acceptance letter arrived.
So I seized the opportunity to begin a fresh new chapter, a clean slate. To reclaim the three years I lost, and shape the next four years into the Ideal high school life I always longed for.
