- General Information
-Angels, Demon and Devils: In this world, would you believe since it's conception, there's been forces lurking right under your nose? Entities who bestow humans with unimaginable powers for a cost? Beings who deal pacts with your average person, granting them the ability to do what ever they want. But in this novel, the concept of equivalent exchange is always apparent. Power must be earnt, and continued to be earnt in an exponential rate of growth and work. If one who has dealt a covenant with those whom he shouldn't, and attempts to halt their growth, their punishment would of been nurtured and would devour them, soul and all.
- Angels: Angels are God's servants, that is their purpose, that is their reason of existence. They are holy, mighty, and loyal to a fault, never hesitating to carry out God's will. Each Angel has been categorized and ranked since the creation of the first angel, the first being to ever be given life! Gabriel! Angels are tasked with safe holding and guarding concepts that God created to govern all his realms. Life, Death, Fire, Intellect, Fate, Time, these fundamental concepts were given to Angels at the beginning of the realm's birth. Angel's are extremely fond of humankind, as they bore witness the first human ever created, Adam! He is the reason why Humans are able to come into contact with the supernatural, and why they are able to link with them.
- Demons and Devils: Despicable. Foul. Wretched beings who serve "It". Found in each layer of Hell, Demons are common archetypes found on Earth and Hell, roaming the Infernal Plane, a gap between the Astral World, and the Physical World. Some Demons possess concepts too; Disgust, Loathing, Frenzy, these corrupt authorities that govern the world belong to them. Devils are something...superior, frighteningly intelligent, unthinkably strong, and they possess a higher tier of concepts, granted to them by "It"; Tragedy, Despair, Catastrophe. Demons and Devils have one thing in common, they are beyond the concept of evil and malice, surpassing the idea of viciousness. They are the conceptualization of Corruption and Bane given physical form, wielding their abilities they take advantage of unsuspecting humans and make pacts with them.
- Fallen Angels: Fallen Angels are the lowest tier of any ranking system, Demonic or Sacred. They rank the lowest due to their betrayal of Heaven, and the indifference they suffer from most Devils and Demons in the vast layers of Hell. They served "It" for a while after their revolt of heaven, but grew to be ignored and irrelevant to Hell's motives. Even though they still possess their God-given concepts; (Shadows, Thievery, Combustion) they have little to no humans who are bound to them. Almost all of them has accepted their mundane and dull fate, and have taken up residence in the 3rd Layer of Hell, Gluttony.
- Ranking System of Angels/Devils: Angels are ranked accordingly, from strongest, to downright insignificant: Seraphim, Dominions, Powers, Archangel, Angels, and Fallen Angels. With Devils being ranked from strongest to weakest; Archduke, Duke, Fiend, and Imps.
- Bound Humans: Human kind has been in contact with supernatural forces before history was even conceived. Human's have approached these existences via rituals, prayers or in acts of desperation, been found by an act of pure fate and pity. Every single human, who has ever been bound, began their journey at Stage One Bound, this stage is the very fundamental of a Bound Human's abilities, with each increase, their respective abilities flourish; their range increases, proficiency enhances, and physical body becomes something less human, and more extraordinary.
- The Bound One's Trial(s): It is a universal constant that to increase your Stage, you must go through a secretive and mystical trial. This requirement is 100% needed to evolve onto the next stage of progression. These trials need a sophisticated and profound understanding of the Bound's own abilities in order to succeed in their trials. There is no punishment nor failure in these trials, there is only success or nothing. But, power in this world is an steep slope of trials and tribulations, of calamity and blessings. Nothing can exist nor be gained, unless first given something of equal value in return. The only exception being the first and the last, God!
- Bound Stages: Every Bound Human is restrained by their stage's level. Each Stage ranges from 1 - 9, with 1 being the lowest, and the first the human starts to progress, with 9 being the last, and the hardest to obtain in a single lifetime.
- Common Terminology
- Bound Humans: A special type of individual who has made a deal with a mystical being. The title of being Bound spans the human's stage level; Stage 1 - Stage 3 are called Bound, Stage 4 - 6 are called Reverends, and finally Stage 7 - 9 are called Arch-bishops. If that human has unfortunately been bound to an unholy figure, their titles may differ; Stage 4 - 6 are called Cultists, and Stage 7 - 9 are called Nightmares.
- Realms: A common theme found within novels, in this story there are 3 main realms explored; Hell, The Heavens and Earth. Hell is a realm of endless torture and negativity, completely void of God's attention and bliss. It is layered, with each one being boundlessly large and hosting an innumerable amount of pitiful souls. The Heavens are the antithesis of Hell, this is where the Angel's reside, where they are tasked with their duties that range across all three realms. And the one were all too familiar with, Earth!
