"Huh!"
"Where am I?, where is this place?"
Lee Han Soo woke in a unfamiliar room, the first thing he saw was the beaten ceiling. Sunlight streamed through the windows, he slowly raised his hand to shield his eyes. Lee Han Soo's vision adjusted, he with shock in his eyes bluntly stared at his hand. His mind mind swirled with a dozen questions.
*How is this possible? My body is that of a child's!*
Demanding his questions be answered
He took in his surroundings. The room was average in size, with wooden walls along with a rough wooden floor. It looked nothing like his morden apartment in Seoul.
"Damnit my head hurts...!"
Lee Han soo tried sitting up straight, but his body was heavy and uncoordinated. His muscles ached like hell, and his head spun. He collapsed back on the bed feeling disoriented.
*What's going on with me? Could it that I'm dreaming?*
He punched his arm to see if he was dreaming or not.
"Ouch!"
He muttered rubbing the sore spot.
The pain did not help, but it did make him fully aware of his surroundings.
*No, this is a 100% real*.
He observed the room again, taking in every detail.
The pain left Lee Han Soo's body, he sat up straight, this time without the the nagging pain. Lee Han Soo restated his chin on his hand, gathering his thoughts. Suddenly he was hot with flashes of memories that he did not recognise. Images of a childhood he was unfamiliar with, people he'd never even met before, of places he'd never visited. The memories were fragmented and disjointed.
Lee Han Soo saw a woman smiling and hugging him, along with a group of mischievous rugrets, that seemed to be his friends. A blooming and vibrant village that seemed to be his home, but none of it felt like his own memories. It was like watching someone else's life unfold before his eyes.
The flashes stopped as suddenly as they began. Leaving him disoriented and confused.
*Just who in the world we're those people?*
He scratched his head, with confusion.
Lee Han Soo paused for a moment, he's face frozen with an unreadable expression the corners of his lips curled up with an enigmatic smile as he pieced everything together.
*This body, the strange room and these memories this can only mean..."
"I've been Reincarnated!"
He excitedly raised his fists.
Lee Han Soo couldn't contain his excitement. The thought sent a rush of adrenaline through his veins. He was after all living every Otaku's dream. He took a few deep breaths trying to calm himself down. But it was no use. The excitement was building up inside him.
Creak! Creak! Creak!
The door creaked open, and a woman stepped inside.
The had a kind face, with soft features and beautiful brown eyes along with long blond hair that tied back into a lose bun. She wore a simple yet elegant dress. She locked her eyes on Lee Han Soo. Her face lit with a mix of shock and joy. She rushed and knelt besides the bed. She tightly squeezed Lee Han Soo's hand as sobs cracked her face.
"---XXX---" ("My baby!")
"---XXX---XX---" ("Thank goodness, I'm so glad you're awake")
Her voice muffled, as she leaned in for a hug, squeezing his small frame.
Lee Han Soo listened to the words, as he struggled to make sense of the sound and syllables. At first it was a jumbled mess, but then the words began to take shape. The language became clear to him. The words poured into his mind like water.
*She's speaking English.*
Her cries echoed throughout the whole village e village, her years fell like rain, and resonated with the weight of her emotions. Lee Han Soo couldn't help but feel embarrassed. As he looked at the woman's tear stained face, he immediately recognised the woman.
*She's the woman from those earlier visions. Judging from her actions she's probably the mother of this kid or atleast someone close. But why is she crying? Damnit she's putting me in a situation where I have to say something.*
...Ugh!
*Alright then!, I'll just use my acting skills!*
Unbeknownst to the woman, Lee Han Soo slightly grimaced and let out a soft expression with a mix of confusion.
"M-Mom, wh...ere am I?"
His voice sounding groggy and disoriented.
"Your in my embrace and I'm never letting go!"
The woman wiped off the left over tears on her face.
*Nailed it!*
Lee Han Soo excitedly remarked.
Tho the future was uncertain, but something about it felt promising.
