Darkness
I open my eyes and see nothing but darkness.
'Huh where am I.... I was just asleep' rubbing my eyes I start to look at my surroundings and start to panic.
'WHERE AM I. Why can't I see my hands'.
"Cough" Hearing something I turn around sharply to see a old looking man "Who are you?"
Looking apologetic "I am the person who brought you here," The old man said.
Hearing him say that made me confused "Where exactly is here?" I asked.
He gives a sad smile "This is a place that came from your death." He spoke.
My eyes go wide from shocked "W... What? What do you mean by my death I just was just asleep wasn't I?" I asked the last part more to myself.
The old man gives a sad look "Yes you were asleep but the orphanage you were in collapsed. Luckly you were the only casualty from the accident."
I became shocked 'Why did this have to happen to me my life was already terrible and this is just more on top of that.'
"Do not worry child I have brought you here to give you another chance." He spoke
"Thank you but why I haven't done anything remarkable in my life?" I asked.
The old man turned serious "Because the world I'm going to send you to needs help." I looked shocked 'How can I help save a world when I was only 14 when I died.'
"How can I save a world when I'm just an ordinary person?" I asked confused.
He looked at me "I shall grant your abilities when you have unlocked the worlds power."
I started to think "Ok then I'll try to help as much as I can."
He smiled "Good I wish you luck on this journey I'm also going to send you before the world gets hectic to give you time to grow."
He snaps his fingers, and I start to disappear "Goodbye and thank you for this second chance" I say before I fully disappear.
"You are welcome child" he says and smiles
3rd person
"He is a good kid, right? "The Old man says
A shadow comes from behind him
"He is your majesty" The shadow says. "But was it wise not to tell him everything?"
The old man smiles "There is a time when I will tell him. After all I have seen his future, he has lots of hardships coming his way, but he shall prevail."
The shadow looks down "Then I shall give him a gift so he can succeed."
The shadow reaches into the void and forms a weapon then snaps for it to disappear.
"He shall find it when he is on his journey." The shadow says.
The old man smirks "I will be at ease knowing you gave him something of that esteemed value."
"What do we do with the other child your majesty?" The shadow asked.
"He has his own path to follow after all brothers should help each other, right?" The old man said with a smile.
