Synopsis
Dino is a True Demon Lord. Sounds cool, right? Wrong. He’s also the universe’s biggest slacker, a professional napper, and possibly allergic to work. Unfortunately, fate (and an annoyingly talkative voice in his head) has other plans. Now armed with ridiculous powers he never asked for, Dino’s biggest struggle isn’t fighting enemies—it’s fighting the urge to fall asleep mid-plot. From “saving the world” to “accidentally breaking it,” this Demon Lord’s only real goal is simple: find the best spot to nap. Warning: Expect lazy logic, accidental heroics, and a whole lot of “I didn’t sign up for this.”

Chapter 1 - chapter 1: unlucky day of an fallen

Such an unlucky day it was for the true Demon Lord, Dino.

He, who only ever wished to laze around, had just been kicked out of his friend's domain. Worse, by some twist of divine misfortune, he had accidentally absorbed the soul of an otherworlder. That soul had crystallized into a Manas, now lodged firmly inside his mind.

"So… what exactly is your function other than giving me two more Unique Skills?" Dino muttered lazily as he drifted above the Jura Forest. His gaze wandered toward the direction where the Storm Dragon's seal had vanished only a few weeks ago.

(Hey, I can also unseal your Ultimate Skills and evolve your other Unique Skills. Like this—)

[Evolving the Unique Skill Sloth → Ultimate Skill Belphegor, Lord of Sloth]

(And I can also analyze anything, thanks to your new Unique Skill: Reader.)

"Haa… so you unsealed my Ultimate Skills and evolved another one. Now I'm tired. I'm going to sleep," Dino yawned, folding his wings as he dropped onto the branch of a large tree. Within moments, he was dozing off, the voice in his head ignored.

A Few Hours Later…

The Fallen Angel stirred awake, only to be greeted by an indignant shout reverberating in his mind.

(Hey! Do you have any idea how long I had to wait for you to wake up? Hours! I was bored out of my mind!)

"Shut up. You're too loud," Dino replied with his usual lazy drawl.

Still half-asleep, he took to the skies once more. Below him, a small goblin village bustled with activity. He watched with mild curiosity as a strange slime led the goblins to victory against a pack of direwolves—then proceeded to name them one by one before collapsing from exhaustion.

(Hey… do you realize that slime is going to be the main character of future events?)

"And how can you tell?" Dino asked flatly, already losing interest as he glided toward a secluded cave with a pond beside it.

(Because I can read the future. And if we work together, we can change it. Don't you want to?)

"Nah. If the future ends up good, then let it happen. I just want to sleep," Dino said, settling against the cool cave wall.

(In the future I foresaw… you're forced to work.)

Dino's eyes snapped open. "...What do I need to do?"

(First things first—let's test your new Unique Skill. Summon someone.)

"Fine." Dino stood reluctantly, extending his hand as Senric—the Manas—activated [Archivist of Realms].

Magicules twisted around him, fueled by the countless souls Dino had slaughtered over the ages. The air crackled as a figure took form before him: a small girl with long black hair, emotionless eyes, and clothes far too revealing for her age.

(Woah… with the souls you've accumulated, I was able to summon her. A potential fifth True Dragon.)

The World itself confirmed it a moment later.

[A Fifth True Dragon has been born.]

Dino's eyes widened in shock. "...Seriously?"

Omni POV

"...!!!"

A handsome man with burning, rouge-colored hair rose from his throne, blood-red eyes narrowing. The very fabric of existence trembled with the birth of a being whose presence rivaled that of his partner, Velzard.

"Velzard… did you sense that?" asked Guy Crimson, the strongest of the Primordials.

"Yes," replied the icy woman at his side, her voice calm and cold. "Someone has either been born as a True Dragon… or ascended into one."

Guy's lips curled into a grin. "Hah! Hahahaha! At last… decades of boredom finally come to an end."

Meanwhile, in the Eastern Empire…

"Velgrynd, that presence—"

"Yes, Rudra." The Flame Dragon narrowed her eyes. "It feels as though another sibling has emerged… or perhaps even Veldanava himself has returned."

The Emperor of the East clenched his fists, already altering his grand designs.

A new True Dragon had appeared.

And the balance of the world had just shifted.

The little girl blinked slowly, her black eyes like bottomless wells. She tilted her head, looking at Dino as though weighing his worth.

"...You are noisy," she said in a voice as flat as a calm lake. "And weak."

Dino twitched. "Oi, I just brought you into existence. Show some gratitude, will you?"

(Technically, I did all the work. You just stood there like a lazy statue.)

"Not helping, Senric," Dino muttered under his breath.

The girl—no, the dragon—took a step closer, her aura rippling like a tidal wave. Even in her frail-looking body, the weight of her existence pressed down on the cave.

"Name… me," she demanded softly, eyes unblinking. "All True Dragons bear a name."

Dino rubbed the back of his neck, stifling a yawn. "Tch… troublesome. But fine. How about Ophis? It sounds like a name."

"Ophis…" Her lips moved slowly as if testing the shape of the word. For the first time, a faint flicker of emotion—satisfaction, maybe—crossed her blank expression. "Yes. I am Ophis."

(Good choice. It suits her—primordial, serpentine, infinite. Fitting for a True Dragon.)

Ophis stepped closer, her presence sharp enough to cut. "You. Dino. You summoned me. Therefore, you are mine."

"Eh? Oi, don't just go deciding things like that," Dino complained, holding up his hands.

(Hah! Looks like she imprinted on you. Congratulations, you're now the caretaker of a True Dragon loli.)

Dino groaned and slumped against the wall again. "This is the worst… I just wanted to nap…"

Ophis crouched down beside him, staring at his closed eyes as if studying prey. Then, to his horror, she copied him—curling up on the stone floor, closing her eyes in perfect mimicry.

"…Copycat," Dino muttered.

(Well, look on the bright side—she's quiet. For now.)
