Synopsis
José dies in his world… and awakens in Jujutsu Kaisen as Kuro Fushiguro, Megumi’s older brother. But unlike other sorcerers, he possesses the Cursed Eye and the hybrid technique Shadow and Light, which grant him something unique: the ability to travel between worlds. His goal is not to survive—it is to break the canon, save Tsumiki, prevent the tragedy of Shibuya, and stop Kenjaku. To achieve this, he must journey through alternate universes (other mangas, other worlds), where he will train, steal techniques, and face trials that will forge him into someone capable of defying the written destiny.

Chapter 1: The Rebirth of Kuro Fushiguro

"Death was not the end… only the prologue."

---

Silence.

That was the first thing José felt when his body stopped fighting.

No pain, no fear. Just a strange coldness, as if his soul had separated from the flesh and floated between two dimensions.

The last memory was hazy: a dark street, a gunshot, someone screaming his name… and then, nothing.

"This can't be…" he muttered—or thought he did. He had no mouth. No throat. Only thought.

Then, a soft light began sketching the outline of a white space, with neither floor nor ceiling. As if he were trapped inside an endless blank page.

And before him, he appeared.

A man (a god? an entity?) sitting on a throne floating in the void. His outfit was a strange blend of celestial and casual: a white robe with golden details, yet on his feet… sandals.

He wore a smile you couldn't quite decide whether to love or hate.

—Well, you took your sweet time, the man said, looking at him as if he'd known him his whole life. Welcome, José.

—Who… are you? Where am I?

—Name? Call me Goodbye. Some say God, but I prefer something more realistic.

José raised an eyebrow.

—And this is… the afterlife?

—Sort of. Think of it as the waiting room of the multiverse. Here is where your next destination is decided. And, if you're lucky, your reincarnation.

The word reincarnation struck José like lightning.

—Are you saying I can live again?

—With conditions, of course. Nothing is free—not even after death.

Goodbye stood and snapped his fingers. A massive roulette wheel appeared. It was made of dark crystal, etched with golden symbols that gleamed as it spun slowly: names of worlds, dimensions, alternate universes…

—First you spin for the world, Goodbye explained, pointing at the arcade-style lever. Then for the body, then for the technique, and finally I'll grant you a little gift.

José stepped closer. He swallowed hard. His hand trembled as he grabbed the lever.

—Just don't send me to the world of Boku no Pico, please.

Goodbye burst into laughter.

—You've already lost your fear—I like that. Go on, spin.

José pulled.

The wheel whirred, and with it, thousands of symbols flashed before his eyes: Konoha, Hueco Mundo, Namek, Shiganshina…

Until it stopped.

Result: Jujutsu Kaisen.

José exhaled in relief.

—Alright. A screwed-up world, but with possibilities.

—Now for the body, said Goodbye.

A second roulette appeared. This time, names: Sukuna, Gojo, Geto, Nobara…

The arrow stopped at: Toji Fushiguro.

—What…? Toji? You're giving me Toji's body?!

—With his muscles, reflexes, and strength… but without his limitations.

José's expression hardened.

—I don't want to be the original Toji. I'd rather be… I don't know, his brother? A new version?

Goodbye snapped his fingers.

—Done. You'll be Megumi's brother, a copy of Toji… but with your own soul. Your name will be different. But the blood, the memories, and the malice… you'll carry them in your body.

—And cursed energy?

—Unlike Toji… you can wield it.

José felt his skin vibrate. His veins burned, as if power itself wanted to awaken, like a beast slumbering beneath his flesh.

—One last thing, Goodbye said, his voice graver now.

A third roulette appeared. Smaller. Dark, polished. Instead of names, it showed concepts.

Techniques. Inheritances. Curses.

José spun it with a single touch.

Result: Shadow and Light.

—I don't know what it does… he said, half thrilled, half afraid. But it sounds like something that could break curses.

Goodbye nodded.

—It's an ancestral technique. You won't receive pre-established shikigami like Megumi. You'll have to forge your own… by killing your enemies in direct combat. Their souls will be sealed as shadow shikigami. But that's not all…

He stepped closer and placed a hand on José's forehead.

—If you manage to channel reverse cursed energy into one of those shikigami… you'll purify its soul and turn it into a weapon of light.

José's eyes widened.

—Turn shadows into weapons?

—Not just any weapons. Cursed weapons forged through redemption. Absolute power… in exchange for compassion and spiritual mastery.

And just when José thought that was all… Goodbye raised one last finger.

—Your final gift. Something no one else possesses.

José's eyes burned. A deep pang pierced him, as though his very soul were igniting within his pupils.

—I've given you the Cursed Eye.

—What… does it do?

—It allows you to travel between worlds. At first, you won't be able to choose which one. But once you've visited a world, you can return to it. It will also let you take people with you—so long as they aren't stronger than you. And on top of that… it will help you control and shape cursed energy with a precision few will ever achieve.

José couldn't speak. He felt as though his soul were being rewritten.

Goodbye stepped back, already fading away.

—From now on, your name will be Kuro Fushiguro.

—…

—Your story begins now. Try not to die so quickly this time.

And the ground beneath his feet vanished.

José fell. But it wasn't a normal fall. The void fractured around him like a shattered mirror. Through its shards, he could glimpse worlds… wars… creatures… infinite possibilities.

And at the very bottom, waiting for him, the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Dark. Chaotic. Yet with a space reserved…

For light.
