A continuous chant echoed in the vastness of the Heavenly Palace. Winged humanoid fingures descending and landing around a single individual.
"You have committed a grave sin, Nyx. Are you ready for your punishment?" A winged man in shining armor walked behind a kneeling girl. Her wings slowly turning black.
She could only nod. Kneeling and looking at the ground with only her hands supporting her.
"Well then. The Lord has ordered your exile!"
Bright light flashed, and the girl vanished. She fell like a meteor descending to the Earth. No disturbance in the air, no noise, and no malice as she finally entered its atmosphere and landed in a forest, far from any civilization. Smokes around her. Her golden eyes piercing the smoke and her porcelain skin shining like a lit lantern.
"Ugh!" She placed her hand on her head. "What is this... pain?"
And the first time in history, an Angel felt pain. Suddenly, she gasped for air, coughed, and fell on her knees, still gasping for air.
What is this feeling? It's like something entering my body.
And she realized.
"I can't... feel my wings?"
