After birth, Luke was able to wake within a few hours. He learned to fly fifteen days after his birth. He mostly stayed with and spoke to Seraph, a female dragon who raised Luke like a mother.
Luke felt uncomfortable living as a dragon among angels and dragons. In his past life, he had been a vegetarian, and he feared eating meat. He had read novels, light novels, watched anime and movies where dragons always ate meat. But this world was different—here, dragons and angels never ate meat. They only consumed plant-based food and fruits.
He spent six months learning basic things. After that, he began collecting information about the world. He learned many things: the talent levels, skills, power styles, natural lifestyles, survival methods of all creatures. He especially studied human spaces—where they lived, what was happening, their conditions—because he had been human in his previous life.
He wanted to visit the human world, but one of the rules was that no one could travel to another place before reaching ten years of age.
Luke discovered he had two talents: Sun God Physique and All Element Control. Both were SSS-level talents.
Unlike other creatures, angels and dragons didn't need to kill to level up. They grew stronger through training and aging. As long as a dragon or angel enjoyed life, their level would slowly increase. But Luke's Sun God Physique allowed his level to increase rapidly just by being in sunlight. For example, if he stayed on the outer surface of the sun for twelve hours, his level would increase by one. So, as long as he was in sunlight, his level increased faster than other angels and dragons.
He discovered a panel similar to a gaming interface. Only the individual could see their own panel—others couldn't see it. However, everyone could see each other's level.
At the age of five, Luke found out he could transform into angel and dragon forms at will. Angels and dragons were shocked to witness this. They believed that a dying angel had given Luke a great gift before death. All were surprised, but none of them had a strong desire for power. They lived like peaceful villagers—farming, playing, learning, creating. If other beings came to this place, they might think they had arrived in heaven after death.
Luke was born with two talents and a starting level of 10,000, which was unreachable for other creatures. All dragons and angels were born at level 1,000. He later discovered this was due to a failed experiment by the angel Darkon. Darkon had tried to fuse dragon and angel energy but failed, losing his life in the process. His angelic energy blasted through the lab and fused with Luke's egg. As a result, Luke became a hybrid—part angel, part dragon—with the powers of both and two unique talents.
He could freely transform into angel or dragon form. He possessed both types of energy, which represented two different cultivation systems. Angelic energy was related to support and growth, while dragonic energy focused on attack and defense. Even without using their talents, angels and dragons were naturally strong.
Both races were equal in strength—smart, intelligent, kind, and lovers of nature. They had male and female genders and could reproduce like other beings. However, they preferred energy forging, a process where angels and dragons collected a special type of energy to create a new child. This energy was born in them in very small amounts. Through this process, the newborn became powerful and strong. The final energy forging—where energy was collected for a billion years—allowed them to unite and give birth.
They desired peace, not conflict. They were the strongest beings—no one could kill or harm them. So they didn't need to fight or reproduce often. Newborns were only born through the second process. They died only by accident, like Darkon. Angels and dragons could only be killed by each other's hands—no other being was strong enough.
They helped other beings but didn't interfere, believing that greed corrupted everyone. So they only watched and helped those who were free of greed.
Many beings worshipped dragons and angels as gods, demigods, or messengers of the true God. For example: humans, nine-tailed foxes, various birds, monkey-like creatures, and sea dwellers like mermaids, sea-men, snake-men, and other half-human, half-animal beings.
The place where angels and dragons lived was known as the Land of Green Life—a heaven of peace, no death, and eternal safety. It was the safest place for every living being.
