Olivia prepared dinner for that night, but she had forgotten that Luke had taken some food before their journey. He opened his storage box, and from it came many fruits. It was one of the chambers of the storage box. The storage box is similar to Rubik's chambers. There are more than 100,000 chambers, each measuring 100 square meters. In one chamber, Luke had stored enough fruit to eat for a week. Olivia and James were overwhelmed with shock. After finishing dinner, they ate those fruits.
James joked about the fruit. He said to Olivia, "If officials, human powerhouses, or others find out we're eating priceless treasures, they will die with anger." Olivia asked why. James told her that everything belonging to angels and dragons is a priceless treasure, but humans don't realize its value. Olivia asked what happened. James told her to open her status panel. Olivia opened her panel with her mouth wide open—she'd forgotten to close it. She saw that after eating only two fruits, her level had increased from 5 to 50. She realized that eating those fruits could increase levels. She saw her husband's level, which had been 60, had increased to 85.
Olivia asked, "Do you mean our levels increased?" James answered yes, because of the truth property—it has the highest value. "What about our daughter?" Olivia asked. She saw Luna at level 0. James replied that those who don't have any talent cannot increase their level. Luke, who had eaten fruits earlier, told them that there are only ten level-up fruits. He had other fruits with different properties. Level-up fruits need a thousand years to grow, so only ten can exist at a time. That is the same truth.
Olivia ate two fruits and James ate one. Luke gave James an extra fruit and Olivia one more. They divided them into three for mother, three for father, and four for Luna—for her future talent awakening. Olivia asked, "If others find out our levels increased in a few days, won't they be suspicious?" Luke gave them rings—artifacts that hide their original levels. No one can see the level of anyone using the artifact given by Luke.
Olivia and James ate their level-up fruits. James's level rose to 100, and Olivia's level rose to 80. They both used the rings, which reverted their visible levels to the previous ones. Others see James at level 60 and Olivia at level 5. He stored the remaining fruits.
At night, while sleeping, Luna came to Luke's room. Luke asked what was wrong. She told him she wanted to sleep with her big brother. The happy family.
But thousands of kilometers away from City Magma, there was a city known as City Lightning, where all the members of Olivia's family were living. Her father, David, found out that Luke had been adopted by his daughter. Yet the government had no records of him. David was confused why his youngest daughter had adopted an unknown child. He received first-hand information from a spy. David thought she knew where the key was, but she didn't know what the key is or what it is used for. At that time, they discovered there was a different reason for hating Olivia.
The next morning, Olivia and James woke up on time, but Luke and Luna were sleeping like pigs. At 9 AM they both woke up from their deep sleep. Breakfast was cold and dinner was ready. Olivia and James asked about school. James asked, "Do you want to go to school like other kids?" Olivia asked, "Do you need to go to school?" Luke replied, "I want to live like an ordinary child." James asked, "Where do you want to study?" and explained the education system to Luke. He told him about basic education from age 4 to 14: history of the human world, monsters, gates, dungeons and other creatures; mathematics; science; geography; survival tactics; etc. After awakening their talent, they choose higher education for four years. Talent determines which academy they attend in the future. After four years of higher school, they can join government organizations, create their own groups, or continue studying. Luke and Luna went to the same school: Luna in first year and Luke in sixth year.
Next chapter: the journey to the school and friends.
