"Lissandra, how far is the destination town from here?"
Noah flew at Mach 4 in the sky. After his last return, he had slightly improved the suit's propulsion, increasing its speed once again.
"The destination is New Mexico, approximately 3,103 kilometers away. At the current speed, you should arrive in about 36 minutes," Lissandra reminded him.
"36 minutes? That feels a bit long," Noah thought. Although 36 minutes to cross over 3,000 kilometers was already an incredibly fast speed, Noah wanted to try an even faster method.
Noah suddenly stopped, hovering in the sky, then looked up at the heavens.
Go to space! If he could fly out of the atmosphere and reach outer space, then accelerate from there, there would be virtually no resistance in space, allowing for infinite acceleration. If conditions were sufficient, he could approach or even exceed the speed of light. However, Noah needed to consider if he could even fly to space.
"Lissandra, can I survive in outer space right now?" Noah began to ask Lissandra.
"Yes, Noah. I have already equipped the suit with functions for survival in space, so you can safely operate in outer space," Lissandra replied.
"Okay, then I'm relieved."
Upon hearing this, Noah immediately adjusted his direction and shot straight up into the sky.
Troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere—Noah ascended at an extremely high speed. He even had Lissandra transform the leg armor into thrusters to provide greater power. As Noah flew higher and higher, the atmospheric resistance became smaller and smaller, and Noah's speed became faster and faster.
A few minutes later, Noah stopped propelling and turned to look.
At this moment, what greeted his eyes was a beautiful blue Planet. Noah had now fully arrived in space, free from Earth's gravity. The low temperatures and various radiations in space had no effect on Noah, as they were all repelled by the suit.
"I never thought I'd go to space one day. This feeling is so wonderful," Noah thought with emotion as he looked at the beautiful Planet before him. Then, he asked Lissandra to take a picture for him first; this first trip to space was an moment that had to be commemorated.
A portion of the nanomachines separated from the suit's belt, forming a camera. The camera adjusted its position via propulsion, taking a photo of Noah posing.
"Alright, now it's time to go there." Noah retracted the nanomachines, preparing to head to his original destination, the Mjolnir landing site. After all, if he could go to space once, he could go a second time, so there was no need to linger on the beautiful scenery here.
"Lissandra, you're in control now," Noah said to Lissandra. He let Lissandra formulate the flight plan because he wouldn't be able to find his direction or target if he flew himself; he needed Lissandra for precise guidance.
"Okay, Noah."
The bottom of the suit once again transformed into thrusters, beginning to accelerate in space. This time, Noah's flight had no resistance, and he started to accelerate to a terrifying speed. Noah could barely make out the surrounding scenery. Fortunately, the suit was made of Vibranium and would not disintegrate from the impact of high-speed flight.
"We're here, Noah."
Not long after, once Lissandra decelerated, the suit disengaged from that terrifying high speed and hovered in space. Noah also came back to his senses and looked down at the blue Planet below. On the faceplate's display, Lissandra had already marked the destination's location. Noah took one last look at the beautiful scenery of the Universe, then dove directly downwards, entering the atmosphere.
Still a few minutes later, Noah could already see the scene on the ground: the giant crater formed by Mjolnir's landing, which had now been established as a temporary Base by S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel. Noah also saw a man holding a bow and arrow on a high platform. Was this Hawkeye? He seemed to have spotted him?
"Lissandra, help me hack into Coulson's channel." Seeing that the other party seemed about to attack him, Noah first had Lissandra help him establish contact with Coulson, to avoid any trouble.
"Already connected to Coulson's channel."
"Coulson, that's me up there," Noah said directly.
"Noah?"
Upon hearing this, Coulson quickly stopped Hawkeye and the various guards, then rushed to Hawkeye's side.
"Coulson, what's going on?" Hawkeye didn't understand why Coulson was stopping his attack. The person was an unidentified individual, wearing such dangerous-looking high-tech armor.
"Barton, do you remember that little prophet I told you about in the Director's office that day?" Coulson said.
Hawkeye glanced at Noah, who was descending towards them from the sky, then said to Coulson, "Are you sure it's not a little Iron Man?"
Noah landed smoothly beside Coulson and Hawkeye. His helmet retracted, revealing Noah's face.
"Good afternoon, Coulson." Noah greeted Coulson, keeping his head exposed while the rest of his body remained in the suit.
"Good afternoon, Noah. The Director mentioned you would be coming, but I didn't expect you to be so fast. This is Hawkeye Barton," Coulson replied with a smile, then introduced Barton to Noah. However, Coulson felt that Noah should already know Barton, especially since when he mentioned the S.H.I.E.L.D. mole, he specifically told Nick Fury about Barton, himself, and Natasha.
"Hello, Barton, I'm Noah." Noah extended his hand, and the armor on his hand retracted, revealing Noah's hand.
"Hello, Noah," Barton said, shaking Noah's hand.
"Noah, why have you come here?" Seeing the two finish shaking hands, Coulson began to inquire about Noah's reason for being there.
"For this." Noah pointed to the hammer below, then motioned for the two to go down with him. During the process, Coulson also asked Noah about his suit, and Noah used the same explanation he had given Nick Fury to answer Coulson.
The three arrived next to the hammer. All around them were S.H.I.E.L.D. researchers in white coats, busy collecting data on the mysterious hammer. However, many of them, in their haste, stopped in amazement to watch Noah, the stranger in the high-tech suit.
"Do you know the origin of this thing?"
Noah was currently observing Mjolnir in front of him. Coulson, beside him, asked a question, but Noah didn't respond immediately. Instead, he reached out and gripped the handle of Mjolnir, wanting to see if he could lift it. The result, of course, was that he couldn't. After all, before Odin threw it down, Odin had placed a spell on it: only those who were righteous and good, if they could gain Mjolnir's approval, would be able to lift it and gain Odin's Power. But clearly, Noah could not.
Noah was not surprised that he couldn't lift Mjolnir, but he still wanted to make a small attempt. Noah communicated with the World Rune inside him, beginning to channel the Rune Power into his hand. The power of the World Rune began to erupt from Noah's hand, attempting to envelop Mjolnir. Mjolnir, which had been completely still, now began to tremble slightly. However, it wasn't a tremble indicating it was about to be lifted, but rather a tremble caused by a mysterious power surging from Mjolnir, resisting Noah's World Rune Power.
"Officer! Energy readings are constantly rising, they've reached peak value!" a researcher in the nearby laboratory shouted into the channel, looking at the detection display on the screen in alarm.
Inside the meteorite crater at this moment, the intertwining of two energies created a sudden gust of wind around the hammer and Noah. Hawkeye and Coulson, who were closer, began to be pushed back by the wind, covering their faces with their hands to shield themselves from the flying debris.
Far away in Asgard, Odin, the Norse God King undergoing his Odin Sleep, frowned on his tightly closed eyes. He could sense a powerful force invading his son's mjolnir, but since he was currently in Odin Sleep, he couldn't respond very well. He could only activate the Odin Force within the hammer to resist that power.
"Is this power the Odin Force?" Noah, gripping the hammer, now felt a power resisting the invasion of the Rune Power. This power should be Odin's Power, the divine power he used when casting the spell on Mjolnir. At this moment, the Rune Power and Odin's Power were clashing. Noah felt that if he wanted to grind away the divine power within it, given his current mastery of the runes, it would take a considerable amount of time. Thinking of this, Noah withdrew the Rune Power, and the scene returned to calm.
"What did you just do? Noah."
After Noah stood up, Coulson approached him from behind and questioned him. The scene just now had truly shocked him. The temporarily constructed Base had been somewhat disheveled by the strong winds, and many staff members were busily tidying up blown-away documents. Noah felt a bit awkward seeing this scene.
"I just made a small attempt," Noah said, making a gesture of mock anger with his thumb and forefinger.
"Don't you want to know about this hammer? I happen to know a little."
