In a world where the rich are worshipped and the poor serve, slavery, a normalcy that poor families have come to embrace as their only means of survival, Rosa a young boy of 12 finds himself with a family of eight. Poverty is something he sees everyday but without a mother or father, he's sold by his Aunty to the Immortal lands beyond the mortal world.
