"R. I. P. DWAYNE DONLIN" was engraved deeply into the tombstone that was surrounded by several prestigious looking men and women dressed in black. It was a funeral ceremony in honor of the late business tycoon and CEO of the Dwayne corporations.
The first son of the deceased man, Dwayne Zach, stood a few feet away from the rest of the small crowd, his knuckles whitening as he fisted them tighter in his pockets. His eyes fixed on the tombstone of his father. - "You never show weakness no matter the circumstance" one of his father's many words echoed through his mind. So Zach stood with a distant look on his face, masking the thoughts crashing in his head like violent waves.
His father was dead.
The thought stabbed him in the gut like a trident, twisting deeper with every breath he took in.
As his younger brother Sean came to stand beside him, Zach's mind shifted to the changes forthcoming.
The company - the vacant CEO position, the wealth, his father's will. The will that everyone is waiting ever so impatiently to hear.
Zach's jaw tightened while he thought - he already knew how the will would end things and Sean would most likely not take it well.
