Chapter 1 - I've Been Reincarnated [1]

"Huh!"

"Where am I? Where is this place?"

When Sung woo Jin woke up, he found himself on a an unfamiliar be, the first thing he saw was the beaten ceiling. Sunlight streamed through the windows he slowly raised his hand to shield his eyes. Sung woo jin's vision adjusted, he with shock in his eyes stared at his hand his mind swirled with a dozen questions.

*How is this possible?*

Demanding his answers be answered.

*How is this possible? My body is that of a hild's!*

He took in his surroundings. The room was average in size, with wooden wall and thatched roof. It looked nothing like he's morden apartment in Seoul.

"Ouch my head hurts!"

Sung woo Jin tried to sit up straight, but his body was heavy and uncoordinated. His muscles ached like hell , and his head spun. He collapsed back on the bed, feeling disoriented.

*What's going on with me? Could it be that i'm dreaming?*

He pinched his arm to see if he was dreaming.

"Ouch!"

He muttered rubbing the sore spot.

The did not help but, the pain did make him aware of his surroundings.

*No, this is a 100% real!*

He looked around the room again, taking in every detail.

The pain pain left Sung woo jin's body, he sat straight up, this time without a nagging pain. Sung woo Jin rested hi hand on his chin, gathering his thoughts. He was hit with flashes of memories that he did not recognize. Images of a childhood he wasn't familiar with, people he'd never met, of places he'd never been. The memories were fragmented and disjointed.

Sung woo Jin woosaw a woman smiling and hugging him, who seemed to be his mother, along with a group of mischievous rugrets, who seemed to be his friends. A blooming and vibrant village that seemed to be his home. But none of it felt like his own memories. It was like watching someone else's life unfold before his eyes.

The flashes then stopped as suddenly as they began, leaving him disoriented and confused.

*who where those people?*

He scratched his head, with confusion.

Sung woo jin, suddenly paused for a moment, his face frozen with an unreable expression, the corners of his lips curled up into a enigmatic smile as he pieced everything together.

'The body, this strange room and these unfamiliar memories this can only mean...'

"I-I've been reincarnated!"

Sung woo Jin excitedly raised his hand.

Sung woo Jin couldn't contain his excitement. The thought sent a rush of adrenaline through his veins. He was living every Otaku's dream. He took a few deep breaths trying to calm himself down. But it was no use. The excitement was building up inside him.

Creak! Creack! Creack!

The door cracked opened, a woman stepped inside.

She had a kind face, with soft features and beautiful brown eyes and blonde long hair that tied back in a loose bun. She wore a simple yet elegant dress. She locked her eyes on Sung woo jin's direction. Her face lit with mix of shock and joy. She rushed rushed and knelt besides the bed. She tightly held Sung woo jin's hand as sobs cracked racked her body.

"----XXXX----" ("My baby!")

" ----XXX----XXX" ("Thank goodness, I'm so glad, Your awake!")

Her voice muffled, she leaned in for a hug tightly, squeezing his small frame.

Her cries echoed throughout the whole village, her tears fell like rain, and resonated with the weight of her emotions. Sung woo Jin couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed. As he looked at the woman's tear stained face, he immediately recognized the woman.

*She's the woman from those visions earlier. Judging from her actions, she's probably the mother of this kid or atleast someone close. But why was she crying?*

He was dazed at the situation he found himself in.

Sung woo Jin listen to the words, he struggled to make sense of the sounds and syllables. At first it was a jumbled mess, but then, but then somehow the words began to take shape to take shape. The language became clear to him. The words poured into his mind like water.

*She's putting me in a situation where I have to say something, Alright then! I'll use my acting skills!*

Unbeknownst to the woman Sung woo Jin slightly grimaced and let, out a soft expression with a mix of confusion.

"M-Mom, wh...ere am I?"

His voice was groggy and disoriented.

"You're in my arms, and I'm never letting etting go!

Sung woo Jin sighed with relief.

*I guessed right!*

The woman whipped the leftover tears on her face.

*Nailed it*

Sung woo Jin excitedly remarked.

The future was uncertain, but something about it felt promising.
