🌸 Chapter 1: Welcome to the Comfort Zone

––––––––––––––––––––––––

The sky was pink today.

Not the soft glow of sunrise or the golden light of sunset. It was dreamy, pastel, warm, pleasing and reassuring. The same shade it had been since yesterday. And the day before that. And maybe the day before that too.

There was no sun here. No moon.

No sense of time.

And no worries!

In the middle of this pastel world stood a girl with ocean-blue hair and soft, warm eyes the exact same shade of the pink sky above.

Her cyan dress glowed faintly. Her face is sweet and cute, her blue wings folded behind her, but if she unfolded and stretch them, it would be as long as her arms could reach.

She blended into the world around her—like she was a native of it. Her breathe rhythm with the breeze, as if the world itself pulsed with her.

And she smiled.

She always smiled.

"Good morning~! It's another perfect day, and you're doing amazing, sweetie~!" Her voice was light and lyrical, fragile yet pleasant. Like a lullaby singing you to sleep, it was comforting and beautiful.

She crouched beside the small girl seated at the edge of a fountain. The girl was crying, her tiny hands shaking, soft sobs echoed throughout the peaceful air.

"Please don't be sad anymore~ let me take the pain for you. There's no need to cry~" the blue-haired girl whispered gently.

She tapped the girl's forehead with a single finger, and the world shimmered like a pond disturbed by a falling stone. The girl's tears vanished. Her plain clothes melted into a pastel pink dress that sparkles whenever she moved.

"Boop~! Let's forget all the pain, okay~? How about we play the carousel? You love carousel, right~?" She chimed, smiling warmly like a big sister caring for her little siblings.

Reality bent slightly. The soft blue grass blurred into rainbow swirls, and in a blink of a eye–a full carousel appeared without a second delay, as if they both had been teleported but they were in the same spot.

Everything seem more brighter, more Joyful, and more colorful. Like a dream remembered halfway through waking.

Music drifted through the air. The little girl's eyes lit up in joy. A wide smiled bloomed on her face as she excitedly climbed onto a pink-striped horse, forgetting all the pain she experience moment ago.

The blue-haired girl nodded, her ever-present smile still painted perfectly on her face.

"See? Much better. No more scary thoughts, okay~?" The blue-haired girl climbed onto the carousel beside her, patting the child's head in a soft and gentle manner. "No one's here to hurt you. We can stay as long as you want~!"

"We have nothing to worry about~!" She softly spoke, giggling softly as they ride and spun slowly on the carousel beneath the pink sky.

And for a moment, the world was perfect.

This pastel land of comfort and joy–everything is perfect.

This was her life. This was what she chose to do.

She Comforted. She protect. And she repaint sadness into serenity.

She gave hurting souls a place where their hearts didn't have to ache anymore.

Here, in this quiet world of sugar and cake—no one will ever feel sad again.

The guest in this pastel land Nickname her...[ Miss Feather ]
