"I want you." Rocky murmured against her lips, his voice husky with desire, low and intoxicating. His teasing, demanding kisses seemed to crave her heart, her body, her love. His lingering lips trailed from her soft cheeks down to her smooth, pale skin, gently nibbling and tasting.
His warm breath teased every inch of Sophia's skin, heating her from within.
It was like a faint electric current surging through her, stirring a tingling sensation deep inside. The blood beneath her skin began to warm, and a strange restlessness arose in her heart.
His burning hand slipped beneath her clothes, pressing against her skin. So hot!
Her long eyelashes fluttered. Her dazed eyes reflected his handsome face, clouded with desire yet even more captivating. Their breaths mingled softly, creating an ambiguous yet sweet atmosphere.
Her gaze grew more scattered and confused. The pent-up desire within her made her want to scream.
He smiled with satisfaction…
Just as they were about to press tightly against each other, Sophia jolted awake.
Where was this? She glanced around blankly. It was her room.
Rapid breathing, racing heartbeat, restless body, tense nerves… It all felt incredibly real, yet she was lying safely in her own bed.
Was that just a dream?
She lifted the covers to confirm her clothes were still perfectly intact, then relaxed slightly.
She had actually dreamed that she and Rocky were… being intimate. The images from the dream remained vividly clear in her mind, and her face flushed again.
Heavens! A sensual dream!
Was she that unsatisfied?
Suddenly, she remembered Rocky, who had stayed and slept in her bed last night. Turning her head, she saw the large gray wolf he had transformed into sleeping soundly beside her.
Was it because he shared her bed that it stirred her inner longing for him, leading to that intimate dream?
Or had his usual teasing and caresses awakened the dormant desires within her?
Staring blankly at the large wolf beside her, a wave of tenderness slowly surfaced and overwhelmed her heart. Because he was Rocky, no matter what form he took, she loved him!
Sophia reached out and gently stroked the soft, long gray fur. When she accidentally looked up, she met a pair of deep green eyes. Startled, she quickly withdrew her hand.
When had he woken up?
Rocky nuzzled her hand with his face, a mix of tenderness and mischief.
Then, his body began to change subtly, bit by bit, returning to human form.
Sophia was stunned.
"Do you want to kiss me?" He gazed at her with a smile.
"Didn't you promise you wouldn't change back in the middle of the night?" If she remembered correctly, he was completely naked right now.
Instantly, she froze like a statue.
His eyes glanced toward the window, and he reminded her leisurely, "It's morning now."
"But you're not wearing any clothes!" She didn't dare look around or move, afraid she might see or touch something she shouldn't.
Completely unfazed, he propped himself up, revealing his sexy, well-defined chest, and leaned in slightly to kiss her.
Sophia quickly pressed down on the covers. "Don't—don't get up."
But in her fluster, her hand accidentally pressed right against his most sensitive area through the thin blanket, though she remained completely unaware.
Rocky's green eyes gradually darkened. He cleared his throat lightly to alert her.
Ah! Sophia was startled and, at the same time, felt his body reacting. She pulled her hand back as if burned, her face flaming red as she lowered her gaze, not daring to look at him.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to," she apologized repeatedly.
He teased her lowered head. "Even if you did it on purpose, it's fine."
She lifted her head abruptly. "I wasn't!"
"But I am."
"Marry me."
He adored the feel of her skin under his palm and loved the sweet taste of her kisses, but what he wanted even more was to be intimately closer to her.
Rocky was stopped before he could climb the stairs.
By Susan and Jennifer.
"What's up?" He slowly glanced at them, his heart sinking.
He hadn't done anything lately that warranted a confrontation, had he?
Susan didn't beat around the bush. "You owe Sophia an explanation, don't you?"
An explanation? What explanation? Rocky was baffled. "I don't really understand what you mean."
"I heard from Kent that you not only kissed her but also shamelessly touched her all over. Is that true?" Susan glared at him.
"And this morning, someone saw you coming out of Sophia's room with just a thin blanket wrapped around your waist," Annie added.
The news sure traveled fast. Rocky didn't deny it.
Not denying meant admitting it. Jennifer stated matter-of-factly, "Since you've already been intimate with Sophia, you should take responsibility."
"Wait." He called for a pause.
"What now?" Susan's fierce gaze immediately shot toward him. "Trying to shirk responsibility?"
Annie also glared at him.
"Who said I was intimate with Sophia? I don't remember that at all!" What a huge injustice! Though he certainly wanted to, he hadn't.
"Didn't?!" Susan sneered.
How could a man and a woman alone in a room all night not have anything happen? And he wasn't even wearing clothes.
Unless… he had some unspeakable issue.
"No." Rocky answered firmly.
"Didn't you sleep in Sophia's room last night?" Jennifer shot him a sidelong glance.
"Yes." He answered truthfully.
"And did you walk out of her room with just a thin blanket wrapped around you?" she continued.
"Yes." That was also true.
Susan's eyes were full of condemnation. "You don't want to get married, so you're just toying with her, is that it?" She already had a throwing knife ready to go.
A man who played with women's hearts was no good!
Seeing the throwing knife in Susan's hand, if he didn't explain clearly, he would surely die a gruesome death.
"Before sentencing me to death, shouldn't you hear my explanation?" He kept an eye on Susan's throwing knife.
Susan crossed her arms. "Go on."
"I did share a bed with Sophia last night—"
Before he could finish, he already saw Susan's dagger-like gaze stabbing sharply at him. "But at that time, I was in wolf form beside her, so naturally, nothing could happen. When I changed back to human form in the morning, I couldn't exactly walk back to my room naked, could I? That's all there is to it."
Susan believed him. "Then what about kissing her and touching her all over?"
"Susan, you don't need to bother matchmaking me and Sophia anymore—hey!" Rocky dodged a flying knife in a panic, jumping aside.
"Susan, don't be impulsive! Let me finish speaking first."
That was way too dangerous!
Rocky quietly took a step back, feeling slightly more secure, then hurriedly explained, "What I mean is, we're already together, so there's no need to matchmake us anymore."
Susan stared at him for thirty seconds. "Really? Not like the fake boyfriend strategy before?"
"No, I've truly fallen in love with her," he admitted.
"Then will you marry her?" Annie got to the key point.
Of course. "As long as she agrees to marry me." He was just waiting for her answer now.
Susan said delightedly, "You've already proposed to her?"
"Yes! This morning." A smile hung on his lips. He was determined to have her for life.
He hoped he could hold out until their wedding night to be intimate with her.
Susan patted his shoulder hard. "Good job, kid! Not bad at all!"
At night.
Sophia woke up once again drenched in sweat, her whole body burning.
Beside her, Rocky, still in wolf form, slept.
Darn it! What was going on?
This was already the third time she'd had that kind of dream, and each time she woke up at the critical moment.
She felt like a pervert, frequently having sensual dreams. Every time she woke up after the climax, she longed for him even more.
"Did you have a nightmare?" Rocky, who had woken up at some point and transformed back into human form, reached out to wipe her sweat.
She gave him a strange look, unsure whether to say it. Would he laugh at her if she did?
"Talking about it might help." He looked at her gently.
Hesitating for a moment, she said seriously, "You have to promise not to laugh at me before I'll tell you."
He raised his right hand and swore, "I promise I won't laugh. Can you tell me now?"
Sophia bit her lip and said in a very small voice, "Lately, I've been having very strange dreams." Before she even finished, her face was already red.
"What kind of dreams?" he asked unhurriedly.
Her voice grew even softer. "Sensual dreams."
Oh! Sensual dreams. Rocky showed no reaction at first, but the next moment, he bolted upright in bed. Sensual dreams!
"Who did you dream about?" He looked as if facing a great enemy.
Could it be that, deep down, she had fantasies about some other man? That wouldn't do!
She glanced at him. "Who else would it be but you?"
Instantly, the tension in his heart turned into overwhelming joy. "What happened in the dream?" He couldn't laugh now.
Sophia lowered her long eyelashes. "I dreamed we were being intimate." Her cheeks were burning.
Amusement flickered in Rocky's green eyes. "Oh?"
Alright, if she was going to be embarrassed, she might as well get it all out at once.
"Every time I wake up at the critical moment, I feel all hot, my breathing gets rapid, and I want to… touch you." Saying these words felt like torture.
Rocky smiled. "This is completely normal. There's no need to feel embarrassed. Both men and women have physical desires. Because you love me, you long for me, just like I long for you." He took her soft hand and placed it on his bare chest.
She looked up doubtfully. "What are you doing?" Under her palm was his warm skin and broad chest.
"You can explore my body as much as you want, but only mine." He wouldn't allow her to be interested in any other man's body.
"I only have feelings for you," Sophia admitted honestly.
This was the first time she had ever felt this way.
Feeling her soft, exploring hand begin to wander across his chest, he smiled faintly and whispered, "I wouldn't mind having our wedding night early."
He would be more than happy to.
