Chapter 1 - The Stranger in the Cafe

Episode 1 – The Stranger in the Café

Scene 1: Hero returns and plans to meet friends

Jinwoo finally returned from abroad after many years.

His friends wanted to celebrate his homecoming and sent him the location of a cozy café in the city.

Scene 2: Heroine at work

Inside the café, Yuna moved gracefully between tables.

Young, kind, and beautiful, she worked tirelessly, serving every customer with a warm smile.

Scene 3: Hero enters café

Jinwoo stepped in quietly, wearing a mask, and chose a corner seat to wait for his friends.

He watched the café bustling with activity, noticing Yuna's diligent work.

Scene 4: Trouble arrives

Suddenly, a group of drunk men stumbled in, loud and unruly.

One of them reached for Yuna while spilling his drink on her.

She tried to remain calm, but fear flashed in her eyes.

Scene 5: Hero saves heroine

Before the men could do more, Jinwoo stood up.

He stepped forward and draped his jacket over Yuna to shield her.

Yuna whispered softly, adjusting the jacket:

"I… I'm sorry about them."

Then she returned inside to make another order.

Scene 6: Hero defends heroine

Jinwoo, however, wasn't done.

He confronted the drunk men, showing the bills and CCTV footage as proof.

The men were embarrassed in front of everyone.

With quiet intensity, he said:

"You don't treat her like a servant. She isn't just a maid. Kindness, honesty, and heart… that's real respect. Money can't buy that."

Scene 7: Hero leaves unexpectedly

Just then, his phone buzzed. One of his friends had sent the wrong location.

Jinwoo left quickly, disappearing before Yuna could even thank him.

Scene 8: Heroine wants to thank hero

Her friend nudged her.

"That man… he helped you today. You should thank him."

Yuna stepped outside, but Jinwoo was already gone.

Scene 9: Heroine reflects

Her friend showed her a picture she had taken—but it was only his back.

Even the CCTV footage revealed only a masked figure wearing a hat.

Yuna's heart ached, a mix of gratitude and longing.

I may not have seen his face clearly… but I won't forget him.
