After crafting the fishing rod and making my way to the lake, I cast my fishing line in and sat down waiting for a bite.
The fishing rod was a rather simple design with a wooden rod as its' core and the spider string as the fishing line with a reels and and bobber attached.
I don't know how the reel and bobber is made, from simply combing 3 sticks and 2 string.
"Can't complain, I now have a decent fishing rod to use."
Casting the line and waited, Rin and the others were playing around and swimming in the water. C.C. on the other hand was laying on my lap.
Look like 4 fishes wouldnt be enough and I definitely should catch a lot more.
Not even a minute later, I saw some bubbles approaches my bobber and---
*Snatch*
My line got a bite and I went into action and began reeling in the line and yanking the rod out of the water.
*Sploosh*
The fish broke out of the water and onto land.
The fish caught C.C. attention and I giv in and gave the fish to her.
After about an hour or 2 of fishing, I got a rather incredible haul but I can't say the same for my poor fishing rod now.
After the last catch the entire fishing rod shattered.
"I guessed this is what a breaking mechanics look like."
"Can't really complain because I received a really good haul today."
"I wonder would a fishing rod from another world would work or it's only for the fishing rod here with some kind of magical power."
From the hauls, I caught about 25 assorted fishes from cod, salmon, and others.
Also in the haul was so rather confusing stuff such as a 2 bows another fishing rod but this one's is shimmering in some kind of purple light.
"It's probably enchanted but I don't know what it is."
Seeing some strangest runish carving on the rods and remembering that there was a translation for each rune in Minecraft.
I had the system discern the enchantment, and after I second; I found that it was enchanted with Lure 2.
Fishing could become an addiction for me with this rod. I definitely need to watch out.
Unfortunately, I also caught some junk items such as bones, lillypad and even rotten flesh.
I immediately tossed the rotten flesh somewhere far away into the distance, no I'm not that stupid to throw it in to the water and possibly contaminate it.
The prized of my haul was 5 enchanted book. Using the system translator, I got
some pretty bad enchantment like thorns 1, fire protection 1, and curse of binding.
But I did manage to catch a power 5 books and infinity 1 which is an absolute blessing for a gunman like me, especially the infinity book.
A/N: Minecraft enchantments uses standard galactic alphabet so I used that premises for the system to be able to translate Minecraft glyphs and runes.
