As the fifth wave rapidly approaches, the villager hastily killed the last of the attackers fromt he fourth wave and hastily reformed up and braced for the next impact.
Among the new approaching forces was the usual ravagers, but this time there was 4 of them charging at the village.
The golems like before confronted the ravagers each taking one on.
But due to the fifth wave coming a lot quicker than expected, there was not time for the blacksmith to repairs the damage golems on top of the hastily patched damage from the third wave.
Unfortunately during the ravager's charge, a golem was impaled by one of the ravager's horn and was swiftly taken by the ravager's momentum.
The golem quickly responded by repeatedly bashes at the back of the revenger's neck eventually breaking it and killing the ravager.
It soon pushed itself off of the avengers horn and began slowly making its' way back to the battlefield.
Half of the golem's left arm had broken off and there were crack throughout the surface of its body. It was clear that the golem didn't have long.
As it made it ways back to the battle, instead of going to help the other golems in dealing with the remaining ravager. It went for the main pillagers force that was approaching.
The golem crashed threw the formation thrashing and pummelling the attacking pillagers turning the into unrecognizable messes.
As the golem was rampage, a row of deathly jaws full of jagged teeth erupted from the ground catching anyone unfortunate enough to be in its' way.
The jaw snapped on one if the golem leg before biting down on it and crushing it.
Having one of it legs crushed, the golem lost balance before falling on a group of pillagers crushing them underneath.
Soon, more and more pillagers piled onto the golem and hacked at it causing more cracks to forms before exploding into fragments like a grenade taking any pillager in its' immediate down with it.
As I was watching this, I spotted a pillager with a dark robe and gold near the chaos raising his srms into the air.
Before long, 2 blue translucent wisp like winged creatures began materializing and in its' hand is a sword.
Seeing the attack pattern and summoning of the wisps like creature flying in the air.
I quickly recognized that the person was an evoker and a really dangerous one seeing howit could bring down a golem, although perhaps an injured golem.
An evoker is still dangerous. Even in the game during raid, especially now that it had spawned vexes which is just as dangerous.
Seeing the danger in an evoker appearing, I made it my priority to kill the evoker.
Swiftly aiming my rifle and ranging the distance, I pulled the trigger---
*Psshh*
and sent a round right at the evoker, hitting him in the neck.
The evoker clutches his throat before spatting out a mouthful of blood and evetually falling to the ground bleealding out.
This caused some panics in the pillagers rank, unsure of how their captain had died.
