As the third horn blared and the third wave approaches, I could see some of the villager already tired.
Along with the pillager and vindicator like the last 2 waves. This time, they are joined by 2 ravagers and another person wearing a purple robes and a pointed black hat.
Realizing that was a witch, I decided to assist a little to lightened up some of the burden on the defender.
The third wave soon came bashing into the defensive line. The golems took on the 2 ravagers, ganging up on a 2 versus 1 each.
This left the village guards slightly weaken since the golems are now preoccupied.
The guards made up for it by using the captured crossbow and fired at the pillager just before they made contact.
Was it effective? To some extent, yes, yes it was effective in staggering the pillager a little.
The witch stayed back a little and her face was rather ugly compared to human standard and I could see some warts on her nose similar to the witch from the game.
She soon reached into her robe and pull out a glass bottle with an ominous green liquid inside.
Having already ranged the distance and aligned my reticle on her head a fired a shot---
*Psshh*
into her head just as she threw the bottle.
This caused the bottle to tumble a bit and incidently crashed into the back of a few pillagers causing them to tumble to the ground and scream in agony, clearly being poisoned or something.
"That work better than I had hope, a 5 for 1 shot."
On the other side, the golems and ravagers were in a heated brawl with one golem wrestling the ravager before grabbing the ravager and tossing it into the air making it land on the ground
Another quickly approaches the down ravager and began pummelling it into the ground the golem that had initially tossed it also soon came over and began tag team the ravager.
Before long both ravagers stopped moving and the golems made it ways back to the contact line and began pummelling the pillagers and vindicator from behind.
The third wave eventually came to a close with the defender on top, but it wasn't a flawless victory one would have hope.
The villager fought valiantly but some had taken seriously injury and had to be pulled to the back to be treated by the village priest.
A shield man was killed in the fight and was soon replaced by another villager who took up his sword and shield before joining up with the front.
The golem weren't unscathed either with 2 of them having small visible cracks and dent in their iron armor.
The blacksmith patched up what he could, but soon, the fourth horn blared signaling the fourth wave.
