Leylin returned to his room and retrieved his drawing tools: a pencil and a sheet of magic ink paper.
After taping the magic ink paper onto a simple drawing board, Leylin extended his hand to Alleria, signaling her to sit down and wait.
Alleria sat demurely on a wooden chair in the garden, her lips curled slightly, her posture fixed.
"Is this good enough for you?" Alleria asked cautiously.
"Absolutely yes. Just a moment, it'll be done soon." Leylin gestured with an "OK" gesture.
Before arriving in this world, Leylin had a wide range of hobbies: comics, reading, and gaming were all integral to his daily routine. These pursuits, considered useless by the older generation, became practical in this fantasy world. If nothing else, at least they could make girls happy.
Leylin poured his thoughts into the drawing paper, and in a few seconds, a comic version of Alleria appeared on the paper. The cute version of Alleria had large, sparkling eyes and a lovely face.
Though her proportions had changed considerably, her demeanor and appearance perfectly matched the girl sitting across from Leylin.
Luckily, he'd been idle for years while checking his system. The system he awakened was simple, it was called Sign In System. Leylin signs into different locations and receives a wide variety of rewards.
Leylin has only signed in four different locations and got these rewards:
[Bending Arts – Rare (Silverpine Forest)]
[Sage Body – Legendary (Tirisfal Glades)]
[Cooking Skill – Rare (Hillsbrad Foothills)]
[Knowledge Comprehension – Rare (Alterac Mountains)]
Leylin paused, still lost in thought, when Alleria softly asked, "Leylin, are you done? Keeping this posture is tiring."
Recovering, Leylin removed the magic paper and said, "Yes, I'm done."
Alleria took it with a chuckle, admiring the elf in the drawing intently.
"So cute, but are my breasts that big?" Alleria asked softly, her cheeks flushing.
"This is called comics, so a little exaggeration is normal. But then again, your breasts aren't small either," Leylin replied honestly, glancing at Alleria's breasts.
"Don't say that! My sister would be furious if she heard that." Alleria blushed. In Silvermoon City, no male elf dared to speak to her like that.
Leylin said brazenly, "I'm just being honest. I simply admire beautiful women. Nothing else."
Alleria glanced at Leylin hesitantly, then carefully rolled up the magic seal and placed it inside her magic bag. "You draw beautifully! Now I understand why she likes you so much. If it were me, I'd be captivated by you, too." Alleria chuckled softly, her beautiful eyes curved into crescents.
Though Leylin was thick-skinned, Alleria's praise made his face, which hadn't blushed in years, suddenly flush. "Alleria, I'd be so proud if you said that."
Alleria placed her fair hand on her lips, smiled softly, and blinked her beautiful eyes. "So, you know my name? I thought you didn't."
"Your little sister told me that you're the eldest sister, Alleria, and the second sister is Sylvanas, right?" This wasn't something my little sister told Leylin, it was clearly something he knew himself.
My little sister had never told him about her two sisters; she didn't want other girls to distract Leylin from her.
"You know it all. It's getting late, and I have to go back. Get ready and report to Silvermoon City tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. You can come visit me while you're there. If I don't see you again, I'll be at odds with you again." Alleria tied the basket of apples to the dragonhawk's feet and, with a light leap, leaped onto its back.
Stroking the dragonhawk's head, it let out a few low cries, then, crawling from its prone position, took flight.
"Goodbye, Leylin." The dragonhawk soared into the air, slowly disappearing from Leylin's sight.
After seeing Alleria off, Leylin didn't remain idle. That afternoon, a special mage returned to his cabin.
This mage was the last in line at the Dalaran School of Magic, and a poor student in the eyes of the Kirin Tor Council. But in the eyes of Leylin and a certain archmage, this mage possessed a charm that no one else possessed.
In the afternoon, a clear, rosy glow swept across the west coast, casting a warm hue across Silverpine Forest.
Leylin, quietly working on his manuscript in his cabin, heard a dull knock on the door.
This kind of knock was unique to mages wearing leather gloves.
"Come in."
The young wizard pushed open the door and entered. His attire was rather untidy, his collar turned inwards, his chest covered in dust, and a gap at his shoulder, revealing his white shirt.
The traditional impression of a wizard is that he is clean and tidy, and that a single spell is all it takes to defeat an opponent. This wizard, however, always seemed to be synonymous with dirtiness and messiness.
He had met this wizard a year ago, when gnolls attacked his orchard. Fortunately, this wizard arrived just in time and saved him from the trouble of killing the gnolls.
To repay this wizard, Leylin let him stay overnight in his orchard. After a conversation, they felt they had met too late, and they became close friends, a friendship they have held ever since.
Every month, this wizard returned to Leylin's cabin to take Leylin's novels and comics, and to bring him new octopus ink, magic paper, and some magic books.
"Last month, the first volume of 'The Lord of the Rings' you wrote was a huge hit at the Dalaran School of Magic. Now almost everyone knows about the novelist with the pen name 'Tolkien' How's the second volume coming? Is it finished?" the mage asked, jumping straight to the point.
The reason for the pen name 'Tolkien' was because he was a big fan of J. R. R. Tolkien and his works. That's why he wants to give homage to this great writer.
"Of course, it's finished. You still don't trust my update speed?" Opening the drawer, Leylin took out nearly a hundred sheets of magic printing paper. This was the manuscript of the second book.
The young wizard took the manuscript, smiled knowingly, and a happy expression appeared on his face. "I will use up all my magic power tonight and strive to have this second book on sale at the Magic Academy the day after tomorrow."
Magic printing paper is a special paper that can omit tools such as printing presses and can be directly copied with magic.
The young wizard took out a bag made of linen from the magic package, which was filled with gold coins.
Taking it, Leylin weighed it and thought: At least 100 gold coins, the remuneration is not bad.
"I'll come to pick up the comics next week. Remember not to delay the manuscript. Otherwise, those beasts will eat me." The wizard shrugged and said.
After eating the apple pie, the wizard was about to leave. Before leaving, the wizard came up to Leylin in an extremely obscene manner and said: "Ahem, Leylin, can you write some novels like that? I believe that this kind of novel will sell better."
As a decent writer, such a despicable thing goes against his professional ethics.
"That won't do. I am a writer with professional ethics. Besides, if you want to continue to stay in Dalaran to learn magic, I advise you not to have those crooked ideas."
"Forget it, I won't talk to you anymore. You should also take a good look at those magic books. This time, I found that the magical energy around you is very obvious. It seems that you are about to comprehend the magical energy." The young wizard released the magic eye to explore the magical energy surrounding Leylin.
"Really?"
"Of course, I trust the judgment of a professional mage."
Leylin took an apple pie from the kitchen and handed it to the mage, saying, "Eat it on the way. It's not that far from here to Alterac Mountains."
After taking the apple pie, Rhonin put it in a magic bag and said, "I'm saving this for the academy. Hehe. The academy restaurant doesn't have anything as delicious as this."
"Rhonin, be careful on the way."
"Don't worry, as a mage, ordinary monsters and thieves wouldn't dare to target me," Rhonin said confidently.
