Using a white hawkstrider for transportation, Leylin and the ranger beside him arrived at Eversong Woods.
Unlike the cold and quiet Ghostlands, Eversong Woods was warm, perhaps due to the radiant light of the Sunwell to the north. The breeze, forests, and meadows here all carried a warm undertone.
The vibrant colors of the leaves, the streamlined domes floating in the sky. Having long observed the predominantly human architecture, Leylin was deeply captivated by this land.
"You came here because of Vereesa, right?" her tone was stiff, but her meaning was clear. The ranger was deeply disgusted by Leylin's proximity to Vereesa.
Leylin didn't rule out his feelings for his younger sister, but he hadn't come here solely for Vereesa.
"That's half right. I also came here to learn magic," Leylin replied seriously.
"Sylvanas Windrunner, Vereesa's second sister, I appreciate your honesty. But I must remind you that elves and humans are destined to be impossible. Your human lifespans are too short, and such a love isn't worth it." Sylvanas glared at Leylin coldly.
Leylin couldn't help but smile. "My younger sister didn't tell me her second sister had ever been in love. But what you said is quite sentimental. No wonder some people say women are emotional creatures, always so understanding of love."
Sylvanas snorted coldly, tilting her head forward. "As the Ranger-General of Silvermoon, my first priority is to defend Silvermoon City. Love is always an afterthought. It's the same for me and my sisters."
"What do you mean by saying so much?" Leylin asked succinctly.
"Stay away from Vereesa and study your magic well." Sylvanas protected Vereesa like a mother.
Leylin sighed and said nothing more.
Walking along the avenues of Eversong Woods, Leylin felt the unique magical atmosphere here.
He seemed to sense the magical radiance from the north, like another sun, radiating its light and warmth throughout Eversong Woods.
The magical energy here was nearly ten times richer than that of Silverpine Forest. No wonder the elves here are so talented in magic.
Finally arrived, Silvermoon City.
Before he could even take in the grandeur of the city, the white hawkstrider had already carried Leylin inside. Sylvanas took Leylin to the residence of a Grand Magister named Belo'vir Salonar and then departed.
Reflecting on Sylvanas's past, Leylin shrugged. It turned out she had always been this bad-tempered. That line of thinking was a bit foolish. Perhaps Sylvanas simply took offense at Leylin, leading to her cold attitude towards him.
Leylin didn't know this teacher named Belo'vir. Sylvanas had told him to wait, so he could only wait and quietly signed in his system.

"Now that is a good one." Leylin quietly whispered after checking his reward and having nothing else to do, Leylin took a seat and began to look around the house.
On the table lay a double-edged sword, glowing purple. Curious, Leylin picked it up.
"This double-edged sword has no blade. Strange!"
Touching the blunt blade, Leylin's expression changed, his facial muscles tensing.
He felt as if something had been drained from his body: the air in his lungs, the blood in his heart, or perhaps even his magical energy?
Drained? No magical energy left at all?
Panting, Leylin found a wooden chair and sat down, trying to absorb magical energy once again.
"What an active young man." The tall elf patted Leylin on the shoulder and said with a smile.
"Who are you?" Leylin stood up and asked.
"Belo'vir, a grand magister. Uh, you'd better sit down first. You just touched the magic-breaking blade. I believe you don't have much magic power left. As a mage, I can understand the feeling of a mage overdrawing magical energy." Belo'vir pressed Leylin's shoulder and asked Leylin to sit back on the wooden chair.
Looking into Belo'vir's eyes, Leylin realized that the magister in front of him was so powerful. This feeling cannot be described. Just through the exchange of eyes, Leylin felt like pressure so powerful, looking so small in front of Belo'vir.
Seeing Leylin's surprise, Belo'vir waved his hand and said, "Don't be afraid. When you reach this level of mastery in magic you could normally produce this kind of pressure. It is like a sign which shows how far your mastery is as a mage."
"Thank you," Leylin said, as if he had been pardoned.
"I heard from Rommath that you are the owner of the Malden Orchard? You don't look very old. Do you manage the orchard alone?" Belo'vir chatted with Leylin.
His kind tone seemed to bring Leylin back to human society. Leylin felt a sense of protection from this magister.
"Yes, I've been taking care of it since my parents died."
"Very good. The fruit from the Malden Orchard is perfect for us high elves. After practicing magic, it's a blessing to be able to eat the fruit you cultivate. It seems to have a magical power and a sweet taste that can even make us old mages forget the taste of magic," Belo'vir praised.
Old? Elves are generally long-lived, so Leylin was not surprised.
Belo'vir found a wooden chair inlaid with a sun pattern and sat across from Leylin.
"Rommath told me you wanted to come here to study magic, and in exchange, you offered a year's worth of free fruit."
"Yes, that's right."
"What was your first experience in Quel'Thalas?" Belo'vir asked.
"It felt full, like I was enveloped by a magical aura," Leylin answered truthfully.
Belo'vir nodded, acknowledging Leylin's words. "Yes, what you felt was correct, but it wasn't actually accurate. You felt the radiance of the Sunwell."
"Tell me about your understanding of magic, or rather, what your perspective on magic is."
This baffling, seemingly unrealistic question was like someone asking themselves, "What is your ideal?
"A potential magical energy, like air, omnipresent and usable by intelligent beings." This was something Leylin had heard Rhonin describe before, and applying it to his own understanding was his own.
Belo'vir narrowed his eyes, as if pondering.
"It's vague, not precise enough. Have you given this magical energy a concrete form? For example, is its source a well of water?"
Was this a reference to the Well of Eternity? Leylin wondered.
"If possible, I'd like to believe it. According to you, the magical energy of our world stems from the explosion of this well, which dispersed the energy across the world and entered our lives." Leylin finished his words in one breath.
Belo'vir's blue eyes suddenly opened, a blazing glint in their searing gaze, as if a storm of magical power was lurking.
"Very good! Your unique perspective on magic astounds me. Now, I'm your teacher. If a guy named Rommath comes looking for you, just tell him I'm teaching you." Belo'vir smiled at Leylin with satisfaction.
