"Hm~hm~ la la la~",I was humming as I got a really great news just two minutes ago.
"Hey Lara, what's got u so happy?",my bestfriend,Lia, who is also my co-worker asked me.
"My favourite novel which was in hiatus has finally returned!! I can't wait to read the conclusion!!",I squealed in happiness as I shared the news to her.
I work as an employee aka "slave" in a corporate company with my bestfriend since middle school and although the pay is well, our boss works us day and night which resulted in our exhaustion but as soon as I got to know about the return of the novel I have been obsessed with, all my exhaustion turned to pure bliss.
"Well,I am happy that u are happy but I think it will be better if u finish ur work first, the boss is coming this way",Lia said pointing towards a disaster coming towards us.I made an annoyed face and started working.
~night time~
I came to my apartment after my work was finished for the day. I quickly took a shower and lied down on my bed with my phone. I clicked on the novel "Moonvile" and started reading it while munching on some chips.
After a while, I finished reading the last chapter and god was I crying. I was crying because my favourite novel just concluded.
It was a really long novel. It has been ongoing for almost 6 years and I have been here since the beginning reading it. I am a hardcore fan of "Moonvile".
Moonvile, the novel is of my all time favourite werewolf genre. It follows the story of a strong willed female lead who got into a prestigious academy called Moonvile academy. The female lead as most of the other werewolf stories has no wolf aka a human which are considered weak among the werewolves. Despite being treated as shit by the werewolves,she made a community within the academy consisting of humans which was soon joined by some werewolves as well who were impressed with this strong and smart human.
It was a classic reverse harem enemies to lovers with four love interests who first hated the female lead for resisting them and not bowing to them despite being a "weak human" but soon that hatred turned to interest and the into possession and love. They got into a poly relationship which is apparently quite common within the werewolves.
It was quite cliché but I have been reading it for quite a while which made a have quite an emotional attachment to it. "I can't believe it's over", I sniffled.
I cried myself to sleep. I heard a 'ding' from my phone but I ignored it. As I was closing my eyes I saw the display of my phone with the words 'WELCOME' and my eyes closed.
I opened my eyes with a soft groan. I rubbed my eyes and saw that my apartment had turned quite big compared to yesterday. "Wow, my bed seems softer compared to yesterday", I said caressing the bed sheets and then realisation hits.
I AM NOT IN MY APARTMENT!!!
"H-have I been kidnapped? Haha no wait I am not that rich, who would even kidnap me?", I was panicking but soon someone knocked on the door,"maam, breakfast is ready", a female voice came. I snapped my head towards the door 'is it the kidnapper but why are the calling me maam?'.
"Maam", the female voice came again and at that moment my stomach rumbled 'i will worry about everything later first I wanna eat'. "Yes, I am coming", I said and the I heard footsteps disappearing.
I got up the bed and saw a mirror. I wanted to check for any bed hairs so I walked towards the mirror. 'they game me quite a nice room considering I am kidnapped' I thought and then I raised my head to the mirror to see my reflection but what I saw left me speechless
