It started with pain.
A migraine like a railroad spike driven through my skull, two sets of memories fusing together. My life as Marcus Diaz — twenty-something, dead before my time — and a new one, Hyoudou Issei, a pervert and harem king enthusiast.
Looking through the memories, I saw the time spent playing with Irina, the bittersweet moment when she went abroad, and the day at the park where I met an old man preaching about the wonder of the female form and its bountiful nature.
As a child, that stuck with me. It gave me something to focus on while my friend was away, probably doing exorcist stuff.
I stumbled into the bathroom. The mirror reflected a boy with messy brown hair and an annoyingly average face. Hyoudou Issei. Me. Not the most handsome guy in the world, but definitely not the face I remembered shaving in my twenties.
Now a 2nd-year at Kuoh Academy and at the start of the school year, I dreaded finding myself here — even though the main series was a Ecchi harem anime. I couldn't stop thinking about dying and being reincarnated as a devil.
I am Issei Hyoudou, but with Marcus's memories. They gave me an idea of what could happen in the future.
Battling, more battling, and more oppai. I smirked slightly as I imagined Rias Gremory's oppai.
I shook my head and refocused. Marcus's memories might give me knowledge of the future, but there was no guarantee things would play out the same way. It could be AU, or something twisted where everything was reversed.
I needed to do my best to survive and become strong. I slapped my cheeks to wake up and prepare for what was coming.

"Morning, Ise!"
Miki Hyoudou turned from the stove, smiling warmly. And damn, the fandom wasn't wrong — she really did radiate "best mom" energy. Just seeing her made something tighten in my chest. In my old life, I never had this. All I had was an overworked mom and myself, a son who seemed to have no goal besides living and working.
"Morning, Mom," I said, the word catching in my throat before it slipped out naturally.
She placed a bowl of rice and soup and fried mackerel in front of me, humming as she worked. "Eat up. You boys need energy for school."
"Yeah, I got it."
I sat down, chopsticks in hand, and let myself breathe. The food was simple, homey, real. For a few minutes, it was easy to pretend this was just a normal life.
But the glowing prompt and bells ringing in my ears refused to let me forget that normalcy had already left the room
I put my chopsticks down in the table and focus a bit.

[Chaos Gacha is Online]
Rolling...
The slot machine spun wildly in my vision, icons blurring past — weapons, scrolls, glowing crystals, things that looked like cursed junk. The clacking slowed, each image slamming into place until the final row stopped.
Three shimmering cards unfolded before me.

I nearly choked on my rice.
This wasn't a joke. These were real.
A vial of holy water that priests would kill to have on hand — and it refreshed every 4 hours, giving me an unlimited supply. This could burn unholy creatures, enough to take down a devil if splashed, especially with a boost.
A supply kit from Fallout. With this armor and these guns, I could take on low-level threats.
And the real kicker — a Magic Ticket from Fairy Tail.
Even though Slayer magic was banned, there was still an OP magic ripe for picking.
Archive Magic.
As a grimoire dissolved into light and sank into my chest.
And then the pain hit.
A migraine, no—a storm. It was like every neuron in my brain was being force-fed data at once. Words, diagrams, circles of light, instructions on how to draw sigils, the theory behind magical data transfer — all of it jammed into my skull in seconds. My temples throbbed, my vision blurred, and bile rose in my throat.
My hands were shaking under the table. Miki kept humming to herself, oblivious, as I tried not to hyperventilate.
She paused, assessing she notice her son face is a bit weird her eyes narrowing slightly. "Hmm? Ise, you look a little pale. Are you feeling sick?"
"It's fine, Mom. Just… didn't sleep that well."
I forced a smile and waved it off.
She sighed but let it go. "Alright. Do your best out there."
"Got it."
The morning sun hit my face as I stepped outside. Kuoh Academy the infamous school filled with beautiful girls and devils pretending to be human.
The first day of school had officially begun.
