Chapter 1 - I've Been Reincarnated?

"Huh!"

"Where am i?"

"Where is this place?"

When Sung woo Jin woke up, on the bed, the first thing he saw was the beaten ceiling. Sunlight streamed through the windows, he slowly raised his hand to shield his eyes. As he's vision adjusted, he stared at his hand in confusion, his mind was racing with questions. How was this possible? He's body was that of an adult, so why was it a child's body? He took in his surroundings. The room was average in size, with wooden walls and a thatched roof. It looked nothing like the morden apartment in Seoul.

"Ouch my head hurts!"

He tried to sit up, but his body felt heavy and uncoordinated. His muscles ached like hell, and his head spun. He collapsed back on the bed, feeling disoriented. What is going on?

Could it be, am i dreaming? He pinched himself to see if he was dreaming. The pinch didn't help but much, but the pain did make him aware of his surroundings.

*Ouch!*

He muttered rubbing the sore spot

*No, this very much real.*

He looked around the room again, trying to take in every detail.

As he sat on the bed, he's hand was resting on his chin, he gathered his thoughts, he was it with flashes of memories that didn't belong to him. Images of a childhood he didn't recognize, of people he'd never met, of places he'd never been. The memories were fragmented and disjointed.

Sung woo jin saw a woman smiling, and warm, who seemed to be his mother. He saw a boy rough and tumble, who seemed to be his friend. He saw a bustling and vibrant village, that seemed to be his home. But none of it felt like his own memories. It was like watching someone else's life unfold before his eyes.

The flashes stopped as suddenly as they began, leaving him disoriented and confused. Who were those people? He paused for moment, his face frozen in an unreable expression. The corners of his lips curled up into a enigmatic, smile.

"The child's body, this strange room and these unfamiliar memories this can only mean..."

"I-I've been reincarnated!"

Sung woo Jin excitedly raised his fists.

He couldn't contain his excitement. The thought sent a rush of adrenaline through his veins. He felt like he was living the dream. He took a few deep breaths trying to calm himself down. But it was no use. The excitement was building up inside him.

Creack! Creack! Creack!

The door cracked opened and a woman stepped inside. She had a kind face, with soft features and beautiful brown eyes and her long blond hair that tied back in a loose bun. She wore a simple yet elegant dress. She locked her eyes on Sung woo Jin. Her face lit up with a mix of shock and joy. She rushed and knelt besides the bed. She held sung woo jin's hand tightly as sobs racked her body

"----XXX----"(My baby!)

"----XXX----XXX----"("Thank goodness your awake!")Her voice muffled with against his small frame.

Her cries echoed the village of Midwinter, her tears fell like rain, and resonated with the weight of her emotions. Sung woo Jin couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed. As he looked at the the woman's tear stained face, he felt a jolt of recognition.

*She's the woman in one of those

memories!*

That said she is my... No she's the mother of the of the child's body I know inhabited!

*why is she crying!*

As he listened to the words, he struggled he struggled to make sense of the sounds and syllables. At first, it was just a jumbled mess, but then, somehow the words began to take shape. He felt a sense of instinct kicking in and suddenly, the language became clear to him. The wors poured into his mind like water.

I need to play it cool! Guess I'll have to use my acting skills!

"M-mom! wh...ere am I?"

Sounding groggy and disoriented.

"You're home now!

Her face lit with joy, whipping of the left over tears on her face.

*Nailed it!*

He excitedly remarked.

The future was uncertain, but something about it felt promising.
