When a person wakes up in the morning and prepares for a normal day, it would never occur to them that this could be their last day on this earth.
Well, some people might have thought about that, but those people are somewhat paranoid.
Normally one wouldn't think about that.
That thought wouldn't normally even cross his mind.
Peter didn't think about that.
After graduating from college and preparing to go to his part-time job, Peter was the victim of an attempted robbery.
The thief was retarded.
At least that was Peter's opinion.
Peter didn't put up a fight when he saw the robber had a gun.
Anyway, in his backpack there was only a notebook that Peter used for one day of college classes.
It doesn't matter if you lose it. You can borrow a friend's notebook to make copies.
That is the study material of many university students.
Copias o tipeos.
But in the thief's mind, Peter was hiding something valuable and was pointing the gun at him, insisting that he hand it over.
'Look at me, with the clothes I'm wearing, do you think I'd have anything valuable?' was what Peter's mind was thinking, and he was about to tell the robber when the robber shot him.
Grabbing the backpack, the thief fled, leaving Peter bleeding to death on the ground.
Watching the thief leave, Peter was confused for a moment as he didn't know what happened when he fell to the ground.
And then he was filled with fury as he watched the thief's back walking away with his backpack.
Peter didn't know how long he was on the ground, but those last moments didn't pass quickly.
Feeling increasingly cold, Peter realized the fact that he was going to die.
As the last traces of consciousness left him, Peter's thoughts were of wanting to continue living.
.
.
.
After closing his eyes and losing consciousness, Peter didn't expect to have such a vivid dream.
'Is this the next life?' Peter thought.
But something was wrong.
Peter couldn't move or say anything.
In the dream, it seemed that Peter was experiencing it in the first person, but his perspective shifted without his wishes.
After a while, Peter gave up trying to move and lived the whole dream.
Interestingly, in this dream his name was also Peter.
Peter Parker.
His parents were scientists, Richard and Mary Parker.
They both constantly talked about a serum.
But although Peter understood English perfectly, which is why he thought he was reborn in the same world, his parents didn't talk much about his work in his presence.
But they were loving parents.
Young Peter was calm with them.
In his last life, Peter lost his parents as a teenager and was taken in by his uncle, his mother's brother.
But Peter didn't want to upset his uncle too much, and when he could, he got a part-time job while going to college.
His uncle had already supported him a lot at this stage.
Back in Peter's dream, the happy times only lasted a few years and things got complicated.
His parents were more anxious.
'Maybe it's because of his job?' Peter thought.
But when his parents left him with his father's brother and his wife, Ben Parker and May Parker, Peter realized the seriousness of the matter.
Peter parker, Ben parker y May parker.
I was in the Marvel universe.
That was the moment when Peter felt the most like moving.
He knew that when his parents left they wouldn't come back.
He tried, tried, and tried again.
But he couldn't.
And as he expected, his parents never came back.
Peter already suspected that he was just reliving memories that had already passed and that he would emerge from this nightmare when these memories ended.
Time passed.
Young Peter missed his parents.
The only memories he had of them were a few things, one of which was some trunks in the basement of his uncle's house.
Among them were many scientific journals.
Young Peter immersed himself in reading those magazines.
Little by little, by looking up things he didn't understand in the library and constantly asking his school teachers, young Peter understood everything in those magazines and in the new ones.
His parents had a subscription to those magazines that they never canceled, so young Peter always had new magazines to read.
His passion for learning meant he had few friends, but Peter didn't care.
If he wanted to, young Peter could skip several years and go straight to college, but his Uncle Ben wouldn't allow it.
'You should make more friends, spend time with boys your age' was his argument.
Young Peter was very fond of his uncle and listened to him.
The elder Peter, on the other hand, did not become very fond of his uncle.
Knowing what might happen later in this memory he's living, old Peter made sure not to get attached to anyone.
Time passed and young Peter entered adolescence.
He entered Midtown High School of Science on a scholarship.
Young Peter and his uncles celebrated his entry into high school and congratulated Peter on winning the scholarship.
Young Peter was happy because he didn't want to be a burden to his uncles.
Time passed and young Peter turned 14.
Peter would remember this memory very much.
The news of Uncle Ben's death.
A thief tried to assault him and steal his car.
Uncle Ben resisted and was shot.
He did not make it to the hospital alive.
Aunt May was devastated.
Young Peter was furious.
They never caught the thief.
The memory continued and young Peter and Aunt May continued their lives supporting each other.
Aunt May was a nurse and continued with her work.
Although the insurance money they received for Uncle Ben's death wasn't small, it wasn't much either.
They had to continue paying the mortgage on the house.
As Uncle Ben's wife and since the house was in both of their names, Aunt May had to pay the debt.
Insurance money could pay off part of the debt.
But Aunt May had to pay the other part.
Since the insurance money covered half of the mortgage, May could use that money to pay the next few months' mortgage and save for a long time before she has to start paying it off.
With Uncle Ben's death, Peter became more involved in his studies.
During the end of his junior year of high school, Peter went on an educational field trip to Oscorp Industries.
Excited by the visit and what he would see in the world's cutting-edge science, Peter didn't notice a spider land on his neck.
By the time he felt something, it was too late.
The spider had bitten him.
After that, things happened too fast and confusingly for Peter's mind.
He arrived home and went straight to sleep.
He told May that he had a fever and didn't feel like eating.
That's when the dream ended and Peter opened his eyes for the first time in a long time.
Looking around the familiar room, Peter realized he was forgetting many details from his last life.
He remembers his uncle and family a lot, but details of the house, his part-time job, his path to college are fading.
Getting up and heading to the bathroom, Peter turned on the water as gently as possible and washed his face to wake up completely.
Looking in the mirror, Peter saw the familiar face he's had all these years.
For a moment, Peter realized he had no memory of his previous appearance at all.
Seeing the young face in the mirror, Peter accepted his new identity.
Peter Parker - Spider Man
Coming out of the bathroom, Peter placed his hands under his bed and tried to gently lift it.
And the bed rose.
Peter realized he had a lot of strength because he didn't feel the tension he expected when he lifted the bed.
Peter quickly went around his room, touching and lifting different objects to calculate the force needed so he wouldn't accidentally break something.
After several attempts, Peter realized he didn't have natural cobwebs.
After that, and with his newfound strength under control, he turned on his computer, and quickly searched to confirm what he already knew.
Captain America, Stark Industries, etc.
Peter looked up a lot of things to confirm that he was only in the cinematic universe and that mutants didn't exist.
He stretched a little in his chair and sighed.
After accepting his new reality, Peter got up, left his room and headed towards the kitchen on the first floor.
