Both parts of the first contraption are connected by a single pulley, and this pulley is wrapped with a wire attached to a spring at the end.
The spring could be placed on any part of the device, either on the part that wraps around the calf or the thigh.
The spring pulls the wire, which then rotates the pulley, causing the calf part of the device to be pulled backward.
If Peter wanted to move his leg, he would have to try very hard.
Because his legs are stronger than his arms, Peter had to alter and reinforce the springs.
And if he wants to train other muscles in his lower and upper limbs, Peter just has to swap the springs to the other side.
The second device also has 2 parts and is placed on the arm and forearm.
Like the first gadget, it works with springs.
It also works with rubber bands, but Peter doesn't have enough information to transmute rubber bands from a material that meets his requirements.

Peter printed out the first day he found information about magic in languages he didn't understand, several books in ancient languages that he used as reference to translate many of the things he found.
His ultra-fast learning kicked in again and Peter quickly learned these languages with the help of the Internet.
There are several videos on the Internet that teach languages.
Thanks to his newfound skill with ancient languages, Peter found several hidden gems on the Internet.

Because he spent a lot of time learning ancient languages, Peter was able to find specific mind-reading spells.
After a while, Peter walked around the entire police station.
Thanks to his empathic abilities as a Chi practitioner, Peter was able to track down a corrupt police officer and quickly obtain the information he needed.
Not only that, apart from the information Peter was seeking about the gangs operating in Queens, he also found various cases of corruption.
Peter was eager to get involved, but knew he knew nothing about the procedures of a court case.
Peter could very well do things wrong.

Once inside the building, Peter extended his senses to encompass all the passageways.

The vibration of Peter's tongue click bounces off the walls and back to Peter.

In Peter's mind, a three-dimensional image formed.
Very soon, Peter met another human being.
This person was on top of a bed sleeping, unaware of Peter's approach to his side.
