The instructor smirked at Aiden's actions. "Oho, we have quite the fighter here. I'll count from three to one."
"Three." Aiden's opponent tensed at the countdown.
"Two." Aiden barely maintained the heavy weight of his sword.
"One." Both participants readied themselves.
"Go!" the instructor shouted.
Aiden and his opponent charge at each other.
Clank!
Cling!
Ring!
Both of them maintained an awkward fighting stance.
Both are barely managing to block.
"I apologize, but I have to win." Aiden mumbles.
Suddenly.
Red aura manifested from the "Solbrand".
The opponent noticed the flaming color devouring Aiden's sword, and he did the same.
Yellow aura erupted from the enemy's blade.
"Haa!" Aiden shouted, preparing for impact.
"Haa!" The opponent shouted awkwardly, tensing up.
Aura flew everywhere, covering the whole arena in bursts of it.
Leaving a huge crater where the arena once was.
"You've got talent, it's a shame you can't awaken it." Aiden shrugged, blood coming out of his mouth.
"So do you, your highness." He said, blood pouring down his nose.
Both of them decided to pour every last bit of aura they had left into this single attack.
"Let's end this!" Aiden shouted.
"I won't lose!" The opponent mumbled.
"HAAAAAA!"
"HAAAAAA!"
In a big flash.
Everything around them dissipated.
The instructor and the other knights behind him were shocked out of their wits.
"I can't believe this. How could he go hand-to-hand with a fully trained knight?!! The instructor mumbled to himself, not believing what his eyes were seeing.
"Is his highness okay?"
"Wasn't slacking off all these years?"
"This can't be real!"
All kinds of voices rang through Aiden's head: Disbelief, worry, annoyance, excitement.
The aura clash began to subside.
Revealing two silhouettes sprawled on the ground, gassed out.
"DOCTOR!" The instructor yelled out.
Both of them were still conscious.
"That was a great fight," Aiden mumbled.
The opponent flashed a smile, holding down the pain. "It was, your highness."
"May I ask you for your name?" Aiden mumbled, zoning out.
"I would've given you my name even if you didn't ask. My name is Lyone." Lyone said.
But he hadn't heard a response. Aiden had fallen unconscious.
"No time for pointless chatter!" The instructor shouted at Lyone's face.
Aiden could still hear his surroundings. But can't interact with them.
Then, he just falls asleep…
"Oh, that was a good sleep. Wait, where am I again?" Aiden mumbled to himself.
He checked his surroundings, only to realise he was still trapped in the app.
"I almost forgot about that."
He stands up, oblivious to the fact that he's butt naked.
Crack!
The window beside him shattered into pieces.
An unidentified figure had entered his room.
It was a person wearing all black clothes, his eyes weren't covered.
He was glaring at Aiden, then suddenly, he looked down.
Staring at Aiden's pajama's.
Bewildered by the sight of the crown prince not wearing his formal attire.
He looks back at Aiden with a confused look.
"It seems like I came at a crucial moment, too bad this will be your last memory, quite a bad one to be exact."
He pulls out his blade, his eyes reflecting in it.
Aiden looks at where the unidentified figure was staring.
At first, he saw nothing amiss, but on a second glance, reality hit him. He was wearing his pajamas.
"What's wrong with wearing pajamas?"
He slashed, but missed by a single hair.
"Quite fast for a slacker like you." The man in black attire mumbled calmly.
Taking the chance, Aiden backflipped to the other side of the room.
Finally, he picked up his precious sword.
"Now, this is fair," Aiden said, confidently
He charged at him, only to stumble mid-stab, his chest crying out in pain.
He dropped to the ground, holding his stomach, crying out.
"I guess you just made this easier for me." The man said, excited.
Clank!
The door's knob twitched.
"Damn it!" The figure mumbled, anger showing in his face.
The silhouette in front of him slowly disappeared into thin air, not a single trace left behind.
A woman dressed in maid attire barged open.
"Your highness, are you okay?!!!" She shouted, worried about Aiden's well-being.
Behind her were 2 fully armored knights.
She stared at Aiden for a second, then shouted at the top of her lungs.
"PHYSICIAN!"
Followed by the voices of the two other knights accompanying her.
"We have an urgent situation here!"
"Come quickly!"
Aiden began to drift off, reality shifting around him.
It was total darkness, not a single light in sight.

Footsteps sounded behind him.
He turned his head.
Whatever was behind him triggered a painful memory for him.
He started having flashbacks of when he lost his family.
"Police! Police! There was a car crash here!"
"People are still inside the vehicle!"
"Open the doors!"
Police sirens rang in his head.
Followed by painful screams.
Kid Aiden stood there, staring at the scene in front of him, which would shape his entire future.
"Mom!"
Aiden shouted for his mother.
The police broke apart the doors.
He carried his family out of the car.
The doctor came to check their pulses.
"I don't think they are still ali–" He stopped in his tracks.
"One is still alive! Prepare the stretcher!"
It was his brother.
He barely lived through the horrifying accident.
Then the memory started breaking apart, switching to another one.
His brother was lying on a medical bed.
"I hoped not to be the bearer of bad news. But I'm afraid to tell you that your brother will forever be disabled… An–"
Aiden started crying his eyes out. "No! This can't be true!"
"I haven't finished my words. Your brother was found to be carrying a life-threatening disease."
Aiden kept staring at the physician. Sadness? Anger? Depression? No, it was the regret that he couldn't do anything to save his family.
Once again, reality started shifting around him, leaving this memory for good.
It switched to a house, where his grandma, his brother, and Aiden lived happily.
Aiden was chatting with his disabled brother, reciting all kinds of stories he could think of; this may be one of the only good memories Aiden has.
His grandma is cracking jokes while laughing with her grandchildren.
Crack!
Once again, the memory started falling apart, switching to another one.
Aiden was holding his younger brother's hand, crying out all his pain.
"You shouldn't blame yourself, you didn't do anything, brother. After all, this is just an unfortunate memory." His younger brother glanced at the present Aiden, flashing a grin through the pain.
"What? I don't remember this!"
