Chapter 10 - Tony: How could it be Uncle Obadiah!

Simply put, reaching the Ming Jin realm is roughly equivalent to the level of a top soldier in various countries' armies. Achieving An Jin elevates one beyond that, into the realm of a killing machine.

Tony Stark pondered for a moment, then asked, "How does his strength compare to Wonder Woman?"

"They are not comparable!" Jarvis replied. "The Chinese martial arts system, even reaching the Hua Jin level, or even the legendary Dan Jin, cannot withstand bullets. A Hua Jin master, cornered in an alley, would still be gunned down. Modern firearms are even more potent. However, Wonder Woman's physical strength allows her to ignore ordinary bullets. According to calculations, even large-caliber sniper rifles likely wouldn't faze her!"

"Based on the compiled data, Wonder Woman is clearly stronger and more dangerous. Her super speed, super strength, and super stamina far exceed normal humans, while Lin Feng can only be considered to have reached the theoretical peak of human capabilities!" Jarvis continued.

"But if I recall correctly, he was just a regular person a little over a month ago, not even particularly strong, right?" Tony Stark inquired. "What exactly did he do in this past month?"

"We are currently unsure. It seems to be the result of some kind of stimulating secondary development," Jarvis responded. "From a scientific perspective, it could be a genetic mutation of some sort!"

"And if we consider it from a non-scientific perspective..." Tony Stark stroked his goatee, then said, "Let's consider it from a magical perspective. Is it possible, like in many fantasy novels, that he obtained some sort of incredible opportunity? Because he's from another dimension's universe, and if our previous speculation is correct, that their universe can observe ours, even knowing my future, then doesn't that mean he might also know the location of certain opportunities that make people stronger? Would that be a reasonable explanation?"

If, just over a month ago, someone had told him this was possible, he wouldn't have believed it. But this world was gradually revealing its extraordinary side to Tony Stark, forcing him to consider it.

What science couldn't explain, the extraordinary might make possible.

"Sir, it's possible!" Jarvis stated.

"That's quite the stroke of luck. To turn an ordinary person this strong in just over a month!" Tony Stark said with some feeling, a hint of envy in his tone.

Although this was a world dominated by capital, and he was among the elite at the very top, who wouldn't want to become stronger?

"Continue monitoring. Adjust the alert level based on his situation!" Tony Stark ordered. "Especially, monitor whether he's killing indiscriminately, becoming an uncontrollable supervillain. If he starts down that path, even if it means exposure, we will deploy all resources to eliminate him!"

Deep down, Tony Stark was still worried about Lin Feng.

If Lin Feng couldn't control his mindset after his rapid power increase, then he would have to be eliminated to prevent bloodshed.

Tony Stark was absolutely ruthless!

As he spoke, Tony Stark had already arrived in front of the oak desk in the basement. On the desk lay the mysterious diary.

But when he saw the contents recorded inside, his pupils suddenly constricted.

Tony Stark's pupils constricted as he read. What?

He saw a name that shocked him. It was none other than Obadiah!

A person he had never suspected! Because when he suddenly heard the news of his parents' death, it was Uncle Obadiah who was by his side. And it was only after he graduated from university and got his doctorate that he returned to take over Stark Industries. Before that, Uncle Obadiah had been helping to manage the vast Stark Industries.

Because of this, he had never doubted it. In fact, after his father's death, Obadiah had subtly taken on the role of a father figure in his heart.

But, he never expected that his uncle would want to kill him?

Why?

Why was this happening?

He couldn't find a reason, especially since he was still leading Stark Industries to prosperity. Even if it was just for making more money, he shouldn't be targeted.

Wait, if it was for money....

Tony Stark suddenly thought of a possibility: the Stark family had been single-line descendants for generations. If he died, then the assets and shares he left behind, without a will, and without a wife or children, would be completely devoured by others.

That's the ruthlessness of the capitalist world!

Those big families value having many children, and there's a reason for that!

But he still didn't believe his uncle, Obadiah, would do anything to harm him. It was almost like destroying his beliefs, burning away years of trust.

"This could be a deliberate attempt to drive a wedge between me and Uncle Obadiah..." Tony Stark murmured to himself; he didn't believe it at first.

However, as a capitalist, his inherent suspicion also made him doubt. Although his trust in Obadiah made him not want to believe it, his capitalist nature made him instinctively suspicious.

No, he had to get to the bottom of this, even if it was just to eliminate his suspicions about his uncle Obadiah.

"Sir, while it's possible that this is a provocation, there's no harm in investigating!" Jarvis offered his opinion at the right moment.

"You're right!" Tony Stark quickly made up his mind. Although he seemed carefree on the surface, as if he didn't care about many things, he still cared about his own life.

If that was the case, he wouldn't hesitate!

In the world of capitalists, it wasn't uncommon for fathers and sons to face each other in court, fighting to the death, let alone an uncle who wasn't even related by blood.

"Immediately infiltrate all of Stark Industries' internal networks. See if there are any other internal networks I don't know about. Also, immediately begin searching all accessible data. Investigate all of Uncle Obadiah's phone records and communication logs. See if there are any calls to Afghanistan. If there are, I need to know exactly who!" Tony Stark immediately instructed, a multitude of thoughts flooding his mind.
