Chapter 9 - Lin Feng, the Dangerous Person in Iron Man's Eyes

Lin Feng looked at the black men who had fallen to the ground and shook his head, "Truly courting death!"

His punch, on the surface, only seemed to have broken a few ribs, but in reality, he had used the Hidden Force technique, which had already injured their internal organs. They wouldn't be able to do any physical labor for the rest of their lives.

If it weren't in broad daylight, facing these trashy black men, Lin Feng wouldn't have been polite and would have just eliminated them, ridding society of a scourge.

"Chinese Kung Fu!"

"Wow, it's really Chinese Kung Fu!"

"Chinese Kung Fu is so cool! I want to learn it too!"

Exclamations came from many passersby. Seeing Lin Feng, their minds immediately connected to the once-popular Chinese Kung Fu.

Lin Feng didn't linger and left immediately to avoid any trouble.

After finishing his daily workout and returning home, it was already past seven in the evening. He fried himself a steak, ate, and cleaned up before starting his daily diary entry.

This had become a steadfast habit for over a month.

"I saw Obadiah's interview during the day. He was pretending to be so close to Tony Stark, like father and son, yet he's going to be a father like this? Planning a kidnapping if they were like father and son? Letting the Ten Rings kill Tony Stark if they were like father and son? If the Ten Rings hadn't wanted Tony Stark to build missiles for them, then there wouldn't even have been a possibility of Tony Stark creating the Mark I Armor. He would have just died. Tsk tsk, what a true capitalist father-son relationship!"

"But why hasn't Tony Stark gone to Afghanistan yet? Is the plot not starting yet? How much longer do I have to wait!"

Lin Feng's diary entries also alerted Tony Stark.

Tony Stark, who was about to go out to a cocktail party, immediately canceled his plans and went to his underground secret room. Only he had access here; even Pepper, who could go anywhere else, couldn't enter.

Inside was where he usually analyzed the diary entries.

"What did you write today? Don't tell me it's another one of those 'sunny day, nothing happened' entries. If it is, don't bother notifying me!" Tony Stark said as he took off his suit jacket and walked towards the basement.

Lin Feng's perfunctory diary entries this past month had really made Tony want to puke. He often came down with high expectations, only to be disappointed.

"Jarvis, what has Lin Feng been up to lately?"

Tony Stark asked.

Because Lin Feng's entries this month had been mostly fluff, even though he really wanted to know about the future and parallel universes, Tony couldn't help but shift his focus. After all, he still had company matters to deal with, especially how to handle the board's constant nagging.

The board had urged him to go to Afghanistan several times this month.

But, knowing he would be kidnapped if he went to Afghanistan, and not knowing what would happen, Tony Stark naturally wouldn't go and throw his life away.

He was arrogant, but he wasn't an idiot.

But the more the board of directors urged him, the more uneasy he felt.

Because although promoting and demonstrating new weapons was important, it wasn't necessary for him, the chairman, to go in person. Couldn't they send a director? Would the deal fall through then?

This month, he'd been battling wits with the board of directors.

"Sir, according to recent feedback, Lin Feng has been constantly learning various martial arts, and his progress is astonishing. His danger level is rapidly increasing. He is no longer a normal human being!"

Jarvis replied.

Yes, that's right. Lin Feng was currently under comprehensive surveillance. Although Tony Stark couldn't directly confront Lin Feng to ask about the multiverse and the diary, that didn't mean he had no options.

His method was simple and crude: he spent three billion to send several satellites into space, directly monitoring the entire globe, twenty-four hours a day, ensuring that wherever Lin Feng went, it would be detected immediately.

Of course, in addition to this, there was Jarvis's ability to hack into various networks. Together, they could essentially monitor Lin Feng's actions.

For example, the practice areas of the gyms Lin Feng visited were equipped with surveillance cameras. Jarvis usually used these cameras to unobtrusively investigate Lin Feng's information.

"Not an ordinary human? What do you mean?" Tony Stark asked.

"Based on the current data, sandbags and wooden dummies are delivered to his house daily, all of which are destroyed. His strength, combined with the techniques of Chinese Kung Fu, allows him to kill a healthy adult with a single punch!" Jarvis replied. "Shall I project the video?"

"Project it!" Tony Stark nodded.

Immediately, a video clip appeared before Tony Stark. It began in a martial arts hall, where Lin Feng was training various Chinese martial arts forms. Each punch and kick possessed immense power; just watching from afar, one could sense his might.

Then, with the aid of props, Tony Stark couldn't help but twitch his eyelids as he watched Lin Feng's brutal combat prowess, such as smashing a wooden dummy with an elbow strike.

How did this Lin Feng transform from an ordinary person into such a ferocious killing machine in just a few days?

The video then switched to an alley. From the perspective, it was clearly a roadside surveillance camera. In the evening alley, Lin Feng was cornered by several gang members who intended to rob him.

With lightning speed, Lin Feng directly killed these gang members. What made Tony Stark most uneasy was that one of the gang members drew a gun, but at the critical moment, Lin Feng seemed to have premonition, dodged the bullet, then used a hand chop to break the gang member's throat, killing him instantly.

The entire process lasted less than a minute!

During this time, the combat strength Lin Feng displayed was astonishing.

"This... how did he dodge that? It's not scientific!" Tony Stark was a bit baffled, he said.

Theoretically, if you could predict when someone would shoot, you could dodge the bullet in advance, but the problem was, how could a normal person possibly predict that?

Would dodging even be considered normal for a human?

"Theoretically, it's possible. Within the Chinese Kung Fu system, there's an ability called Warrior's Intuition, which can sense danger. However, it's said that it requires cultivation to an extremely profound level to trigger it!" Jarvis said. "Currently, Lin Feng's level has reached the Hidden Force stage!"

Following this, Jarvis also displayed the system information of Chinese Kung Fu, giving Tony Stark a direct understanding.
