Ivy's POV
"Let's try removing your scent completely now." My father's suggestion hung in the air as I pondered the challenge. What could possibly eliminate a scent entirely? Air purifiers? Chemical neutralizers?
"I know this might sound ridiculous..." Grant began hesitantly.
I couldn't help but laugh. "We're already at the point where I'm mentally projecting a scented candle to protect myself from my terrible mate. I don't think your idea can be any more absurd than our current reality."
He grinned and pointed at me. "Fair point. What about a vacuum? It literally sucks everything in, including air and scents."
I considered his suggestion, turning it over in my mind.
"The idea doesn't need to be perfect," my father explained, rising from his chair to approach me. "It's merely a channel for your power to flow through. Your abilities will naturally follow your intentions, but you need something concrete to initiate the process."
