Chapter 38 - Chapter 12 season 2

Asert left the room where the affinity tests were carried out without stopping observing the Saint. "I don't know if it was a dream, or a premonition; but I won't let it happen," Asert thought with his impassive gaze and then walked away at one of the forks that emerged in the corridors of the Academy.

Evans, for his part, went to the administrative office of the Academy, when he arrived there there were only a few students, Lizet sat in one of the chairs and Evans waited in a column of students with three people in front of him.

Almost 15 minutes later, a dark-haired, glasses-wearing, average-looking woman wearing formal office attire asked him in a dull voice:

-What procedure or request are you going to carry out?

-Good afternoon; I have come to request one of the rooms used for confinement.

The woman got up, opened a drawer, took out a form and said:

-Fill in the data and information requested.

"Efficiency, but harsh treatment; I don't know what to think"

Evans took out his gold pen and began writing without delay.

When he finished writing, he handed over the form, the woman sealed it and the form glowed and then disappeared.

-After a week you will receive a response to your request. Next! -The woman stated directly and called the next student in the column.

Evans left the administrative office accompanied by Lizet and headed to the main cafeteria of the Academy. In the place there were white tables with several padded chairs around them, most of the students were from higher years or from high-ranking nobility.

The moment he saw the prices on the menu, he understood why they called it the main cafeteria. Evans observed the surroundings and happened to see the student who had lost his tooth. He couldn't help but smile evilly, but he walked with Lizet, they ordered two portions of food. A chicken fillet bathed in an exquisite amber sauce and two pieces of high-quality Meriatz wheat bread, and two bottles of grape juice from the Sairiant vineyard.

Meriatz wheat was harvested in a kingdom that used Plant magic to improve the quality of its products, which is why it was a product that only nobles could afford; Likewise, the grape juice came from the vineyard of the Sairiant Kingdom recognized for having the most exquisite liquors.

-Young man, it is 20 gold coins for each meal.

-My friend, he will pay the bill. -Evans said with courtesy and determination in his eyes that made him difficult to question.

Evans and Lizet walked away from the cashier and sat at one of the empty tables.

Shortly after, one of the cafeteria managers who was wearing white clothes approached the student who had lost a tooth, pointed at Evans and the student turned pale when he saw him, with a dull look he took out a 40 gold coins from his ring and continued eating dinner in silence. Evans couldn't help but laugh softly when he saw the helplessness of the subject who had offended him, then he began to taste the food.

"It tastes great, especially because it's free and quality"

Evans looked around for Henry and couldn't see him anywhere.

"He must be scared in some corner"

After finishing eating, the two left the cafeteria without causing any more problems.

Evans said goodbye to Lizet, the night had come, he entered his room, it was small but private, others had to share a room, although the other high-ranking nobles rented the private bedrooms that were luxurious and expensive. Evans put his hand to his head, his mind was clouding, he sat on the edge of the bed with white sheets in the room and waited until the discomfort disappeared, his spirit had calmed, but the aftereffects it had left were still present.

Evans opened the window of the room, took a wooden chair that was in front of a small desk, placed the chair near the window and began to see the night sky; Although seeing the sky left him with a feeling of emptiness, while he saw it it brought him a feeling of longing and calm.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

-Forward! -Evans exclaimed, he already knew who was knocking on the door.

The handle rang, the door opened and Princess Amelia entered, looked around the small room and then approached Evans who was still sitting by the window.

She stood behind Evans and hugged him, and he said to her:

-The window is open.

-I don't mind; You are my fiancé. Let me see. -Princess Amelia said without hesitation.

-Are you sure? -Evans asked.

Evans uncovered his shirt showing off his toned torso, but Princess Amelia directed her gaze to the point where the union of the artificial arm with Evans' shoulder was visible. She sighed and kissed Evans' right shoulder and then asked him firmly:

-Who was it?

-Duchess Jesica, she wants the dukedom; but I'm not going to allow it. -Evans responded without getting upset.

-When we graduate I will help you with everything. Don't hesitate. She will pay. -Amelia stated, handing a letter to Evans.

-I thank you Amelia; as long as it doesn't involve Aria; I will not hesitate to support you. -Evans stated after taking the letter.

Amelia placed her hands on Evans' shoulders, bringing her face closer to his and asked him:

-What if I wanted to destroy a kingdom?

-Tell me the name and it will cease to exist. -Evans responded bluntly.

Amelia smiled pleased and left the room.

When Princess Amelia left the room, Evans opened the letter and inside it was written:

"Aval

Guarantor: Mr. Reinz Mirrer Frenan.

Endorsed: Evans Qualty.

Mr. Reinz Mirrer Frenan guarantees that young Mr. Evans Qualty is the rightful owner of the top-level healing elixir..."

At the end of the letter was Mr. Reinz's signature, the imperial seal, and space for Evans to sign.

"With this I will be able to auction the elixir"

Evans stored the guarantee in his ring, and closed the window to prepare for bed.
