Chapter 42 - Chapter 16 season 2

Some students were still choosing the places where they would sit when a man came in wearing a simple black suit, with very white skin, dull black hair, and wearing dark glasses to hide his eyes, but even so you could slightly see his dark circles.

-Hello, everyone. Take your seats, I'll give you 1 minute.

The class had just the right number of seats for each student, so there were students who did not want to sit near Asert, Cristal, or the half-elf Eriaz.

Evans saw Cristal and greeted her from his seat, she seemed surprised, but when he pointed to the booth in front of her she didn't hesitate and got up to walk towards the place Evans suggested.

-I hope it doesn't bother you? -Evans said to Karven.

Karven just smiled with his carefree attitude and mentioned:

-They call me prince of a minor kingdom; Do you think I'm going to get upset, we will be the group of renegades.

As Cristal sat down, she addressed the two of them and said politely:

-Thank you, I'm Cristal Millzt.

-It's a pleasure. -Evans answered.

-Yes, we're going to get along. -Karven mentioned.

"I think it's better to gather the talents before that so-called saint manipulates them and uses them against me in the future."

Evans looked at Lizet who was watching them and called her with a gesture, she approached the group and sat on the seat in front of Karven.

The minute passed. and happy or not, all the students had sat in their respective places.

-I'm Wester Frich; I will be the S class advisor for the first year, and their magical history professor. Today I am here to guide you, during the first week, you must choose the subjects of your choice; That is because among you there are students who wish to fully become magicians and others who aspire to be high-level warriors; That is why they must be careful when choosing the subjects they will take throughout the 4 years they study at the Academy...

The professor made a magic circle appear and on the large blackboard some diagrams appeared with the different eligible subjects and the mandatory subjects. The students did not delay and began to take notes while Professor Wester explained the content and scope of each class in relation to the profession of magician or warrior.

-What are you? -Karven asked, while writing down a notebook.

-I am a magician, although I use magic to strengthen my body to then attack with my sword. So I can adapt to both professions. -Evans responded.

-That sounds interesting. They say that the virtue of magicians is in knowledge and distance. -Karven said.

-It's a great description. -Evans concluded.

-They are not my words; That's what Hana thinks. -Karven added.

"Hana, she must be in class A."

Evan looked at the board to think about the eligible subjects, and since his magical knowledge was extensive, he chose those that were related to the warrior profession, since he was interested in strengthening his body. When he had made up his mind, he looked at the clear sky that could be seen through the window.

When the professor had finished explaining, shortly after the students began to leave the classroom to go to the rooms designated for the teachers who would explain the contents of their subjects to the interested students.

-Student Evans Qualty.

Evans was heading to the exit accompanied by his group when he was called by Professor Wester.

-We are waiting for you in the cafeteria. -Karven announced, leaving with Cristal. while Lizet decided to wait.

-Professor, is something wrong? -Evans asked.

-Here are the keys to the room you requested; It will be two weeks, stay up to date with assignments. -Professor Wester indicated to Evans while giving him a silver key that had a small, almost transparent crystal.

Evans looked at the key for a few seconds and then put it away.

-The assigned room also has a crystal that will glow when the key is nearby. -Added the professor who understood that Evans was confused.

-I appreciate it, professor. -Evans responded and after a slight bow he retired.

Evans walked down the hallway toward the secondary cafeteria, Lizet at his side.

-Stay close to today's group, if you are alone you will stand out more; take notes for me. I'll seclude myself for a week or two. If you can, approach Eriaz subtly.

Lizet looked at Evans as they walked and asked:

-Don't you think we'll attract more attention?

-It doesn't matter, in second year we will be one of the strongest groups in the school. Not many will dare to speak. -Evans responded with a calm tone.

-Understand. - Lizet murmured.

Upon arriving at the cafeteria they met with Karven, Cristal and Hana to have lunch at the same table.

Evans entered a room.

The interior was about 20 square meters, there was a bathroom, a small bed and a compartment with some food. The walls were white as was the ceiling, the floor was covered by beige tiles with some brown designs, on the walls there were lamps and magic stones. It was an ideal room for a magician to meditate quietly and concentrate on forming his circle.

"I guess the rooms for the warriors must be different."

Evans accepted the dark environment, he sat in a meditation position in the middle of the room, the mana began to circulate through his body, he already had enough mana to create his third circle so he did not delay, he directed part of the mana contained in his two mana circles and began to solidify what would be his third mana chamber.

Crackle!

His body ached the same way it did after he had used his power to defeat the intruders who entered the mansion.

He felt like a fire was burning his skin.

-What did they do to you?! -He exclaimed, heartbreakingly.

Evans' heart was pounding, he felt sore and empty; but he remembered that he was forming his third circle and regained his concentration; although the sinister and sad feeling did not disappear from his heart again.
