Chapter 44 - Chapter 18 season 2

A week later.

In classroom 01, Professor Wester walked around while teaching his history of magic classes.

-...As you know, we already discussed the concept of magic. Now it is up to us to talk about the origin of the name of the Crimorian continent 1898 years ago, since before having a name, there was no political stability in the continental territory, no defined laws, nor agreed upon knowledge, everything was chaos, because dozens and dozens of organizations and minor kingdoms ruled that controlled territories with little stability. If you wonder if there were exceptions, yes, if there were, there were some kingdoms or territories with more power, but they used their power to guarantee the borders they had achieved, because they feared being the target of small territories or an attack from another kingdom; However, King Gustav of the disappeared Carthaginian kingdom requested an assembly and invited the kings of the most powerful territories; In the end they all met in a neutral territory and each king brought his best magicians and warriors as personal guards. Although it did not seem to be a successful meeting, since the Unsiac kingdom, the only kingdom that had maintained its stability in those chaotic times for more than 300 years, did not participate; In the end the kings who participated created the disappeared Assembly of the 10 stars.

Once the Assembly of the 10 stars is created, the name is given to the Crimorian continent, the territories that previously belonged to minor kingdoms or unstable organizations are unified; These territories are annexed to each of the 10 kingdoms that formed the assembly based on the contribution during the conquests; In the end, the assembly of the 10 stars shows its effectiveness for almost a century, however, after a century, a large part of the rulers had changed and the ambition arose that later became the ruin of the assembly, when it was decided by majority decision that they would attack the powerful Unsiac kingdom, on the basis that in this way they would achieve full stability, since the Unsiac kingdom was the representation of the chaotic past of the Continent. After that decision, the 10 kingdoms united and directed their best warriors and magicians towards the borders of the Unsiac kingdom and the first stage of the war began in which King Gisgan Unsiac faced the 10 kingdoms head-on, directing his warriors and magicians, the 10 rulers never imagined that King Gisgan was so powerful, in the end they had to retreat; But thus began the second stage of the war, the Unsiac kingdom advanced in retaliation and began to conquer the most prosperous areas that the 10 kingdoms had.As the 10 rulers could not find a solution that would allow them to contain the advance, 6 of the 10 representatives gave their positions to their successors; A renewed Assembly decides to ally itself with another kingdom that remained independent, the theocratic kingdom Solstirian. The 10 representatives agreed with the Solstirian kingdom that they would allow the religion of the Sun to be preached throughout the continent, this is how the mana pact was signed between the 10 representatives of the Assembly and the Holy King Dimiev Sarif. With the new alliance called the holy light alliance, the third and final stage of the war began. Students, now that I have told you a little about the history of the early period of the Crimorian Continent, I want you to do a thorough essay on one of the three topics.

The board glowed and the three eligible topics appeared:

•The kingdoms that existed and disappeared in the early period of the continent.

•The forms of magic used by the kingdoms in the early period.

•The kingdoms that managed to survive to the present day and their impact.

Karven asks them curiously:

-What topic are you going to choose?

The other four looked at each other, as all four were magicians, in the end Evans said:

-The forms of magic used by the kingdoms in the early period.

Lizet, Cristal and Eriaz nodded. Karven seemed thoughtful although his relaxed attitude was still present, making him look a little funny and not deep and philosophical.

"I think I will choose this topic because I have some memories among my knowledge, if I rely on some books, I will finish the essay on time"

Evans felt that he was being watched subtly, because of the location he could immediately tell that the person watching him was the holy Rose; He preferred to ignore it so as not to raise suspicions, although he considered that she had an attitude unbecoming of the saints who had been recorded in the past.

-I think I will choose the same topic as you. So you can support me, right? -Karven expressed enthusiastically.

Cristal laughed at Karven's relaxed attitude and replied:

-We are a group, you can count on me.

The other three nodded and when the professor left practically in silence; They got up and then headed towards the classrooms or training fields where they would teach the classes they had chosen.

Since Evans and Karven were going to participate in the magical combat class, they walked together towards the outdoor training field that was located near the Dome.

-Professor Adel is quite strict, I thought she would allow us to fight immediately; We only train until the entire group is in optimal condition, it's a shame, I wanted to face Asert. -Expressed Karven, who seemed to be a little disappointed.

-Do you want to die? -Evans asked him with his cordial attitude.

Karven was surprised and replied:

-I thought you trusted your friend's talent. Besides, we are not going to fight to the death.

-You know that last line was unnecessary. -Evans added.

Karven just laughed and changed the subject as they continued walking.

Professor Adel was a warrior at the starting point of the sixth rank, of average appearance, with brown hair, white skin, some freckles on her cheeks, and usually wore a simple dark green tight pants and a white blouse; despite her appearance she was quite strict when teaching her classes.

The training field was an area similar to a plain, but with finely trimmed natural grass and signage delimiting the space they could use, as other spaces were used by students in the upper years.

Arriving at the training field, the students were dressed in black pants with white stripes and white sweaters.

There were about 60 students, including students from S class, A class and B class; since it was a joint class between the students of the three upper classes who had chosen the subject of magical combat; the rest of the students from C and lower classes, who had chosen the same subject, were assigned a different schedule.

Keep up the pace when running! Control your breathing; it will be a great help when meditating!

As everyone ran around the training field, the teacher followed them around to give them pointers to improve their efficiency or to highlight bad habits that the students needed to correct.
