( One week later )
JAY's POV
The final exams r finally over. Now only the fifth and final exams r left before we graduate.
Today is the result day. Me and Keifer got ready and head to school.
When we reached our section. Everyone looked nervous about their results.
Soon, sir Alvin arrived, took the attendance and told us that the result r now up on the main building.
He also told us that the "final"final exams r going to start in two weeks, giving us just enough time to chill for a while, celebrate my birthday and study for the exams.
After sir Alvin's class everyone went downstairs to look at their results.
Me and Keifer went out the classroom last.
He must have noticed how nervous I was.
Keifer: u ok?
Jay: yeah, just a little nervous to see my result.
Keifer: don't worry, I'm sure u did great. After all I was your tutor.
He said smirking 😏
I rolled my eyes at him but still smiled, feeling a bit relieved.
There was a huge crowd gathered around the result board when we got there.
I hesitated to go towards them but keifer held my hand tightly and walked towards the board.
Everyone moved away when they saw keifer and me approach, hand in hand. Some stared at us, some gossiped and some looked unbothered and walked away. But section e started their teasing and cheering when they saw us.
We ignored them and looked at our results.
I was shocked to see that I scored 92.4%
My eyes grew wide and Keifer just chuckled at my reaction.
Keifer( chuckling ): I told u.
Jay: how much did u get.
Keifer( proudly ): 99.8%
I just rolled my eyes at him again.
Jay: ofc u did.
We went towards the others who were jumping and laughing in the corner.
We told each other our scores.
Ci-n got 100%, ofc🙄
David got 98.9%
Yuri got 99.9%
Felix got 95% , etc.
Then we decided to got celebrate at the mall because we had no classes now.
We went to the mall in our separate cars.
Keifer and me in keifer's.
David, Felix and ci-n in David's car.
Yuri in his own.
Some of the other just hailed a taxi and some just rode in their cars.
We reached the mall in about 30 minutes.
We waited for a few minutes for everyone to arrive.
Keifer: now what do u all want to do?
I was about to answer when ci-n tapped my shoulder and said,
Ci-n: Jay, look. Can we ride the train again, pls☹
My eyes turned to Felix and so did his when we remembered what happened last time.
"No", we both said at the same time.
Ci-n looked at me with sad eyes.
Felix: u can ride it we u want to but we won't.
Jay: ci-n u can go if u want to on your own. We r going to the food court to eat something first.
His eyes lit up.
Ci-n: nah, I'll just come with u guys instead.
We shook our head and went to the food court.
Everyone scattered instantly. Some went to find a seat for everyone while the others went to every food stall they could find.
I went to sit at a table while waiting for everyone.
Keifer: u don't want to go order some food.
Jay: nah, I will just wait for everyone to bring buffet of food for me. They always order a lot of food.
Keifer: I'll just go get some for u and me then
Jay: ok.
In a few minutes, everyone came back with handful of food that they could barely hold.
We joined some tables together, laid out all the food, brought some plates and utensils and sat down to eat.
Keifer came back too and sat beside me.
He handed me a tray full of food filled with hotdogs, grilled cheese sandwich, pasta, kikam, a donut and a cold drink.
We all ate our food while teasing, laughing and shouting at each other like we normally do and ofc it couldn't be complete without a food stealing.
Everyone around us was staring at us but we didn't care.
We engulfed our food in half an hour and then walked around for a while.
We decided to split up and explore the mall.
Me and yuri walked side by side while ci-n, David, Felixwalked ahead of us arguing about something and Keifer walked a little behind me, watching me and yuri.
We laughed when ci-n jumped onto David's back saying, " carry me grandpa David. I am tired ". David had no choice but to comply.
Felix: he guys, let's go shop for some clothes in the store. After all, we need to look nice for JAY's birthday party, am I right?
Jay: what? When did I even say that I am having a party?
Felix: ofc u r. If u don't hold the party then we surely will. After all u r our mutya.... And keifer's wifeyyyyy🤭
I rolled my eyes trying to hide my blush while other's shook their heads and walked towards the store.
We went to the men's section to buy some clothes for them.
They all kept asking me for advice and showed me their clothes.
Then we went to cashier to pay for their clothes.
Ci-n: Jay, aren't u going to buy something for yourself.
Jay: nah, I don't feel like it.
Yuri: nonsense. U should buy something Jay. Come on we will help u select.
Jay: fine.
Keifer: u guys go ahead. Me and Jay will look for the clothes and then catch up with u later.
Yuri: but we can help.
Keifer: No need. I can help her with it.
Yuri looked like he wanted to protest but agreed. They all left and we went to the women's section.
Jay: ok, spill it.
Keifer: what?
Jay: I know u r jealous. I can see it all over your face.
Keifer: ofc I am Jay. U know about yuri yet u were still with him today, laughing and walking side by side.
Jay: that's because we need to act normal in front of him. And u know I only love u.
Keifer: it still doesn't make me less jealous.
I cupped his cheeks.
Jay: u r cute when u act like this but their is no need to be. I am only yours.
Then I kissed him.
Jay: come on now. We r supposed to be looking for clothes for me.
It took us about ten minutes to find a dress for me to wear for my party.
Then we left to find the others.
Everyone was gathered in the centre of the mall near the store.
David: Jay, it's already 6 pm. We have to go home now. U know it's still not safe.
Jay: ok. Bye then.
"Bye, see u at the party", said everyone.
Then we all went home.
