"You're Mr. Cassius!!!" Gwen was shocked. At that moment, she finally understood why the mystery man seemed so familiar. It was because he was Cassius, and that's why he said he would teach her later.
'So this is Mr. Cassius. No wonder he's so calm,' Gwen thought to herself as she looked at Cassius. If it was Mr. Cassius, he would definitely win. The thought of herself telling Mr. Cassius not to be reckless made her ears burn.
No! The one who should be embarrassed was Cassius! He had known her identity all along but never revealed his own. He even pretended to be so aloof; she was completely fooled!
"Cassius Fernandez?" Wilson Fisk's eyebrows furrowed when he saw the man's face, and the fleshy parts of his face wrinkled together. "If I'm not mistaken, you're a member of the Stark Industries board of directors!" He knew a little about the upper echelons, and all the board members were rich and powerful.
"Hmm, I guess I do have that title." Cassius nodded and grinned. "Of course, you can also call me a courageous mountaineer, five-time Ironman Triathlon champion, or a master philanthropist."
He did have that title after getting shares in Stark Industries, but he never actually attended any of the meetings.
"Mr. Fernandez, I don't think we need to be so hostile..." Wilson Fisk actually backed down. He knew that if he killed someone from Stark Industries, he would be in serious trouble. A problem with one of these people would cause an earthquake.
Besides, Tony and the Avengers were not to be messed with, and he didn't think he could handle those monsters. So, if possible, he would rather give up some profit in exchange for Cassius leaving.
"No. Don't let my identity fool you." Cassius shook his head slightly, his tone contemptuous. "I just want to beat everyone here to a pulp, or be beaten to a pulp by everyone here."
"You're going too far! Don't think I'm afraid of you!"
"If that's the case, then don't blame me for being ruthless!" Wilson Fisk's eyes filled with killing intent.
This was the first time he had ever been provoked like this. As a king of the underworld, he was being looked down on so much. Even if this man had the Avengers behind him, Wilson Fisk would not let him go. And... as long as Cassius disappeared, no one would ever be able to trace it back to him!
"Come on." Cassius was like a gentleman who specialized in etiquette. He rolled up his white sleeves and beckoned to Wilson Fisk. His disdainful expression made Wilson Fisk's muscles twitch with rage.
"This is going to be a good show!" Gwen shot a web and hung upside down from the ceiling to watch. She had been worried about Cassius before, but after learning his identity, she wasn't concerned at all.
Wilson Fisk had finally met his match, and he deserved what was coming to him. Mr. Cassius could easily handle the Lizard.
Wilson Fisk leaned forward, taking on a sumo stance, his eyes fixed on Cassius. This was his best fighting style. With his massive body, he could use sumo wrestling to better overpower his opponents.
Cassius looked at Wilson Fisk with disdain, his hands behind his back, as if he didn't even see him as a threat.
"Damn you! You're going to die!" Wilson Fisk was furious at his arrogant behavior.
BANG!
The ground beneath his feet cracked. He lunged at Cassius, moving so fast that he was just a blur. He was like a heavy tank moving at full speed toward Cassius. With every step he took, the entire warehouse floor trembled.
"Pretty fast," Cassius nodded slightly. He had to admit that Wilson Fisk's speed was beyond the limits of a normal person. If he were up against an ordinary person, they wouldn't even be able to react. And with Wilson Fisk's size, it was incredible that he could move this fast.
When you apply more force, you also have to withstand more force. To stay agile, your body has to endure more pressure, but Wilson Fisk didn't seem to have that problem.
But... that was only for others. In front of Cassius, it was nothing. He couldn't even be bothered to take it seriously. Facing Wilson Fisk's charge, Cassius dodged just as Wilson Fisk was about to hit him. Wilson Fisk flew right past him.
"I didn't expect you to be so fast!" Wilson Fisk stopped and turned to look at Cassius. He had been just a few inches away from hitting Cassius. At that speed, even a slight brush would feel like being hit by a semi-truck.
He also realized that Cassius was a trained fighter. An ordinary person couldn't be that fast. But even so, he was no match for him.
As he was thinking, Cassius suddenly made his move. His movements were as fast as lightning, almost a blur.
BANG!
"Ha!" In that split second, Wilson Fisk quickly blocked with his arms, but the immense force sent a shockwave through him. His eyes widened. What kind of power is this?!
Before he could react, he was sent flying backward by the immense force. The moment he hit the wall, all the blood in his body rushed up, and his face turned red.
"T... this is impossible!"
"What kind of monster can send the boss flying?!"
"Is that even a human?!"
Wilson Fisk's subordinates were all dumbfounded. They had never seen their boss get taken down in a single move.
"As expected, your boss is probably going to lose," Gwen said, not surprised at all. After all, this was Mr. Cassius! Her attention was now focused on why Mr. Cassius was "messing with" her.
"You..." Wilson Fisk's arms were in agonizing pain, and he looked at Cassius with terror. That power was far stronger than Ghost-Spider's! His gut told him that Cassius hadn't even used his full strength.
"Get ready!"
WHOOSH!
The moment Cassius's voice faded, he was already in front of Wilson Fisk.
WHOOSH!
His foot, with a powerful gust of wind, quickly and accurately kicked Wilson Fisk's chest. Wilson Fisk's pupils contracted to the size of a pinprick, and he gritted his teeth and raised his arms.
BANG, BANG, BANG!!!
His feet came down like a barrage of shots, fast as a blur and hard as a sudden storm. There was no time to breathe. In less than a second, Wilson Fisk's arms were in agonizing pain. It felt like they had been hit by countless hammers. But soon, his arms lost all feeling, and blood flowed endlessly. His arms were broken!
THUD!
Wilson Fisk gasped for air and knelt on the ground.
"I... I lost." He had never met such a terrifying opponent. This wasn't a fight; it was a massacre. He hadn't even touched Cassius's clothes and had already lost.
Ding!
[You have successfully defeated Wilson Fisk in a one-on-one duel!]
[Reward: Serious Punch!]
"The winner takes all. You have to pay the price for losing." Cassius heard the system's notification in his mind and didn't plan on letting Wilson Fisk go. He grabbed Wilson Fisk's head and slowly lifted him up.
The winner takes all, and besides, Wilson Fisk had killing intent toward him. At this moment, Wilson Fisk's limbs were dangling uselessly. Even though he was terrified, his body couldn't obey him.
"Mr. Cassius, please don't kill him!" Just then, Gwen released her web and jumped down from the ceiling, stopping him.
"What?" Cassius looked at Gwen with a surprised expression. Didn't she hate Wilson Fisk?
Wilson Fisk never expected that Ghost-Spider would be the one to beg for his life. He let out a sigh of relief. As long as he was alive, he would have a chance to come back! But Gwen's next words were a complete surprise to Cassius.
Gwen took a deep breath, gritting her teeth. "Make him lie in bed for the rest of his life and be a vegetable."
