Gwen's eyes were full of tears as she choked out, "Cassius, thank you..."
She had never dreamed that her father would one day wake up. What's more, after the doctor's diagnosis, it was discovered that not only had he woken up, but even the muscles that had atrophied from being bedridden for so long had recovered. His body was even healthier than before.
After some follow-up checks, he would be able to go home. Even the doctor called it a medical miracle. Something like this had never happened in the medical world!
"You're welcome. Your father was just lucky. I didn't do anything." Cassius shook his head.
"I know it was you!" Gwen's nose was red. She knew very well that this was not a miracle. It was only after Cassius arrived that her father woke up. Although she didn't know how he did it, she knew it was all thanks to Cassius. She said a little bashfully, "Are you free tomorrow? I'd like to treat you to dinner." The girl then added, "This is just a small way for my dad to thank you. Once he's more settled, we'll arrange a more formal dinner to thank you properly."
"Tomorrow?" Cassius was stunned for a moment, and the curvy figure in red flashed in his mind. It didn't matter to him if Gwen's parents treated him or not, as long as Gwen did. But... he had a dinner date with Wanda tomorrow night. If he turned Gwen down, he might miss his best opportunity.
"Are you not free tomorrow?" Gwen noticed the conflicted look on Cassius's face. "I want to thank you tonight, but my dad..." Because her father still needed some follow-up checks, she couldn't leave.
"No problem." A moment later, Cassius smiled brightly and nodded. A real man never makes a choice! I'll take both!
"See you tomorrow night, then!" A gust of sweet-smelling air rushed in, and Gwen's soft lips quickly pecked Cassius on the cheek. She blushed and quickly ran away. Cassius's mouth curved into a smile as he watched Gwen run back to the hospital room.
"Is this the feeling of youth?" He was already starting to look forward to dinner tomorrow night.

"AI Red Queen?" Cassius was delighted. He never expected to get this reward.
Red Queen was a powerful AI, at least more powerful than any other AI on Earth in the current Marvel universe. Ultron, for example, was far behind Red Queen in terms of intelligence and processing power. Red Queen already had self-awareness, and with the vastness of the internet, her abilities were terrifying.
"Red Queen!" Cassius called into his headset. Red Queen now existed on the internet and could be called anytime.
"Master, I'm here!" Red Queen's firm voice came through the headset. It was the voice of a little girl.
"Help me retrieve a classified file from S.H.I.E.L.D. about the Tesseract." He wanted to test Red Queen's abilities. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s security was the strongest in the entire United States. If she could access the top-secret files, it meant that she could go anywhere on the world's network.
"Master, intrusion successful. I have retrieved the files you requested!" A moment later, Red Queen's voice rang out in his headset.
His phone vibrated, and sure enough, it was the S.H.I.E.L.D. file on the Tesseract, with a clearance level of nine! It was the second-highest security level in S.H.I.E.L.D., as the highest level, ten, was only for physical files that could not be hacked.
"Looks like your skills are pretty good!" Cassius casually scrolled through the file and nodded to himself. With the AI, it meant that any device connected to the internet couldn't spy on him! His recent actions were already starting to get "flashy." It wouldn't be long before S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra noticed him.
After leaving the hospital.
Knock, knock, knock~
As soon as Cassius got back into his Cayenne, he heard a knock on the window. He turned to look, and the person outside the car was Tony Stark, wearing sunglasses.
"Cassius, it really is you!" Tony said in surprise as the window rolled down. "Are you sick? Why didn't you contact me? I have the best medical team!"
He had noticed the Cayenne just now. After all, Cassius's Cayenne was the only one in New York.
"No, I was just here to visit a friend." Cassius shook his head and spread his hands, smiling. "Why is the chairman of Stark Industries here?"
He never expected Tony to be at Saint John's Hospital. Saint John's was a top-tier hospital, but it was nothing compared to Tony's medical team.
Tony sighed and walked to the passenger side, opened the door, and sat inside.
"I came to visit some civilians who were injured in Sokovia..." He gave a self-deprecating smile.
"I'm sorry." Cassius saw the bitter look on Tony's face and knew that Tony was having a hard time. But he was surprised that Tony would come to the hospital himself.
"Don't apologize." Tony gave a bitter laugh and sighed. "If it weren't for my mistake, none of this would have happened." His decision had hurt too many people, and it made him feel incredibly guilty.
"And..." Tony paused, "if it weren't for Wanda, I wouldn't even have the face to see the injured." He knew that the only reason their reputation was somewhat salvaged was all thanks to Wanda.
"But I saw that Wanda's approval ratings have been on the rise. You guys should be out of the public eye now." Cassius had also noticed this. He had to admit that it had helped their image. The negative news about the Avengers had decreased significantly recently.
"Yeah." Tony lowered the passenger seat and sighed, a worried look on his face. "But it seems this isn't that simple."
"What's wrong? Is there another problem?" Cassius could see that Tony was filled with worry.
"Wanda is hiding something from us. Someone is helping her." Tony said his biggest concern out loud. The person who could change Wanda was definitely not simple. He was more worried that this person had other motives for the Avengers. Lately, he had been trying to find out the identity of this mysterious person.

Red Queen's voice came through the headset.
Investigating? Cassius was stunned for a moment but quickly understood. Tony was a man of action. He had probably started investigating the moment he found out about this. But he never expected Wanda to not mention their relationship to anyone.
Cassius turned to look at the worried Tony. He wanted to tell him, but decided against it. He had to respect Wanda's choice; maybe she didn't think it was the right time yet.
"Don't worry too much, Tony." Cassius patted Tony on the shoulder. "Maybe Wanda is just waiting for the right time."
"The right time?" Tony was slightly taken aback and turned to look at Cassius in confusion.
"She trusts you. She just needs some time to get used to it. Rushing her will only make things worse." After hearing Cassius's explanation, Tony hesitated for a moment but finally nodded. What Cassius said made sense. If he pushed too hard, it might make Wanda resent him. After all, it was Wanda's privacy.
"Thanks, Cassius. I'll treat you to dinner sometime. I've been so busy lately." After Cassius's advice, Tony decided to listen to him. He would tell Pepper to stop the investigation when he got back.
"No problem." Cassius responded with a smile. He never expected so many people would want to treat him to dinner lately.
