*AMBER FOX - Level 3*
Leo was as still as a statue, paralyzed with shock and fear. There was a fox, which apparently had a higher level than him, right in front of him. But when the fox crouched, as if it were to jump on Leo any moment, Leo regained his senses and quickly leaped away, only to find that the tree he had been near moments ago, it was nowhere to be seen. Now knowing that the fox had power far greater than his, he slowly backed off, aiming to reach higher ground. As he did so, the fox continuously stalked him, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce and tear him into pieces.
Soon Leo reached a hill, where he knew he might have a chance to use his bow. He scrambled up, with the fox right behind him, and reached for an arrow. He then aimed at the fox, which was already up the hill and darting towards him, and drew back the string all the way. He waited...waited.... and took his chances. He released the arrow, and it whipped through the air, and pierced the fox's hide. There was a hole about as big as his fist on the foxes chest, and Leo knew that was enough to finish him. The fox slumped to the ground, and as soon as the fox hit the ground, Leo heard a notification.
*DING!*
"You have slain: Amber Fox-Level 3

Health Points: 5/50
Stamina: 7/30
Mana Points: 0/0
Strength: 10/40
Speed: 20/50
Holy cow, His Health and stamina were dangerously low. He decided to drink a health potion, which after Leo drank, he received 30 Health Points.
"Health: 35/50"
After he drank the Stamina Potion, his Stamina Stat increased by 30. But since his max was 30, drinking it just maxed out his stamina.
"Stamina: 30/30"
Then he heard another notification. This time, it was from "The System"
"Survival Points are highly valuable at the end of this survival course, allowing you to obtain items with them at the end."
Leo grinned. So these "Survival Points", if he got more of them by killing more monsters, he would be able to get powerful items at the end. Leo guessed the experience didn't really do much, except that he knew how to fight an Amber Fox now. Just then, he heard another noise. This time, it wasn't just one Amber Fox. It was 4.
"Amber Fox-Level 3"
"Amber Fox-Level 4"
"Amber Fox-Level 3"
"Amber Fox-Level 2"
He was about to face all 4 at once. But Leo knew that this was only the beginning. It was time to grind.
He whipped out his bow, and drew an arrow, and after a moment, he released. Surprisingly, the foxes did not move, as if they were waiting for the first attack. Which Leo made.
The arrow flew true, and hit one of the foxes, impaling the heart. One down, 3 to go. Unfortunately, all that did was provoke the other 3. All of the foxes pounced on him, and Leo quickly drew back, and leaped away to make some distance for the next shot. Once again, the arrow struck a fox, this time hitting the chest. Leo wasn't sure if that was enough to kill him, but he knew it would have done huge damage. He didn't have time to think though, as another fox sprinted towards him. Only to find an arrow buried in its heart. Now Leo had one fox, maybe 2, to defeat. He Identified it. "Amber Fox-Level 4" He cursed. The strongest one out of all of them remained alive and well.
The fox's level, which was higher than the others, made Leo guess that it was harder to kill than the others. He was right. The fox dodged most arrows with ease, and the ones hitting only scraped its skin. Leo would have to move closer to ensure a better shot. That gave the fox a huge advantage though, since archers weren't specialized in close range combat. As he drew closer, bit by bit, the fox started to circle around him. Leo drew back the string on the bow, concentrated, and waited for the right moment. Soon, as if the fox didn't want to wait any longer, it leaped at him, jaws open and claws outstretched towards him. At that moment Leo released, and the arrow buried itself in the fox's throat. He later knew that the fox had drowned in his own blood, and the death of all 4 foxes was confirmed by a

Leo was battered all over, but on the inside, he smiled. 2 levels, and over a hundred survival points. Sweet. For a day's work, this was enough for him. Leo slumped to the ground, and fell asleep right away. Tomorrow would bring creatures of higher levels, powers, and skill.
