Bullet's taunting made Good feel like he had just found some entertainment.
So, this guy wanted to fight him?
Perfect. He was bored anyway, and after a few days of healing during the voyage back to headquarters, his injuries were fully recovered. He'd even rested for a day or two, so sparring with Bullet sounded like a good way to pass the time.
Good directly told Magellan to release Bullet for a fight, and his words stunned everyone present.
Whether they were Marines or prisoners, every face was full of disbelief.
"Did I hear that right?"
"What did this new Admiral just say?"
"Let Bullet out? He wants to fight Bullet?"
"Doesn't this guy's brain have a few screws loose?"
"…"
Warden Magellan and Hannibal were momentarily dumbfounded, not expecting Good to say such a thing.
The warden asked hesitantly, "Reckless Maniac Admiral, what did you just say?"
Good repeated himself, asking Magellan to let Bullet out so they could fight right here.
Once Magellan realized he was serious, he was at a loss for words.
In prison, prisoners mocking others was nothing unusual, especially here on Level 6 of Impel Down. These inmates were the worst of the worst, completely unrestrained and fearless in the face of jailers or even the warden.
Magellan was long used to it. But now, just because Bullet had mocked him, the Reckless Maniac Admiral wanted to let him out for a brawl?
This Admiral seemed a bit impulsive…
Behind him, Momousagi rubbed her forehead. Good Admiral… could you please be a little easier to manage?
This was Level 6 of Impel Down—how could they possibly allow a fight here?
She quickly gave Magellan a warning look. Sengoku had sent her along precisely to stop Good from doing anything reckless.
Of course, Magellan had no intention of releasing Bullet. As warden, he had special authority—he could choose to disobey certain orders from even an Admiral. This was part of his duty, and there was no way he would open Bullet's cell.
Bullet snapped out of his surprise. He hadn't expected this new Admiral to say something like that.
He grinned. "Heh… interesting!"
He knew Magellan wouldn't let him out, but Good had caught his interest.
Through the cell bars, Bullet decided to give him a show of force.
A faint whirlwind of air spun around his body, followed by a rolling surge of pressure. Dark red lightning crackled in the air around him.
It was Conqueror's Haki!
The powerful wave of Haki swept across the area, causing those with weaker wills to lose strength and collapse.
This was Level 6—every inmate here was a major criminal, with the lowest bounty in the billions.
That alone spoke to how strong Bullet's Conqueror's Haki truly was.
But to Good, it had no real effect—other than impressing him with its strength.
Bullet's Haki continued to surge, sweeping through the prison as he stood there with a cold smile, eyes locked on Good.
Seeing that Good wasn't responding with his own Haki, Bullet sneered.
"Oh? You're not using Conqueror's Haki?"
"What's wrong? The man who beat Whitebeard doesn't have the spirit of a king? Don't tell me you can't use it?"
Bullet laughed even harder.
Conqueror's Haki was one way to judge a strong fighter's ultimate potential. The greatest warriors almost all possessed it.
It wasn't just for intimidation—it could also enhance one's attacks.
"Looks like Whitebeard's really gone downhill, losing to some brat without the spirit of a king."
Now in his forties and close to fifty, Bullet had no respect for a youth barely in his twenties—calling him a brat came naturally.
Good, however, seemed not to hear him. His eyes shone.
He had been disappointed after fighting Whitebeard—though he'd copied the Gura Gura no Mi, he hadn't fully copied Conqueror's Haki.
That was why, during the battle, he'd been itching to fight Whitebeard again. If Momousagi hadn't held him back, and if Akainu and Kizaru hadn't talked him down, he would have kept going.
Now, facing Bullet's powerful Conqueror's Haki, the system's replication template for it was skyrocketing.
Good stood still, waiting for the replication to complete. From the outside, it looked like he was glaring at Bullet in fury, unable to do anything.
The onlookers assumed he didn't have Conqueror's Haki.
Magellan, seeing Good's silence and apparent anger, worried he might act rashly.
He barked at Bullet, "Shut your filthy mouth!"
"Get back to your cell! In Impel Down, I'm the one in charge!"
When Bullet ignored him, Magellan used Venom Dragon, a massive serpent of poison that slammed into the cell door—but with seastone blocking the way, it didn't harm Bullet at all.
All around, prisoners watched with amused smiles.
Entertainment was rare in prison, and now they had a brand-new Admiral and Bullet clashing—it was too good to miss.
Many even began to egg them on.
At the back of the corridor, Blackbeard also watched with a grin, enjoying the show.
If the two started fighting, that would be perfect for him.
First, he was curious about this new Admiral who had defeated his former "father" Whitebeard, and wanted to see his strength.
Second, if chaos broke out here on Level 6, it might just create the opening he needed for his own plans.
As the scene grew more tense, Good heard the system's voice in his head: "Replication of [Conqueror's Haki] complete. Attribute points gained."
His eyes lit up, and he sharply raised his head to look at Bullet.
Seeing the change in his gaze, Bullet grinned. "What's this? Gonna eat me alive?"
"Heh! If you've got the guts, let me out!"
Magellan also noticed the change and grew more worried.
"Reckless Maniac Admiral, how about you leave this place? I'll handle Shiki and Ace's imprisonment—you can rest easy!"
But Good ignored him. His eyes gleamed with confidence.
The next moment, he unleashed his own Conqueror's Haki!
