Chapter 42 - Chapter 42: Your Celestial Dragon Business! What’s It Got to Do with Me, Good?!

Doflamingo carried an air of absolute confidence.

Momousagi truly had no way to deal with him. If it were anyone else, she could've used the threat of stripping them of their Shichibukai title as leverage.

But the Fleet Admiral had already told her about Doflamingo's special status, making it difficult to use his Shichibukai position as a bargaining chip.

Doflamingo continued, "I'm not asking for much. Just have the Marines supply one or two tons of seastone, and maybe one or two shiploads of cannon ammunition. The economy here in Dressrosa hasn't been doing well lately, so a little aid would be nice. Not much—just three to four billion Belly should do!"

It was obvious he was deliberately making things difficult for Momousagi.

Her heart burned with anger. Doflamingo truly looked down on others, completely disregarding the Marines.

Seastone was a rare mineral, and cannon ammunition was something the Marines urgently needed for war preparations… Doflamingo clearly knew they could never agree to such terms.

Momousagi refused. "Those terms are impossible for the Marines to accept!"

Doflamingo only chuckled darkly. "Then something else will do. From today onward, no Marines are allowed to set foot in Dressrosa, and you may not sail within ten kilometers of these waters."

At that, Momousagi's face darkened.

So that was his real goal—keeping the Marines from monitoring him.

Just as she was about to bargain, Good, who had been silent until now, suddenly spoke coldly. "Doflamingo, with an appetite that big, how about I feed you a fist instead?"

Hearing each of Doflamingo's conditions, Good's temper flared instantly.

Before anyone could react, he charged straight at Doflamingo.

His speed was astonishing—Momousagi only felt a sudden rush of wind at her side, and in the next second Good was right in front of Doflamingo.

The smug look was still frozen on Doflamingo's face when Good's fist smashed into it.

A deafening bang echoed through the hall.

The luxurious high-backed chair beneath Doflamingo shattered, and he was slammed into the floor, leaving a crater with cracks spreading across the ground.

Good hadn't even used Armament Haki—just a pure, full-powered punch.

But since Doflamingo hadn't had time to coat himself in Armament Haki either, he coughed up a mouthful of blood on impact.

Good withdrew his fist, looking down at Doflamingo casually. "Heavenly Yaksha, your glasses sure are tough. The table and floor cracked, but your glasses didn't break. Where'd you buy them?"

"When I get my paycheck, get me a pair too."

It was only after Good said this that everyone else processed what had just happened.

Momousagi touched her face with a helpless sigh. She was already used to this.

When you went on a mission with Admiral Good, if nothing unexpected happened, that would be the real surprise.

Still, she had to admit—it felt really satisfying.

That was one of Good's charms. At least with him around, you didn't have to swallow your pride.

The Donquixote Family members came back to their senses, each with an ugly look.

"Reckless Maniac Admiral, you dare lay hands on a Shichibukai?!" Trebol roared.

"That's against Marine regulations!" Diamante drew the blade at his waist.

Doflamingo stood up from the rubble, dust and debris falling off him.

His face was dark as night, teeth clenched. "You break the rules first, so don't blame me for what comes next."

"All of you—teach this rule-breaking rookie a lesson!"

Since Good had struck first, even if things escalated, Doflamingo wasn't afraid. The Marines wouldn't do much to him.

Diamante, the Flag-Flag Fruit user, attacked first, and the other officers quickly followed, aiming to surround Good.

Good didn't bother dodging. He stood his ground, coating his entire body with Armament Haki.

His Armament Haki had already been at a high level before. After countless battles, it had grown even stronger. While not yet at the very peak, it was far beyond what Doflamingo's officers could break through.

Their combined attacks left Good unmoved, standing firm.

He scratched his cheek and said flatly, "Pathetic. Feels like mosquito bites."

There was a bit of sting, sure, but no damage.

Losing all interest in playing with them, Good attacked, giving each of them a punch.

This time, his punches were no joke—he infused them with Conqueror's Haki.

One punch, one officer down.

In the hall, they were sent flying like balls kicked into the air, crashing all around.

The palace guards trembled at the sight, too scared to step forward.

If the officers couldn't last a single blow, they'd be nothing but cannon fodder.

So this was the power of the Marines' new admiral… utterly terrifying.

Doflamingo, having recovered, burned with fury.

Though his officers had each only taken a single hit, their injuries were no light matter.

Clenching his teeth, he glared at Good. "Reckless Maniac, I know what the Celestial Dragons' national treasure is. I hold leverage over them. Keep this up, and I'll have the Celestial Dragons erase you."

For the Celestial Dragons, to protect their secrets, they would pay any price.

Even a strong admiral like Good was just a disposable piece in their eyes.

After all, years ago, the World Government had ordered the Marines to unleash a Buster Call just to erase defenseless scholars and their history.

Hearing this, Momousagi felt it was about time to stop.

The Fleet Admiral had warned her of Doflamingo's special status, so she'd hoped to avoid making things worse.

But Good wasn't about to be intimidated.

He stepped forward again, swinging his fist at Doflamingo. "You've got dirt on the Celestial Dragons—what's that got to do with me, Good? I'm not a Celestial Dragon!"

"Screw you!"
