Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – The War God System! Sacrifice Intelligence!

Everyone stared at Good with strange expressions.

Does this newbie even know how to speak properly?

While what he said wasn't technically wrong — after all, Good was parachuted in as an Admiral, and aside from the other three Admirals and the Gensui (Fleet Admiral), everyone else in the room was technically his subordinate — the way he said it was way too blunt.

In the minds of everyone present, Good had no influence or prestige. Anyone who could sit in this room was someone of notable standing and strength within the Marines.

Especially the veteran Vice-Admirals — they were seriously displeased with Good's first sentence calling them subordinates.

No one had seen Good's strength yet, and naturally, no one was convinced.

And from the way he looked and acted, he seemed… a bit short on brainpower.

This guy is really the Fourth Admiral?

Is the Gensui (Fleet Admiral) joking?

At that moment, a deep voice rang out. Everyone turned to see Akainu standing with his arms crossed and speaking coldly:

"Good, Admirals represent the military power of the Marines. We're meant to counterbalance the Four Emperors of the New World. How do you plan to deal with them?"

Akainu was already annoyed by Kizaru and Aokiji slacking off. Now, seeing this new Fourth Admiral acting like a complete fool, his irritation only deepened.

Don't tell me we've got another Admiral who loves to slack off?

After all, Good had just said his hobbies were eating and sleeping. Akainu found that very suspicious.

With Akainu's question, everyone turned to look at Good.

The name "Four Emperors" alone was enough to make the sea tremble. They were curious to see how this newbie would respond.

At the head of the meeting room, Good's expression didn't change at all upon hearing the term "Four Emperors." He reacted as if he'd just heard an ordinary name.

Then he chuckled and said, "Four Emperors? Just smash 'em, simple as that!"

That single, seemingly casual sentence exploded like thunder in the room.

Everyone was dumbfounded, mouths agape.

Is this guy serious?

"Just smash 'em"? Hello? We're talking about the Four Emperors here! If it were that easy, would the seas still be in such chaos?

Could you please think before you speak?

Everyone was completely speechless at Good.

But Good didn't care about their reactions at all.

No — to be precise, he wasn't even paying attention to their thoughts.

Because Good had sacrificed his intelligence.

That's right — he sacrificed his intelligence.

Good was a transmigrator, someone from Earth who crossed over into the One Piece world, possessing the body of Nicholas Good. Upon arriving, he gained the Pirate War God System.

This system allowed Good to grow stronger through combat. The more he fought, the stronger he became. He could even gradually learn his opponent's abilities during battle.

In simple terms, it was full-on replication. He could copy Devil Fruit abilities, martial arts, swordsmanship, Haki, and more… Essentially, he could copy anything.

And once he learned these abilities or techniques, he could integrate them into his own style, becoming increasingly powerful.

Upon realizing he had this system, Good couldn't stop grinning.

In a world where power reigned supreme, the War God System could let him reach the absolute top.

Back then, Good had even struck a classic chūni pose and said, "I'm definitely becoming the Pirate King!"

As he basked in his excitement, the system's voice rang in his mind again:

"Since the host is currently still an ordinary person, the system offers a sacrificial reward. The host can obtain a newbie gift pack by sacrificing something extremely valuable to themselves."

"The Newbie Gift Pack includes the following:

Super Physique – As long as the host has stamina, they can consume it to continuously heal their injuries.

Advanced Busoshoku Haki (Advanced Armament Haki) – Stronger than the Haki of most Vice-Admirals, though below legends like Garp.

Fusion – The host can fuse Devil Fruit abilities to create a brand-new Fruit. Its strength depends on the powers involved, and the result is random. Good luck!

God-Tier Combat Instinct – Grants the host extremely powerful battle awareness and instincts, making them feel like a fish in water during combat."

Seeing the rewards of the Newbie Gift Pack, Good's eyes lit up.

This was a full-blown god-tier starter bundle!

For someone like him, newly transmigrated and still an ordinary man, this gift would immediately boost his strength beyond that of a Vice-Admiral.

Take Super Physique, for example — while it didn't provide raw defense, the healing factor made him somewhat resemble Kaido's near-indestructible body. As long as he didn't collapse from exhaustion, he could keep healing through damage.

Advanced Busoshoku Haki was the biggest boost — a clear sign that he surpassed most Vice-Admirals. Even if his combat techniques or physical strength weren't superior, his Haki gave him the edge. One clean punch, and any Vice-Admiral would be floored.

It was the classic "I can mess up a thousand times, but you can't mess up once" setup.

Of course, that was assuming no one brought heavy artillery — a few cannon blasts would still be too much for him right now.

Now for the third reward: Fusion. This one really got Good excited.

Fusing Devil Fruits to create brand-new abilities? That meant he could potentially obtain never-before-seen powers — ones even his past self, as a fan of the series, had never imagined.

He couldn't help but dream: Give me the One Punch Man Fruit — one serious punch and I conquer the world!

…Okay, probably not happening. But hey, maybe?

Finally, there was God-Tier Combat Instinct — no explanation needed. It would raise his combat power by an entire tier and help him compensate for his lack of real experience.

But there was a catch — to get the bundle, he had to sacrifice something valuable.

Back on Earth, Good had read a lot of fanfics and stories. In most of them, systems just handed out starter packs. Why does mine want a sacrifice!?

Despite his grumbling, Good immediately thought of the appendix — that thing was right up there with wisdom teeth and tonsils, known as the "Useless Trio." Useless, annoying, and only good for causing inflammation.

So he tried to sacrifice his appendix.

The system coldly replied:

"Host, please read carefully. It must be something extremely important to you."

The appendix didn't count — while it did help with immunity to some extent, removing it had no major impact. Not valuable enough.

Good was speechless.

After some serious thought and weighing his options, he finally chose to sacrifice…

His intelligence.

Yes — his intelligence.

Because now that he was in the world of One Piece — an anime universe — intelligence didn't seem all that useful anymore.
