In every world, every story, every timeline, every dimension. There's always ONE thing that happens. That is war. Creatures who don't get along start fighting each other nonstop. It's neverending. In this world, demons and angels never got along. The same goes for demons and humans.
Everyone knows that by reading a bible or listening to stories about God. Demons are the most hated creatures in existence because they're all born as evil entities, and this is a fact that will never change in anyone's mind. But little did they know, not all demons are pure evil, there are also many demons who are very kind. Demons are trying to change impressions to other beings. Of course, no one will believe this. Who would? That sounds like a joke to every kind. So demons decided to stand up for themselves and become stronger than ever.
The most important rule in this world is to obey the upper-class beings. But what about the lower-class beings?
They've watched dozens of wars happen. When the upper-class Angels and Demons were fighting in Hell, the lower-demons always ran for the safety net where it's safe from all the attacks from the Angels bows.
The Angel bows can destroy 100 of demons at once with its white and gold flame. This powerful flame is called "Heaven Emits Light".
When demons get affected by it, the lower-class flee, the upper-class will challenge it. They will protect them and win over the Angels in order to show the world that demons are not weak and won't be made fun of again.
One day, Angels and Demons were fighting again.
There were screams everywhere in Hell, demons evacuating from battlefield as far as they can, there are many injuries and some deaths while running. Most died from piercing arrows. Everyone is desperately trying to survive, without knowing that they're even stepping on corpses.
Then, there was a little boy who was standing in the middle of the road, looking at the sky where there the battle was taking place. The boy held a terrified expression. Before he was about to move his legs.
Suddenly, a voice screamed.
"MOTHER!!"
The little boy felt familiar with the voice and quickly turned his gaze to where the voice started, but what he sees next makes his eyes widen in horror.
He sees his own mother pierced in the heart by an arrow. The young boy slowly kneels down as tears poured out of his eyes. Millions of questions appeared in his mind as he thought.
"Why…. Why does it have to be my mother? Why can't it be somebody else…"
One of his siblings suddenly appears beside him and places his hand on his shoulder.
"Mamoru…"
"I know…"
Mamoru looked as his other siblings held their beloved mother and cried. His younger sister was completely puzzled at what was going on since she was only 5 years old.
Everyone is desperately trying to make their escape, while Mamoru and his siblings remain in place. As they're all grieving, their mother admist the chaotic situation.
Suddenly, an Angel suddenly shot an arrow at Mamoru's direction, it wasn't directed at him but it was significantly near where he was standing, which caused the flames of the bow to rise around him. Resulting in making Mamoru scream in agony. His brothers eyes widened in shock as the scene unfolded. They quickly rushed to help him remove the bow before it was too late.
"Mamoru… hold on! Stay still for us and stay calm…!"
But before his brothers could do anything, Mamoru lifted his hands up to his face, using his fire ability to absorb the damage done by the bow.
When the flame of the bow was completely absorbed by Mamoru, he collapsed on the ground, which further escalated his siblings' concern. One of his brothers cushioned his head before it hit the ground. They then noticed he had a burn on the left side of his face, further worrying his siblings, However, aside from concern... there was confusion. How was he able to absorb the flames of the Angel's arrow? Normally, it would be impossible for a lower class to perform such an act.
One of the Angel's see this, his eyes widen in confusion and surprise, his lips parted slightly. Seeing this sight made him stop his attacks against the demons in hell. He watched… as he slowly flew back to Heaven to retreat.
He thought to himself as he drifted back into the clouds.
"Who is this low-class demon? It's very odd for a demon like that to absorb the Heaven Emits Light attack…How is that possible? I must report this back to the council."
This is just all too strange…
Meanwhile, in the midst of the situation. Mamoru fainted with his thoughts parting alone in the dark.
"My mother just got killed by those angels. But all I could do was helplessly watch her get killed…I'm so sorry mother. I must've disappointed you.. I hope I can change our fate one day…"
On that day, I had no idea what I would do in the future.
[Time passed to 11 years.]

'I really hate forests.'
I thought as I ran as fast as I could to survive because I was being chased by a giant beast right behind me.
'How could they be so fast? I swear… I shouldn't have to get the crystals that's next to the monster cave!'
I ran as fast as when I found a bush near a giant tree, I quickly hid inside the bush.
As the beast lost sight of me. It starts sniffing the area...
"Damn it…"
I muttered to myself. This beast won't leave unless I kill it. Luckily, I bought a sword yesterday, so I can use it now. Let's see how durable this sword is.
I pulled out the sword from my waistband and held it tightly before jumping out and slashing the beast right in front of me. The beast's agonizing screams echoed throughout the forest... clouded with a messy scene that came straight out of a horror movie.
"Sigh… How troublesome. "
"Hmm… Could this beast have hidden something valuable along with it? Let's search around for a bit then."
I began to searching through the beast's belongings to look for any items that could come in use.
I wandered around the corpse of the beast, only to find some long broken wires, a few sticks ,and a crystallized apple.
"Woah, where did this beast even get these long broken wires from..? I'll take it back home with these deliciously fresh crystallized apples! Just need to heat the crystals up, no biggie!"
Then I started to pack up everything in my little backpack then return home. After walking for a while, I've finally reached the wooden house, I walked up the stairs to the front door and knocked on it. After a few seconds, the door sprung open. I was then greeted by a young demon, Hiyoshi Geyo. My sister.
"Brother, welcome back! Did you bring anything back today?"
Said by Hiyoshi, looking at me with those big curious eyes and a grin filled with excitement. I nervously smiled back at her in response.
"Well you could say that… but before that, can we please go inside first? It's quite cold out here, and it's almost nighttime, not really a safe place to be... am I right?"
Hiyoshi stared at me for a bit and nodded in understanding.
"You're right, come inside then."
I walked into the house, then took off my shoes and placed it on the dedicate shoe racks.
"I'm home..." I thought as I followed my sister to the living room.
"Oh yeah, how's your newest invention going sis?"
She suddenly looked at me with a proud expression.
"It's going great! I can almost test it out by the time it is fully ready. So, what did you collect from the forest this time?"
"Well, I have some long broken wires, a few sticks, and an apple. The long broken wires can be used for your invention."
She suddenly looked a bit disappointed and gave me a dumbfounded look with a bit of a mocking tone in it.
"Whoa, you brought some useless things back today brother. I appreciate the broken wires, they're pretty useful but…. sticks? What can we do with it?"
"To make wooden axes. They're not THAT useless."
"Mhm, sure. Keep telling yourself that."
I sighed and rolled my eyes. What an annoying sister I have. Mocking me every time I brought some 'useless' stuff back, well it could be useful if you use it in different ways!
"Ah..! Did any brothers of ours come back today? Was Maro here?"
I want to see Maro so badly! He's the kindest big bro in our family. He's hard-working and good at cooking. He also became the captain of the first team of soldiers of demons. Plus, when my face was almost burned completely, he was the first one who came to me. He's so awesome!
"Oh, them? Well, they didn't. I doubt they'll even come back this week, sorry bro. They're always busy preparing wars with the angels."
"Ah, I see…."
How disappointed, and I was excited about it.
By nightfall, the sky which was originally a beautiful light blue sky has now turned into a dark sky with bright and shiny stars on it. While my sister was already asleep, I had a nightmare again. The nightmare took place 11 years ago, watching my dear mother die in front of my eyes. It hunts me almost every night, I feel like this my fault for doing nothing more than just standing there. Makes me think lots of 'what if.' What if I had done something at that time? What if I had pulled her away before she got shot by that bow? What if that day we didn't leave our house and just stayed there and took cover…? These questions kept making me think about all the possibilities I could have done... But it's too late now, I can't change the past. It's no use...
I slowly reached my hand up to touch my eyepatch and then reached down to my burned scar on my cheek. Feeling the burned scar under my fingers... I thought of another question. How did I absorb the Heaven Emits Light at that time? I can only use flame powers, especially as a low-class demon.
"Strange…"
I whisper to myself. Suddenly, a huge shooting star appeared out of the sky and flew into the deep forest. I was shocked by the sound of the shooting star as it crashed into the forest. I quirky left my bed and looked out through the window only to see a bright light in the middle of the forest. The strange eerie light has really piqued my curiosity.
"What the heck is that..? I wonder if it also woke Hiyoshi up. I should check that strange light to see what it is."
I then quirky ran out of my room in my pajamas and also grabbed my boots then left my house, running towards the strange light in the forest in the middle of the night. The forest was oddly dark and quiet which gave me goosebumps. When I finally reached the strange light, I arrived in front of a big crater where there was a glowing object in the center. I looked around first to check if it was safe before going down into the crater towards the glowing object. As I reached out towards it, I knelt down and grabbed the glowing object.
"Damn, it's blinding my eyes. How can it be so bright?!"
I slowly pulled the object from the dirt and the object finally stopped glowing. I looked at it and then I realized, it was a small old, and weird-looking cube with weird patterns. I paused for a moment and suspect it.
"This cube… why did it come from the sky? Was it perhaps... from Heaven? No way. Those angels won't be so careless about their belongings anyway. So what is this? Huh-"
Before I could say another word, I was astonished as the cube suddenly opened itself and floated on its own.
"Whoa damn-…"
All of a sudden, it showed me a vision. The vision exposes me to a horrific sight... blood on the floor, but not just that. There were lots of demons and angels' corpses, too. A place that looks worse than Hell. What is this? Who suddenly created this mysterious cube? Is this perhaps… the future? The demons and angels' fate?
