Instead of answering , it just showed a screen , a menu featuring items that can be brought using style points.
Simple things that are useful to me since having something like a healing pill was a game changer even if it couldn't heal grievous injuries.
It was tempting, but if I livestream my vigilante activities then wouldn't the people I'm going after, know that I'm coming for them.

Now that the tactical clothes and weapon I was looking for was secured , my attention turned towards the glowing card.
I picked it up and the moment my hands touched it a flood of information flowed into my brain.

I felt a bit refreshed after having that very productive chat with Ghost, now 'Rogue' , as she wanted me to refer to her like that.
The thing with Ghost was , I knew she liked me and she was never subtle about it.
But she never pushed it , well in my defence I just believed she was a guy pretending to be a girl to play a joke on me , so I never took it seriously.
But now after knowing that she was a real chick , all those behaviours started to make sense in a different way.
But it really was far more refreshing to deal with Ghost than Felicia or Peni, because I felt like Rogue was more understanding.
Looking at the picture she sent and her text my lips twitched slightly since it was very evident that she was typing with one hand.

Rogue was lying on her bed with a shy smile on her face as sweat covered her form.
She felt like her heart was going to burst out of her chest due to the excitement.
Adrian found her hot , and he didn't refuse her advances not to mention he flirted back and the picture of his abs he sent over made her cream herself effectively taking her out of action for a few minutes.
Knowing that he was single , she felt a sense of happiness, even if it was wrong of her to feel that way.
But her excitement dimmed a bit when she thought of her own situation…
Would he even think of her the same way after knowing that she was a Mutant freak ?
Rogue wrapped the sheets tightly around her naked form as she hugged the pillow tightly while tears of slight frustration trickled down her face….

The walls shifted in an almost magical manner as my underground gym surprisingly had an entrance into the sewers.
It was a welcome surprise since I didn't have to look for a place to gear up , or be careful while exiting my house since I didn't want anyone to see me wearing this quite questionable outfit choice.
The smell was quite bad… but not as bad as anything I had imagined.
The marker function was pretty helpful since it helped him navigate this dark place , not that it mattered since I was the mixture between a bat and an owl.
I should start the stream and although I'm worried about the wrong people knowing , I trust this System since I hadn't fucked me over…yet.
The style points were too tempting to refuse.
And maybe if more people know about these crimes , then would something change ?
Naive … but one can hope.
Nana always said to see the good in people , more or less cursed me to be honest.
I don't hate her tho… I could never , I never let her words define who I am because I didn't want to one day curse her when this ideology failed me.

Adrian started the live stream as he was surprised as an interface appeared beside the System screen asking if he would like to delegate the controls to the system.
Adrian left it to the system since he wouldn't have time to control the cameras which were invisibly floating around him.
He tried touching one but his hand phased through it , making his eyes widen as this was more advanced than any type of drone technology he had heard about.

Adrian didn't focus too much on the Livestream since he was just doing it for the style points and he was going the silent route , not planning to interact too much with the viewers , instead just let them be spectators.

Still out of curiosity he checked the live chat.

Adrian ignored Silk's comments since he was 90% sure this person might be on drugs.

The viewers increased as there were more than a 100 concurrent viewers, some left out of boredom while others stayed out of curiosity since they could feel that this strange person in the dark suit must have purpose for going through the filthy sewers.

Adrian paused briefly as he had noticed that Kitty had been chattering nonstop and even though he had decided to not interfere, her enthusiasm had rubbed out on him and during the navigation he had humoured her a bit.
But now seeing her question, he thought for a bit , and nothing came to his mind and after glancing at his dark clothes a name came to mind and he was too lazy to think of anything else.
"Noir.." Adrian said calmly as he moved towards the cross-section which should lead to the entrance of going by the sounds he could hear.
It was quite convenient since the warehouse near Brooklyn Navy Yard was near here….

Adrian droned out the live chat as he popped a man hole cover to the side and slowly poked his head out while surveying the surroundings carefully.
After making sure that it was isolated he climbed out and popped the cover back in place while stealthily moving behind a nearby cover while taking in his surroundings.

Abandoned warehouses , trucks , and large containers.
Adrian took in all of this as this Navy Yard seemed empty at first glance but there was movement in one of the warehouses after straining his senses he could hear noises.
Adrian followed the marker as he reached the warehouse from which the sound originated and as expected there were armed guards guarding the entrance and there should be more inside.
Adrian with his new skills could instantly deduce a way to disable them by shadowstepping behind them and delivering a knockout blow to the two of them.
But he didn't give into his impulses.
[ Puff69: This surely ain't real right ? Is this some kind of movie set ? ]
[ Roe Jogan: But this looks like the abandoned Navy Yard ]
[ Charlie: Is this the promotion to some new movie then ? ]

Adrian patiently checked all the surroundings and found two guards that were patrolling the area.
And he felt fortunate that he decided to check it since it could have jeopardized his stealth.
His heart was hammering inside his chest in nervousness but he ignored his nervousness since the countdown about the kid's fates was enough to calm him down.
He couldn't mess this up…. No, he wouldn't mess this up!....

Soft almost faint sounds of footsteps resounded, catching the attention of one of the patrolling guards.

The patrolling guard raised his brow suspiciously as he flashed his flash light into the darkness.
He didn't see anything but just to be sure he walked into the darkness with his gun held tight.
A few moments passed but the guard didn't come back and not even a sound was heard.
It was like he just vanished …swallowed by the darkness…

Similar comments flowed in as the viewers watched with astonishment and excitement at seeing Noir take down an armed gun man with finesse and stealth.
It was so clean that it made their breath hitch , they felt like they were watching a video game.

The viewers didn't know who Noir was , or why he was here , or what his purpose was ?
But they were sure of one thing …

" Oh shit! Oh shit! That's so damn cool! " Kitty pride aka shadow cat squealed inside her bedroom as she clutched her phone tightly while gazing at Noir dragging the unconscious guy he knocked out into a container.

The scenario was like it was straight out of a video game!

Adrian stealthily moved while not making any sound as his dark black suit blended in with the darkness , making him almost invisible.
Adrian crouched low as he moved towards the second guard at a rapid pace.
The guard didn't even get a chance to react as he got struck in the temple and crumpled like a sack of potatoes.
But Adrian caught him before he hit the ground and shoved him into another hidden corner while tying his limbs with a zip tie and covering his mouth with a tape ,courtesy of the store.
Even if these two woke up they wouldn't be able to cause any trouble since he had tied them up nice and tight….

The chat was lively as some argued amongst themselves while others waited with baited breath to see how Noir would take care of the two guards that now stood on opposite ends of the entrance.
Noir also seemed to notice the problem as he seemed to take a few moments to observe before he started to crawl the walls of the warehouse under the shocked gazes of the viewers.
They watched as Noir crawled in position which made him directly above the guard on the right.
And when they were waiting as to what he would do next , suddenly Noir let go of his grip falling on top of the guard and knocking him out cold with a harsh blow to the back of his head.
But no sound came and immediately when the second guard was alerted , Noir vanished from his sight.
Making the second guard and those who were watching to be wide eyed as the vigilante appeared right behind the guard and before he could understand what was happening, he joined his friend on the ground.
People in the livestream were filled with all kinds of emotions , some confused ,. some positive, others didn't care as long as they were watching such entertaining content.

"I guess … but is he even a good person ? " Rogue asked with confusion as Noir was dressed in black while beating up people , all of it didn't scream hero.
" Of course he is! He is fighting against shady people with guns! " Kitty defended her new idol like a crazed fan girl.
" If ya say so.." Rogue wasn't in the mood to argue as she just shrugged and popped a popcorn into her mouth…

I had knocked out a couple of dozen guards and from my enhanced senses I could feel that only a few remained.
I hid behind a crater as I gazed at a guard who was standing on top of a platform while gazing in the opposite direction from where I was hiding.
He should be about 11 metres or more from me , and I needed 10 metres to teleport to him, luckily there was a shadow near that spot.
I didn't wait too long as I crouched low and jumped at my maximum strength, while mid jump I used my shadow to teleport near the goon as I quickly gave him a strike to the neck.
*Crack!*
Ooops! Too much force… but he will live.
You can't be too sympathetic towards child traffickers , that would be dumb of me.
2 more chumps to go and I could save the kids.
