No one noticed it…. A costly mistake.
But they can't be blamed, since it's just a spider after all~

The moment the spider fell on Adrian's body , it dropped dead as something akin to a tiny red slime moved from the spider into his body as it vanished via his wounds.

While the chat was experiencing a roller coaster of emotions while watching Adrian , the same could be said about him as his body was moving on its own as he climbed the building at a rapid pace leaving cracks in the glass windows….

' Where am I ? I thought I died.' Questions flew through my mind as my memory was hazy and the last thing I remembered was the Ninja lady setting me up against a wall before she moved away.
Everything was a mess as I remembered conversations of experiments or something along those lines.
[ You are not… Kwanon Sai who previously saved your life when you collapsed in the fire , once again saved you from getting assassinated from Bullseye, a mercenary working with King Pin and the hand. ]
My expression hardened, as I digested the news , I nearly died two times and if not for her then I would be six feet under.

But luck wasn't on her side , she may have defeated the pursuers but the 'Hand' had sent in their elite weapon , a dangerous assassin forged through mysticism and enhanced through science making him deadly. Kwanon stood no chance but she still tried to defend your safety and failed.]
With each new information the tightness in my chest only intensified as the railing I was holding onto groaned under my grip.

[ Damn he is fast ]
[ Kitty: There must be something wrong with me…. But why am I getting all hot and bothered while watching him run ]

Noir didn't focus on the chat , as he hadn't even looked at it once because his mind had been consumed by thoughts of Kwanon.
It has been more than half a day since he had been knocked out , and he didn't know if
they had already started with their brainwashing of Kwanon.
He didn't want to be late again , and wanting to avoid prying eyes and trouble he had chosen a secluded path as he followed the markers while going towards the hideout.
His Bio armour had already transformed into the same sleek suit he was wearing earlier as he swung and jumped from branch to branch using the trees as means to traverse….

Adirondack forest…

Noir had arrived at what appeared to be what was an outpost as he could sense people hiding near the trees.
But he wasn't in the mood to play as he instantly jumped towards a tree while breaking the branch he was standing on as he hurtled towards a tree with his fist cocked back.
*Bam!* *Crack!*
" Ah! " A surprise shout echoed as Noir's fist sent the grunt flying.
[ Kitty: My Lord and Savior, Lord Noir!!!]
[ Holy shit! ]
[Silk: It feels like he is pissed about something]
[ Well duh , I would be too if I was strapped to a bed and designated to be a lab rat ]
[ Nat: It's different… I'm not sure.. but I feel it ]
A small dust cloud picked up as Noir's form impacted the ground.
The hand assassins surrounded him with their weapons drawn out , but this wasn't a fight anymore as Noir bent forward slightly before exploding with strength as he blasted through the smoke towards an unsuspecting grunt who although was prepared for an attack wasn't prepared for the kind of attack that had come for him.
*Bam* *Crack!*
A fist connected with the grunt as his jaw cracked from the impact sending him flying towards another grunt.
The other grunts barely had any time to react as Noir started to blitz them.
They were highly trained professionals… but Noir was stronger … faster… and better…..

[ Kitty: I'm gonna faint!! ( ᗒᗨᗕ ) ]
The chat exploded seeing Noir crush the Hand ninjas like they were just insects , but Noir didn't slow down one bit as he continued inwards meeting similar grunts and crushing them all the same.
But not everything would go smoothly as Noir's journey was impeded by a familiar foe , one he wasn't aware of.
[ That's the guy that brutally beat up Kwanon… He broke most of the bones in her body-]
Noir didn't hear the rest of what the system was saying as his fist tightened while he glared at Kirigi.
" I'm pretty pissed off now… so don't die…"

Kirigi gazed at the new intruder with interest and if his memory served him right then this was the same weakling for which Kwanon betrayed the hand.
'Dont die ? ' Kirigi was amused as even 10 of him wouldn't amount to much before him.
Taking down a bunch of grunts didn't mean much.
*Boom!*
But suddenly Kirigi's eyes widened as Noir before him vanished leaving behind cracks in the ground.
*Bam!*
"Kuh!" Kirigi felt like the wind was knocked out of his lungs as a fist was embedded into his gut as a shockwave erupted making Kirigi vomit blood as his eyes bulged out of his skull.
"Y-You *Blergh!* " Kirigi was unable to say anything as he vomited blood due to receiving a full powered punch to the gut.
" Don't bite your tongue "
*Bam!*
Kirigi didn't get any time to process those words as he felt like a battering ram smashed into his chin making his lights go out for a few moments.

" Oh My God ! Oh My God! … I can't!!!" Kitty squealed laying on her bed while rolling around as she rubbed her thighs together while breathing harder.
Kitty badly wanted to scratch her kitty but she held herself back since didn't want arousal to interfere with her viewing experience.
She didn't know what happened to her Lord Noir , but whatever it was , she was digging it.

Punch after punch connected with Kirigi's body as Noir clamped down on his foot with his to not let the assassin fly away as a barrage of punches descended down on him.

Kirigi smashed against a boulder as his bloodied body twitched as he had long since been unconscious somewhere in the middle of the barrage.
Noir didn't wait to gloat or acknowledge Kirigi as he moved towards the shrine as his gaze moved towards the cave that was built near the shrine.
He was about to take a step towards the shrine but someone stepped out of the cave making him pause…..

Wait, is that Kwanon?
"Ugh!" I wanted to call out to her but sharp pain like a needle stabbing into my brain impacted my mind, as I stumbled and my knees gave out as it was a pain like none other.
Blood dripped down my nose as I gasped.
The pain stopped suddenly as a mild headache replaced it while I started to see visions … no these were memories.
Kwanon's memories….

*3rd Person POV*
Kwanon had no will of her own as she stepped out of the cave entrance and when she saw Adrian she tried to launch a psychic attack on him but it backfired as blood dripped from Kwanon's nostrils.
But this backlash was enough to lift the subtle control the hand had enacted on her as Kwanon gasped while leaning against the stone walls.
Her gaze fell on Adrian who was kneeling while holding his head as her gaze hardened before she turned around and moved deeper into the cave while Adrian's memories flashed through her mind.
Making her contemplate many things…..

" Haah!" Adrian gasped while shakily getting up on his feet as his gaze contained complicated emotions as he could now clearly understand what Kwanon went through.
He couldn't even imagine living a life like that , just imagining Emma using him or abandoning him was enough to make him feel suffocated.
One heartbreak was enough to make him depressed so he couldn't imagine how she was feeling.
Adrian walked into the cave as he wouldn't let anything happen to Kwanon.
He didn't know how he would take care of the hand's influence on her , but first he needed to reach her…..

" N-No way…" Adrian whispered , his body trembling in disbelief as he gazed at Kwanon who was leaning against the wall with a peaceful smile on her face.
Adrian's knees gave away as he clenched his fist tightly while gazing at the blade that was lodged into her chest.
Kwanon had taken her life….
