I didn't let my rage get the better of me as I consoled the child who was obviously traumatised by the events that had happened to her.
But I needed to get her away from here to the nearby police station or somewhere safer.
[ Mission completed ]

I didn't think twice before integrating it as I felt way stronger but to my relief I didn't swell up like someone on steroids.
With this it would be easier to carry her in my arms and run and this newfound strength added another layer to my safety….

The moment I stepped out of the container with the child , I heard the sound of something moving through the air and maybe it was my emotions but I made the amateur mistake of being a little lost in my thoughts.
Giving me very little time to dodge but I was able to avoid the projectile with a mere centimetres distance.
"Get inside.." I calmly set the girl down as she fearfully went inside the container while I turned my attention to the intruder.
A woman clad in red brandishing two Sai blades in her hands , and her aura was red.
She wished to kill me …. And that attack just now would have hit the girl too if I didn't react in time.
I was already feeling pissed … and this does it….

*3rd Person POV*
Elektra gazed coldly at the figure clad in black who had disrupted the activities of the Hand and King Pin , her employers.
Her gaze just held apathy as this was just another job for her , get rid of the target that was causing problems before he became a headache.
She knew about the child trafficking but didn't care.. she couldn't afford to.
The job was everything, the hand paid her and she followed their will.
And from her first warning strike she understood that he was good but not good enough.
A bit tricky, but nothing she hadn't handled before….

Adrian didn't pay attention to his live chat as his gaze was fixed on the unknown woman.
And from the moment he had come into contact with her her aura had only become more reddish.
He unsheathed his blunt sword from its sheath as he held it in his hands.
He could feel the faint pressure and bloodlust from the woman making him instinctively know that this wasn't some random grunt.
Her posture left behind no openings and the openings that were present looked too obvious , and he was sure that they were a trap.
Adrian tightened his hold over the sword as his heart was pounding in his ears while he was feeling nervous like never before.
All the while his opponent didn't even move and to make matters worse she was standing under a place with no light meaning no shadows for him to exploit.
Too much was at stake , and he didn't save the girl only for him to leave her to her fate.
He had to face this…

'Fast!' Adrian exclaimed inside his mind as the woman rushed towards him and he barely had any time to block her attacks.
She was fast , precise and deadly making him quickly be on the defensive as this was the first time Adrian was put in a situation like this.
His inexperience was showing as even his enhanced strength didn't give him the edge he was hoping for as the woman was landing small cuts on his body , non lethal and inconsequential, but if this kept up then he would clearly lose.
And losing meant death and he wasn't ready for that, not to mention the girl in the container and the other kids in similar situations.
Adrian gritted his teeth, his eyes glazed over with a hint of madness and desperation as he suppressed his pain receptors.
He watched as one of her blades moved towards his abdomen but he didn't block…instead he let it connect.
But he didn't let it stop him as he caught her other hand, the blade piercing through his palm.
The woman's eyes widened in surprise as she seemed bewildered but Adrian just let out a war cry of madness and anger.
He wasn't dying, not here , not tonight, not anytime soon….

Elektra quickly understood from their clash that her opponent was physically stronger and agile but was less skilled than her, making the outcome fixed from the start.
She easily danced around her opponent while leaving behind wounds that were slowly increasing in number and would surely cause fatigue, effectively sealing the fate of her adversary.
She felt a hint of pity at snuffing his life out , because it seemed like he was here to save that girl , but a job was a job and she was a professional.
But despite being a professional Elektra made the mistake of underestimating her opponent, maybe it was confidence in her superior skills or just the fatigue that was visible on her opponent's form.
But it was a mistake that cost her dearly as she watched wide eyed as her opponent took a blow to his abdomen and had caught her other blade by taking it through his palm.
"Aaaaaargh!" The only thing Elktra was able to register was a roar of madness as she was pulled forward and saw stars as her nose cracked with a crunch.
*Crack!*

Elektra was shown no mercy as Noir gave her a headbutt on the nose , stunning her and before she could recover he gave her a full powered punch to her face launching her a few feet away from him.
But Noir was far from done as he pulled the Blade out of his palm and rushed towards Elektra with a growl as the woman was struggling to get up from the ground.
She wasn't given any mercy as Noir drove his foot into her face making the back of her head smack against the hard ground.
The viewers were in awe of the brutality, some cheered while some winced.
*Boom!*
But Noir was too far gone into his rage to care as he caught her by the face and lifted her up and smacked her into a nearby wooden crate destroying it.
*Bam!* *Bam!* … *Bam!*
Noir smashed Elektra through a bunch of crates until she was left as a bleeding mess.
She had been knocked unconscious from the first time he crashed her skull through a crate.
If not for her twitching body , then one would think she was dead.
But after taking down Elektra, Noir's body seemed to run out of steam as he crumbled to the ground and knelt on the ground while blood leaked down his mask…..

*Adrian POV*
Shit I did it again… I don't want to stop suppressing my pain because I'm sure that the moment I disable it , it is gonna hurt like a bitch.
But I have to , because my body just won't move so I have to know if the injury is too grievous.
With the ninja bitch out of commission I shouldn't face too much trouble….

"Ugh!" The moment I removed the suppression, pain that nearly knocked me out burst through my body as I groaned, gritting my teeth to contain the pain.
I removed my mask while mentally commanding the system to end the stream since there wasn't anything else to show.
*Blergh!*
I spat out blood as even breathing was becoming tougher.
" M-Mister , are you okay ? " It seems the young girl had sensed the fighting outside had stopped as she was kneeling beside me in concern.
*Swoosh!*
" I - " I wanted to reply but my eyes widened at the sudden sound and my body moved on instinct as I shielded her behind me.
"Ugh!" a hot pain exploded on my back as something sharp pierced into it.
Shit I screwed up….

*3rd Person POV*
" *Whistle~* Clean shot , just look - " Bullseye was unable to complete his words as he fell to the ground with a vacant look in his eyes.
His expression was frozen in his usual arrogant smile , but now they just lacked life in them.
As his body impacted the ground a blade passed through his heart guaranteeing his death.
" Haaah.." Only a tired sigh filled with complicated emotions resounded…

I was struggling to keep my consciousness afloat and I barely registered the footsteps that were coming closer and closer to me.
I didn't even have the strength to react to the blade that was pressed up against my neck…

I held my phone tightly as I gazed at the text message to which he wasn't responding.
I have my doubts , but I'm pretty sure that's his voice .. but I hope I'm wrong.

My eyes misted over as I gazed at the unread text message hoping to god that I was just being delusional….
