Chapter 11 - 11: If It Bleeds It Can Die

The Minotaur was holding a massive war hammer that bastard was the one who hit me, I was sure of it. Which is why I decided Cerberus would be the first to go.

But those two monsters weren't going to just stand there and wait for me to decide who to deal with first. The Minotaur took one step forward and swung his gigantic hammer I barely managed to backstep in time.

I raised my hand and tried to stop the hammer mid-swing with the Force, but this bastard was resisting me I could both feel it and see it.

The veins along the Minotaur's body bulged as he struggled to move his hammer, but he couldn't. I was starting to sweat this Minotaur had the greatest physical strength out of everyone I'd fought so far, which admittedly wasn't a huge list, but still. It was clear I still didn't have great control over the Force, otherwise I would've stopped that hammer with a single finger. I'd have to train my control when I got back.

But while I was focused on the Minotaur, I'd completely ignored Cerberus not exactly the smartest move. Cerberus lunged at me, all three of his heads snapping their jaws wide open, drooling at the thought of my flesh. I was still holding the Minotaur's hammer in check, but then the bastard let it go??? Guess he had some kind of intelligence after all. I used the Force to lift the hammer and dodged Cerberus's snapping maws. I had to take out this demonic dog quickly he was already getting on my nerves. But before I could go for Cerberus, the Minotaur suddenly stepped in front of me, ready to strike.

I ignored him. Just sidestepped, and with the hammer still in my grip, I smashed Cerberus right in one of his heads. His massive body was sent flying into a nearby building, which collapsed onto him after the impact.

Then I turned back to the Minotaur, who was already swinging for me again.

And that's when I did the craziest move I didn't even expect myself to do I dropped to one knee, used the Force with one hand, and forced the Minotaur to take a step forward. A dark grin spread across my face. Now this freak of nature was in my reach. I took my lightsaber out of my mouth, stepped forward, and drove it straight through the Minotaur's dick.

My lightsaber was buried deep in the Minotaur's most private place, and I held it firmly as I stepped through between his legs then drove it straight into the Minotaur's ass. Like, literally. His insides were melting.

The Minotaur only now seemed to process what had just happened, and he let out a deep, guttural roar the kind every Minotaur probably makes when you destroy both his dick and his ass.

"HRRRRROOOAAARGHHHH—GRRYYAAAAGHHH—HHHHHRRRRRRHHH!!!"

The Minotaur collapsed to the ground in agony, clutching his ruined crotch. Meanwhile, Cerberus was slowly crawling out from the rubble that had fallen on him. When he saw his companion lying on the ground, clutching what remained of his manhood, realization seemed to hit him

and when I turned toward him, all three of his heads started whimpering. He backed away until he bumped into another building.

Menacingly, I stepped toward him one slow step after another. Cerberus whimpered even more, then lowered all three heads in submission.

I powered down my lightsaber and tucked it into my belt. Maybe I could tame a hellhound… I wouldn't mind at all. So I decided to try.

I approached the massive three-headed dog, placed my hand on one of his heads, and said:

"Be a good dog. Do exactly as I say, and you won't end up like your friend over there. Got it?"

All three of Cerberus's heads nodded, bowing low in submission.

But I still had to finish my little job. I walked over to the Minotaur, who by the way was still screaming and even crying??? Well, I couldn't blame him… I probably wouldn't be able to handle it either. But still, it was his fault.

I pointed my lightsaber at his head and said:

"Myths should stay myths. Don't come back."

Then — bzzzum — the Minotaur's head dropped to the ground.

My revenge was fulfilled.

I leapt onto Cerberus's back and said, "Take me to where the battle's are happening."

I glanced over at Artemis, and an idea struck me.

I'd just use her. I saved her life, so now her life belongs to me, or something like that, right? I'd use her as a hostage. She should have a pretty high status among the Amazons at least, I hoped so.

I raised my hand and pulled Artemis toward Cerberus with the Force, forcing her to sit. With another flick of power, I immobilized her. She tried to protest, but she could do nothing except watch the world rush by. Cerberus was fast honestly faster than most cars leaping over obstacles with surprising agility.

Then I saw it: a yellow bolt of lightning crashed down from the sky. I knew exactly what it meant. I shouted at Cerberus to go faster, and in my head I cursed again at the damn wizard who gave children superpowers.

I had to make it in time. This was my fault for wasting time earlier. I couldn't let a bunch of kids die in a war they never should've been dragged into. I should've spoken up and said we couldn't bring them with us.

Luckily, we were close, and Cerberus, still afraid of me, didn't slow down for anything. He bounded ahead like a demon hound possessed, faster than most machines.

We reached the site where I'd seen the lightning. And there she was Wonder Woman. Diana. She had Billy Batson by the hair and was about to drive her broken sword into him.

That wasn't going to happen.

I used the Force, and in an instant, chunks of ruined buildings went hurtling toward her. Diana didn't even look away from Billy until the debris was nearly on top of her. When she finally noticed, I yanked Billy free with the Force, pulling him straight toward me. I set him on Cerberus's back.

"Listen to Billy," I commanded the hound, before turning to the boy. "Go with Cerberus and save the others. If you're in danger, transform."

He nodded weakly, still dazed, and Cerberus carried him off toward the other kids.

Meanwhile, Diana dodged every piece of debris I'd thrown, her focus now shifting toward killing another one of the children.

I wouldn't let her.

I stepped closer and blasted her back with the Force, hurling her several meters away. It bought Billy and the others the time they needed to run.

I didn't forget about my hostage, though. I pulled Artemis toward me again. When Wonder Woman recovered, I spoke:

"If you don't surrender and drop your weapon, I'll kill her."

Diana gave me a look like I'd just insulted her entire bloodline. "She lost. If she dies, that's her problem."

Wow. That was cold.

Artemis's voice cracked, tears welling in her eyes. "My queen, I'm sorry I lost. I don't deserve to live."

…So I saved her for nothing? Figures.

I sighed and shoved her toward Wonder Woman at least she could be a distraction. I ignited my lightsaber, but then…

The moment Artemis collided with Diana, the Amazon princess didn't even hesitate. She angled her broken sword forward, and in a single, merciless motion impaled Artemis straight through.

Even for me, that was brutal.

I hadn't expected her to kill one of her own sisters like that. But I really hadn't expected that, in the moment I moved closer, Diana would hurl Artemis's dying body at me. Instinct took over my lightsaber sliced forward… and split Artemis clean in two.

My eyes widened in shock.

This woman… had zero mercy.

It wasn't the first time I'd killed someone, so I pushed the moment aside and advanced on Diana.

"You know it's illegal to kill children, right?"

She ignored me, dodging my strike, then swung a fist toward my face. I caught her punch mid-air, about to sever her arm, but she kicked me hard in the ribs and forced me back several steps.

It was obvious she was stronger than Aquaman. She was a demigod, daughter of Zeus, and she'd beaten Aquaman to a pulp before I'd even arrived.

"I don't have time to play with garbage," she sneered, preparing to fly away.

I didn't let her. The Force yanked her back to the ground.

"Yare yare… I'm not done with you yet, princess, and you're already trying to leave?"

Her glare could have burned through stone as she drew the Lasso of Truth.

Now I had to be careful. I couldn't let her make me spill the fact that I knew the future or that I had a system. I couldn't let her wrap me with that thing.

…But then I thought what could she really do if I didn't let her move in the first place? Why was I even holding back?

I'd just destroy her now.

I raised my hand, locking her in place with the Force, and pulled out Aquaman's trident.

"You know what this is, right?" I taunted, watching her strain against the invisible grip.

Her eyes widened when she saw it. Rage twisted her face. "You bastard! Let me go! I'll feed you to the monsters!"

I smirked. "In a minute, you'll join him in the afterlife don't worry. I'm not wasting words on you. All of you disgust me. Killing children? That's a sin."

Then whoosh.

The trident flew from my hand and speared her straight through the head, all three prongs burying themselves deep. A torrent of blood spilled down her face before she crumpled lifelessly to the ground.

"Well that was.....easier than i thought it would be"
