Chapter 15 - 15: I'm A rock Surfer

When I woke up after barely sleeping, feeling mentally exhausted and tortured, I wanted to crawl back into bed, but I decided to actually get up.

"Uuuuaaaaaa," I yawned loudly and stretched out my body, then walked out of my bedroom and headed back into the garage.

"Jarvis!" I called out.

"Yes, sir?"

" I'll show you The Gotham city."

"I'm looking forward to it, sir."

I began putting on the suit, and let me tell you, this was the best feeling I had ever experienced in my entire life. It even beat the feeling of that time when a girl actually said yes to my date invitation. I threw the cloak over my shoulders, and all that was left was the helmet. I picked it up with both hands and slid it onto my head, then pulled the hood of the cloak over it. Now I really looked like Darth Revan, only difference was I didn't have a purple lightsaber… sigh.

Well, it doesn't really matter. Maybe I'd get one someday. For now, I'll show you one of the skills I learned during those three months of building the suit, training, and strengthening my body.

I walked out into my enormous garden and approached the giant flat rock that had been placed there as decoration. This was my companion. You see, I learned a few things over time, like how I could theoretically learn any Force ability, or at least, I should be able to. But one of the things I actually mastered during those three months was flying. Well… "flying" is a bit of an exaggeration. For real flight, I'd need godlike control of the Force.

I'll show you what I mean by "flying." It's more like… surfing.

I lifted the rock into the air with the Force, then jumped on top of it, and started rising higher and higher into the sky.

You have no idea how many times I fell. But in the end, it was worth it.

"An interesting method of transportation, sir. It's truly unique," Jarvis commented.

Behind the mask, I smirked at Jarvis's remark, then shot forward at incredible speed towards the city, balancing my "rock glider" in the air. I felt like Silver Surfer… or maybe the Green Goblin.

"Jarvis, can you hack Gotham PD? I want to know about every single crime happening right now."

"Yes, sir."

Just a second later, Jarvis spoke again:

"There is a robbery at a jewelry store, six hundred meters ahead of us, sir."

I pushed my rock glider faster and arrived in front of the jewelry store.

I could hear the alarm blaring loudly. From above, I saw a group of about seven people, all dressed in black clothes with masks covering their faces. They were climbing out of a shattered window, each one carrying a bag that was no doubt full of stolen jewelry. They all carried weapons, anything from Glocks to submachine guns.

I decided to land right behind them. As soon as my rock glider hit the ground with a heavy thud, all of them turned around, startled by the sound.

When they looked back, they saw a menacing-looking figure standing still, watching them in complete silence.

Robber 1: "KILL HIM, idiots! Shoot that otaku cosplayer!"

They all opened fire on me. As always, I stopped all of the bullets. I wasn't here to play games with a bunch of lowlifes. I was here to crush them.

"Watch closely, Jarvis."

"I will, sir."

The moment I raised my hand, all seven robbers were lifted into the air, gasping as I began choking them with the Force.

Honestly, it was a waste to use the Force on such weaklings. I pulled out the pistol Thomas Wayne had once given me, of course I still kept it, and while Force choking each one of them, I shot them in the legs. They tried to scream, but they couldn't. They could only make strangled noises and sob as the pressure on their throats silenced them. I wasn't planning to torture them or anything like that; I just wanted to immobilize them until Gotham PD arrived.

I dropped them all back onto the ground. Many of them blacked out from lack of oxygen combined with the pain, but a few were still conscious, writhing in agony. So I slammed them against the wall to knock them out, sparing them the suffering. All of them were unconscious now, and I hadn't killed a single one.

I hopped back onto my rock glider and soared into the sky once again.

"That was… truly interesting, sir."

"So you have some form of telekinesis, sir?"

"Basically yes, but at the same time no. Telekinesis is only one of many things I can do with the Force."

"The Force? As in from Star Wars, sir?"

"Wait… in your universe, Star Wars exists?"

"Yes, sir."

"Well, then you'll be very useful, Jarvis."

"I am at your service, sir."

"To the right, three hundred meters from us. A man surrounded in green light is flying through the sky, chasing someone with a coat carrying a woman in his arms."

"A man surrounded in green light? That must be Green Lantern. And the guy in the coat? Probably a Parademon. Which means… the events of the next movie have already begun. I'd better hurry."

I pushed my rock glider to full speed, and in the distance I saw a freaking green dragon. Why can't I create dragons? Well, At least I can break anyone's neck.

I heard Green Lantern yell, "No! Don't do it!"

Then the Parademon in the coat hurled the woman away. I looked at Lantern and shouted:

"Catch him! I'll save her!"

Lantern nodded to me and sped off after the Parademon.

I used the Force to catch the woman and gently placed her on the rooftop of a nearby building.

She looked at me and said, "You saved me…"

"It's no problem. I save people all the time. I'm—"

But she cut me off, giving me a weird look I didn't like.

"What do you want for it?"

"What?"

"What's it going to cost me?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. So I just ignored her and flew off after Green Lantern. If everyone in Gotham behaved like this, I wasn't sure I even wanted to bother saving them anymore.

As I flew away, she shouted after me:

"And how am I supposed to get down from here?!"

"I don't know. Maybe just jump."

And with that, I disappeared from her sight, flying at full speed after Green Lantern.

When I finally caught up, Lantern was lying on the ground, and the Parademon had his foot planted on him, arms raised, about to slam him down with all his strength. But before he could, something smashed into the Parademon and sent him crashing onto the roof of another building. Of course, I knew who it was, Batman. A.K.A. Bruce Wayne. And also CEO of the company I hold shares in.

Meanwhile Batman was sitting on the Parademon, interrogating him:

"What were you doing at the docks? I want an answer."

But instead of answering, Mr. Parademon opened his massive mouth and unleashed a wave of flames. Batman rolled out of the way as the Parademon stood back up, spitting another stream of fire.

And that's where i stepped in.
