Maya charged her spear.
'Inate ability: Mountain thrust'.
A beam of light shot out of the spear towards Eli colliding with her figure.
Eli raised her sword at the last moment the blast sending her body crashing into the metal wall of the ship with a loud bang.
Before she could regain her footing two arrows shot out almost landing straight on her forehead.
"What is this..?" she gritted her teeth.
The ship was large almost as blg as a large hall but the large cubicles above restricted the space.
'inate ability: ink blot'
Lester placed his arm on the ground and a huge ink blot appeared beneath Elis feet, rippling, pulling her downwards.
Carl hesitatanly streached forth his hands and steel chaing burst out of the ink blot, coiling around Elis body as it tightened
"We got her" Maya shouted
Eli just stood there, the black chains wrapped in ink groaned as it tightened, her knees deeply planted in the ground as Isaw held his dagger.
"I don't want to kill you guys" she muttered.
'Inate ability: scorpion venom'
Isaw's dagger glowed red sending a massive arc of red at the chained Eli.
Eli glanced at the attack.
"You leave me no choice" she mumbled.
Her body glowed.
Intricate markings appeared on her skin traveling all the way across her body, burning intensely with a golden light.
"INATE Ability: Blade mirage"
Her body burst into countless fragments of light, with a sonic boom, the ice beneath them cracked under the sheer force, and the walls of the ship burst open in a violent torrent of blades.
The heat emitted by the blast melted the ships fragmented walls, and the torrent of slashes travelled in all directions.
The group of four flew in all directions as Eli figure glowed with an intense golden light.
The ice had broken, the snow melted, and Elis stood on a block of ice, water surrounding her
They were outside, while a dust cloud surrounded the ships base, where Eli stood.
She held he blade, now covered in golden radiance.
'Lightning blade: Thunder strike'
Eli's golden figure raised her blade in the air.
The sky broke apart as a golden beam of lightening shot towards her blade, empowering it as she waved it in a upwards arc towards Maya.
It was too fast.
Maya couldn't react.
She had to brace for impact.
"Crimson Overdrive: Lunar slash"
Just as the beam of light was about to collide with maya, a figure stepped in, countering the devastating attack with a wave of a rainbow tachi.
*Boom*
A snow haze erupted.
"What the hell..."
A familiar voice echoed as Zach, eyes calm stepped out of the dust cloud.
"Ohh... so that's how you inate ability works. No wonder you don't use it all the time".
"Eli's form receded as her eyes widened"
It was Zach.
Isaw looked at Zach slender figure, eyes wide.
Maya knelt behind him, holding her arm, teeth gritted.
"I..." Maya gasped
"Almost died...?" Zach continued
Lester laid in the snow, blood trickling down his forehead.
Carl was unconscious a few meters out.
"I think you've done enough.." Zach looked at her.
"Y..Your hand..."
Eli pointed at Zach second hand.
"Oh this..." Zach waved his right arm.
The limb was black from the elbow down.
Zach had spent quite some time training in his internal world.
He couldn't tell how much time had passed in there but if he had to guess, it would have been around a month.
Zach had discovered that the tiny black blob—which was his companion by the way—was more useful than he could ever imagine.
[Astra: personal assistant]
[Astra type: Familiar]
[Purpose: Made to meet the needs of it's master]
[Rank: Alpha]
[Effect: Boosts attack potency, speed, and reflecxes by 30%]
Zach never knew this puny black blob could be so useful.
He could shapeshift the slime into anything he wishes so he just combined it to his arm to form his right hand.
Eli knelt down coughing up blood.
It was her drawback.
What Zach had figured out during these past few days as a seeker, the more overpowered the inate ability, the more overpowered the drawbacks will be.
Eli waved her hand, and a red vial appeared.
Zach mouth nearly dropped as he looked at the liquid.
"A healing potion?... "
"...She had literal healing potion"
Those things costs hundreds of gold coins for even a grade 5 healing potion.
She was basically chugging down a enough money to buy a house.
Zach had woken up a few moments before Eli released her inate ability.
He was a bit disoriented at frist but the loud boom the rattled the ship was enough to make him regain his footing in an instant.
Then he saw the lighting strike.
Surely that would've killed the sky hall cadet so he had to make a decision instantly.
Furthermore Eli had already won the fight so there was really no need to kill them.
Maya stared in disbelief as Zach helped Eli up.
"Is that the Zach guy?.. " Lester groaned.
"Probably"
Zach checked his watch to see the new announcement and everything started to make sense.
Zach really didn't know Eli all that well but judging from her behavior, she wouldn't want to kill cadets for mere points.
Thes guys must've thought she was an easy target and found out the hard way.
"But still..."
Killing a human doesn't seem right.
Ending another's life because of some silly game was very unsettling to Zach.
Probably because he hadn't killed anyone before.
"I can stand.." she let go of Zach hand, wiping the blood off her lips.
"I'm stonger than you think.."
"I never said you were weak" Zach pointed out.
"Just leave me alone..". She gritted her teeth in embarrassment.
The sky hall cadets looked at the duo.
They're were joking..?.
In this situation..?.
By now the blizzards raged on and the cadets all stood in the raging snow.
Silence.
"I think we need to talk".
Zach broke the silence.
"Inside..." he pointed at the ship.
At that moment the ship groaned, leaning sideways.
The beams broke under pressure, falling over.
*Bang*
Zach stood speechless as the huge gigantuan ship collapsed into the ice, shattering the ice under it and sinking to the deep sea below.
They're shelter was gone.
Zach didn't feel the cold because of the truth of warmth, but that couldnt be said for the rest.
Eli stood there, unmoving.
She probably had an astra that protected her from the snow.
Eli seemed to have everything in her inventory, which leads to the question who was she.
Zach had always thought about it but his question was answered in the most unexpected way possible.
While he was reading the announcement, he saw the names.
'Elisabeth Aragoth...'
It couldn't be.
She was part of the Aragoth clan.
One of humanity strongest set of humans lead by literal gods...
